Of course he was over it now, after all he'd made her stand there and wait for seven and a half minutes. That would mollify anyone's anger. Rolling her eyes for a moment she stared off over his shoulder, her brow furrowed as she tried to come up with the best way to say what needed to be said. "Sevilin I..." Her eyes closed for a moment and she dropped her head, shaking it lightly. Just say it. Spit it out and get it over with. "I'd like to..." Come on Zahara. Just say it. "I'd like to take a...ramble with you..." Oh Lloth, only he used the word ramble. Her hands flopped out to him beseechingly. "Please? Just humor me this one time?"

Okay...he was getting intrigued. She was acting peculiar...peculiar in that intriguing curious way. Damn it. Though a raise of his eyebrow when she asked him to take a ramble with her. That was even more odd. What was she planning to do, walk him into the Underdark and slip a dagger between his ribs? Then again, she had a rather pleading demeanor about her. A little click of his tongue to Nym and he waited for the ferret to jump to his shoulder before he stood and walked over to the bookcase, putting the book away and then back over to her. "Alright, I'll humor you."

Therein lay one more way they were different. Zahara would have merely dumped the book on the cushion of the couch and stood up to go. He had to stand up and put it back in it's rightful place. His simple action reminded her of the argument they'd had a few days ago about all her research material. And it was still out like that too. Though a glance over there told her someone had straightened it up a little bit. She wondered briefly if it was him. "I'll just get my cloak..." But then she remembered she didn't need it as she had a cape. "Never mind. Let's just go." she walked to the front door and headed out, brushign her fingers briefly over her daggers just making sure she had them. It was a normal day in the Underdark, random noises could be heard off in the distance and she set off on the path heading down by the river, running over the best way to say what had to be said.

A little nod to her as she mentioned that they go, and he casually followed her out the fortress and into the unforgiving Underdark. Of course the only noise that came from his direction was the sound of chitters from Nym, the slightly scratching of claws on leather as he walked on. She was heading for the river. What was with her and water...though he would admit the sound of running water wasn't so bad. "So...what are we doing on this ramble?"

She didn't answer him, much too preoccupied with her own thoughts to even hear what he said. Instead she just kept meandering along, her competent feet avoiding jutting rocks and holes that would trip any not used to the various perils of the Underdark. She saw the murky liquid in the distance and stepped up her pace a bit, until she was standing right beside the inky water. "I have something that needs to be said that I couldn't say in the Fortress. Other ears all around you know and I just thought it would be better if we went outside and walked for a little while." She was rambling and not the walking about kind either. Finally she plopped down on the bank and ran her fingers through her hair though out of nervousness or agitation she didn't know which. "How upset would you be if I told you I'd lied to you...? Perhaps it was even unintentional..."

"Okay." So csaual wasn't he? Then again he had no reason to not be that way. Idly he still followed down to the river, picking up a few stones once there, throwing them so they skipped across the dark glassy surface of the water. Nym even gave it a try...though his rock only went no further than Sevilin's boots. Then an inquisitive look to her as she asked quetsions.
"You sound as if you care about my own feelings, as well as yours." She was doing it again, making him intrigued and want to be closer to figure her out. After all, Sevilin didn't like not knowing things. But he let it pass, and skipped another rock. "I suppose depending upon subject matter, I could either be indifferent or at least slightly irritated."

She nodded, "That's about what I figured. Well for this you'll probably be slightly irritated. It's a rather large lie though I didn't realize at the time it was. I really thought I wasn't, I mean the morning and I took those potions. Both of them in fact but it just didn't do any good. The truth was revealed to me for absolute certainty this morning. I had my suspicions but then at the same time I could have gotten sick from the potion and it didn't come back this morning so I thought that maybe it had just been that. But then Malik had to go and poke and once he did that, well I knew. For sure." She turned her head to look directly at him. "Do you understand what I'm telling you Sevilin?" A beat passed and she muttered, "I'm pregnant..." and oh if he asked if it was his she was going to toss him in the water, she swore to Lloth she would.

He shoved his hands in his pockets as he listened to her, taking in what she was saying and generally actually being polite and listening to her before he interrupted for anything. Though as she went on he got that sinking feeling until she reached her final point. She was pregnant...hell he had done it again. Add one more child to the list of ones he would never lay eyes on or have an active role in thier life. Then again...he was used to that by now wasn't he? For a moment he merely kicked at the rocks...he wasn't sure how he felt...perhaps that feeling of disappointment again.
"What are you going to do?" No, he shouldn't be asking, but he did anyway. He was curious...after all, she proclaimed often enough that she 'wasn't like the other women'...perhaps this was even a golden opportunity for him if he chose to take it.

