As for Dream World you can get pokemon with abilities or moves that you normally can't get like umm... Murkrow with Prankster, or Gliscor with Poison Heal, most the pokes are pretty good with the new abilities and you can breed more with the ability if the one you have is female. Oh and you can get berries that aren't available in the game
