Mythic229 Which one? The crystals or the eye thing? the eye thing is a special addition doujutsu, the crystals is a mde up EDIT: Also Ryu... I'm not ice anymore, Hido essentially has Guren's crystal style... and is now the only person capable of having it (unless he teaches someone) because copies of pre-existing made-ups aren't allowed. So the eye thing is a doujustu, so is it apart of genjutsu. So that means a level 2 Ryuugan is capable of being immune to it?

Alastor: No, it's not a genjutsu at all, it's not a temporary effect and can't be broken (without some special circumstances) and one of the circumstances (theres 4 I believe) is Hido releasing you, another is death and I'm not going to reveal the other two

You would be surprised at how problematic it will be to use a Shadow on a man who is ON FIRE
Fire projects light, meaning that while shadows can be created FROM him; he himself does not cast a shadow because he doesn't block light, he projects it.
Any shadows Hido may see would not be of Immolatus; and thus he cannot be bound by his own shadow.

Mythic229 coats the entire inside of the box with ice That is what I was holding out for. Repair + Temper against ice now. Edit: Dragon if your shadow touches his in any way you know it affects you right?

Gold: That would be a problem if I didn't have my rainbows in the dark made up, which reinforces ALL shadows that Hido is in the same area as to be immune to light of all forms and pitch blackness.
EDIT:
Ryu: again... not ice, I have a madeup that automatically turns all ice I use into crystal... so unless you can make your box denser/more sturdy than a substance harder than diamonds....

Still a simple solution: Don't project a shadow not a simple solution, I fixed that problem when somebody turned their entire body into light...if your near hido your shadow will always be there... no matter how bright or dark it gets.

Crystal Jutsu: wasn't that one of Cold Assassin's techs? His one character from the Seido Clan used it to try and blow up Hidden Leaf I'm pretty sure that's the exact wording he used on it too; changing all his ice attacks into crystal

Mythic: You have my there...but I could just increase the size...I have power over metal and a Metal version of Gurren's Crystal Style.

Meh... kanshin's expendable... just stop breathing Kanshin. if you can't escape simple ropes... stop breathing
Gold/Ryu: Meh, guess it was ice, though if you've read Hido's his is a bit more...unique in that the crystals function as a medium for his shadow attacks, and if they hit you your trapped in shadow imitation jutsu. basically he crystallized both his ice powers AND shadow powers into one crystal
