Yeah they do. They're wearing those old Revolutionary War era triangle hats, thus 3 corners.

The icon for the game is one such hat even.
I got one of those gangster hats. Those full-circle rim ones, only there's not stiffness anywhere, so it's universal, able to look gangster or girly or like a sailor hat if you bend it up all around.

Here's a lesson from AoE 3:
NEVER charge 20 field guns if your group is nothing but pikemen. You'll most likely die before you even reach them.
I love doing that though. Taking out 100+ with only 20. Muahaha! twisted
