Amy's eyes widened as Dougherty put down a few coins on the bar, more than what covered his coffee. She blushed brightly and smiled down shyly as she picked up the coins. She put the required amount in the money area. She didn't know what to do with the tip.
She was still looking down at the bar bashfully when she spoke. Dougherty had already left. "He shouldn't have done that... Especially after he had already reposted the contest for my owl. It's too much... Dougherty's really sweet."
She looked up at Karrie when he spoke and sighed softly herself. "If you're that worried, go after her. I can go to AS myself. I should do some paperwork, anyway."
