Uakai chuckled soflty realizing he was asleep. Gently she put the glas sof water on the table and smiled at him
"Poor Kaen.." she said soflty sighing. he seemed to be to big now for her to carry upstairs though.. She carefully shifted out of his grasp and covered him up
"Onii san, i'm gunna run into town ok?" she said. then paused and grabbed a bag and handed it to him. On the top of the present was a stuffed animal in the form of a floppy dog. And inside was an outfit for tomo and a bunch of baby clothing.
"Here you go onii san, i bought that for you and forgot to give it to you

Kaen walked down the stairs, seeming slightly distracted as she crossed to the kitchen apparently not noticing anyone.

"She's downstairs. The neko." Lily answered, then stood and brushed herself off, smiling. "I can take you too her. Come on." Then she was walking out of the room and down the stairs.

Guan stood and followed Lily downstairs. Nodding as he connected Ukaia's name to her face.

"Eh..." Tomo took the gift and felt it. "Thanks, Uka." He said, leaning in to kiss her forehead, "Please be careful. You've been having the worst luck in your trips to town."

Ukaia laughed a bit
"Sorry Onii san I'll be carefull" seh said then waved at Lily
"See you later" she added smiling to them
"Oh Lily. that package there.. with the pink bow. that'syours" she said happly. Trying to ignore the wiggling guilt. And in Lily's package was a book of magic she'd found in a store, a nd an outfit, plus her stuffed animal was an owl

The kitsune walked back out of the kitchen, jolting when she realized that there actually were people around. "Hello," she said quietly as she sat down at one of the tables, watching the two newcomers with interest.
((kaden being one of them since she hasn't seen his teen form))

"Oh, hey Uka, wait!" Lily called, seeing that Ukaia was about to leave. "Guan wanted to talk with you... thank you for the presents sis." she added with a smile, then headed to the package. "Hello Miss Kaen!"

"Oh.. ok" Ukaia said. Sighing inwardly. She wnated to go see Tynan.. but oh well. It could wait.

"I wanted to talk to you about Arlen," Guan said walking over so he wasn't talking to Ukaia across the room. "I was hoping you could tell me what you knew of his abilities."

She nodded at Lily, then turned and half-smiled at Tomo. "You sound as tired as I feel," she said, picking up a chunk of sticky rice.

Tomo chuckled and stretched, "Oh, you know. I get the feeling that I'm the mother of this big family. The last one to know what's going on, but the one to clean up the mess anyway." He said, glancing to Ukaia for a moment as she talked to Lily, "And my night's not over, either."

"Not very much" she said truthfully to him
"he heals with the wite fire.. and it sooths when you have headahces and stuff. And then that big red fire he used to threaten when Lily was taken over, but.. that's it
