1337 and I totally met some Japanese kids today - I met a guy named Yusuke and 1337 met a kid named Daisuke. My inner fanboy geeked out.

Nah, I geeked out 'cause they had the same name as popular anime characters that I recognized. Though those names are just as popular as names like Jake and Ashley. As people, yah they're impressive 'cause they're in a foreign country - but in the end they honestly looked like a bunch of nerds. I'm not some japanese-culture worshipper, so I wasn't really expecting much more than a bunch of students. confused

ya same but it was cool talking to some on else in a language that isn't your owne and that person understand you and actually respond
i mean i barely get a response when i'm speaking english unless it's a rude one but that doens't count
