Hinote Tosatsu Deil Grist Hinote Tosatsu Interest In Your Insides well it's patrol, but I ran into Blade, and then me and him fought, and then he told me that sinse he's akatsuki, if I finish patrolling and report to Matsuya, I'll get an A - rank in credit :] Doesn't count. Nobody knows about Akatsuki yet, so they won't up the rating. Plus, he's a genin, nothing impressive. It doesn't matter so long as you fight someone from outside the village, or that is a Rouge. Don't you only get the bonus if you defeat them and bring in the corpse? No, it says that it counts as an A rank if you scare them off, or 2 A ranks if you actually fight them. "Fight" could be run in, punch at them once, and then run away once they retaliate. Technically, it would still be a fight.

No fighting, and THEN starting a patrol mission and counting it as A

No fighting, and THEN starting a patrol mission and counting it as A Actually, you should take that up with Zane seeing as he Told Blade that it worked that way.