She felt better having said it but his reaction was not pleasant. He didn't seem at all thrilled judging by the way he was kicking at the rocks. But then she wasn't thrilled either. She didn't know the first thing about babies after all and she certainly didn't want any. Why bring a child into the world just so she could mess it up? Sighing she shook her head. "I don't know. I haven't really gotten that far into thinking about it yet." Then another thought entered her mind and she looked up with a glare. "I'm not going to kill it if that's what you're asking. Though maybe I should...it would probably be better off." Yup, bad situation.

"I wasn't thinking that. And you don't have the heart to kill something so innocent...or rather you do have a heart, thus you can't bring yourself to do it." By Gods, was that just a compliment to her...depended on how you looked at it he supposed. He didn't mean for it to be or not...just a statement of observation of her ways. Though a raised eyebrow. "Why do you think it would be for the best? Who knows...baby may do your life a world of good." Rolling his shoulders back for no reason other than to do it. Well this was certianally going to be an interesting conversation.

"This is true. Dresses do suit you...you look very good in them."
Then a glance at her trying to cover her ears and a shake of his head.
"you shouldn't be afraid to let them see who you are. besides, I have an idea for a little demonstration should anyone give you any trouble about it. and I know. so far I have half a room and the bedside table."

That earned him a stare. Since when did she have a heart in his opinion? She'd always thought that he believed it was just a space. Recovering from that revelation she shook her head. "I'm not so foolish as to know that I have nothing to bring to a child's life Sevilin. I'm loud, brash, have a tendency to be violent and lose my temper, and sometimes I'm even rude...when the occassion calls for it." Yeah, she was listing her faults, one by one. "Tell me what good is that going to do a helpless baby. From my limited knowledge they like soft, nice things and need plenty of attention and plenty of quiet. A baby would be the antithesis to my lifestyle. Not to mention, that baby is going to grow up into a child. And that child is going to expect me to have the answers, expect me to teach it things. The very last thing this plane needs is another child as messed up as I am running around." Her voice had slowly gotten lower and quieter and she was now staring at her hands as though she was ashamed of the way she was.

"Eye candy for you, dear Malik." A little chuckle and a glance at him behind her, using the mirror to do so. Though hands quit thier fiddling with red and silvery white strands at his comment on it and she turned around to face him this time, leaning back on her hands on the dresser, raising an eyebrow at him. "Demonstration...of what sorts?" A tilt of her head to accompany the question before a little smirk. "Well you better stop then and reorganize, you're not allowed to fo beyond that limit. Besides...it's not like home is horribly far away. A gate can get you back easily."
"Sound like a perfectly normal habit drow to me." He shrugged. Well...she did, he was just telling the truth now wasn't he? Another shrug of his shoulders before he sighed in that thinking way of his. Sevilin was just like that now wasn't he. "You don't think you'd make a good mother...yet you would rather not kill that which you have to deal with. Intriguing situation, that's assured. So what then...you intend to have this child and simply shove it on to someone else?"

Her head snapped up and she studied him for a moment. "No...but that's a really good idea. The question is who am I going to shove it on...? I could give it to Malik and Piper but that just wouldn't be the same as having their own, though that's an option as well. They'd certainly care for the child, Piper being a surface elf and all. I might run into a few problems with Malik though. He doesn't really like me adn probably wouldn't be too thrilled with a child who could end up being just like me." She discarded that notion since Piper's eagerness might just shut Malik right up. "Other than that...who else could I shove it off on? That sounded so harsh, didnt it? It was best for the child. Really it was. "Doubt Kieran and Fianna would want a dark skinned drow baby."

He kicked at the rock that Nym had 'thrown' and had landed by this boots, surpringly enough kicking it over the water and making it skip across the little currents. Well he was talented with that wasn't he? No, he was just precise and mechanic. For a moment, Sevilin watched over the water before he looked down to here where she sat, crimson eyes coming to watch violet.
"It's my child as well...give it to me if you don't want it." He drew his hands from his pockets and crossed his arms. He had a say in this, surely...they...at least he wasn't Llothian anymore and he was going to express his opinion damn it. Besides...how many times had he actually wanted to be involved with one of his children. "I'm perfectly capable...raised both my brothers from thier infancy. And it relieves you of the burden."
