Seph chuckled waiting for Chobi to fly up to their level before continuing the flight "Yeah thats what I have heared to but you and me are yet to find the moogle district and the little floaty island places that seem to not be a part of the level system. But tell me, are you impressed with my flying now I can lift you up?" she grinned being extra careful about not scratching Itaka.
Hebal gasped gazing up at Seph and Itaka flying together "Ooh she's getting stronger fast. Yesterday she would only carry me and Mari for a small amount of time, oh and she did a mean joke to Mari pretending to drop her" she told Zadina finishing off her little flower by drawing a butterfly on it "There, all done! Did Amane show you her little class garden when you were at school? she's really proud of that one and insists I go look at it every time I got back home"

Felina giggled hopping up onto the frirst step "Yeah they probably don't but we can do this as a good form of exercise and if you start to tire you have me to refresh you" she pointed out skipping up a further few steps "you'll be pleased to know that unlike a lot of gifts you are allowed to sell them if they aren't going to be appreciated or of use" she winked at him.
Satoshi smiled happy to see inside everyone was too busy watching the matches from a small screen or chatting away with the friends and engaging in other social activities such as pool "Now this is what you call a local pub. But what would you like to drink this evening? Let me get you something nice" she offered placing herself down at a free table near the corner of the room.
Yusti smirked sticking her tongue out at Mari "Not in the way your thinking of I bet, not my type. She just seems like a fun person to have around who would make sure theres never a dull moment. I was just asking about things as a result of curiousity and unfortuantely for you, your party is somewhat intriguing"

Oassu smiled "I guess so" he said following the others upstairs "Still why would we get so many presents anyway?" he asked "Wouldn't it just be our friends and family visiting?" he said.
Gil chuckled "Nah forget it it's my treat tonight what do you want to drink?" he said sitting Enkidu down to guard the table "I'll be fine with just a beer but maybe we could get some wine to share" he said looking at the wine and food menu.
Mari frowned "Intriguing? Why?" she asked "And yeah there isn't a dull moment we keep ourselves busy" she shrugged wishing she had a drink for her and Sophia.
Itaka nodded "Yeah I am, your wings are really coming along you know its pretty impressive" he said looking for the moogle district "Theres a moogle district in the area? They might sell some interesting little gizmo's though" he said.
Zadina nodded "I remember thats quite impressive really but no I didn't get to see Amane's one only these two twins Yawi and Yiro were with me in the garden area" he said

Seph also nodded using her tail to stroke Chobi's beak as her hands were full "Yeah, I saw a signpost ages ago saying there was a moogle district but I have no idea where it is and only know its somewhere above the arena" she explained stretching her wings out further to pick up speed "Your actually quite heavy to carry so it surprised me too I could keep hold of you for too long. Gravity has a habbit of making things feel like they weigh twice as much"
Hebal scratched her head trying to place a set of faces to the names given to her "Hmm Yiro... Yawi... oh I think I know those two. They are kinda odd girls but pleasent enough and Yiro is definitely the one who is in charge and more dominant. Hehe poor Yawi can be so clumsy according to what my mum has told me about her. Oh yeah and would you like me to ask Seph to give you a flight sometime" she smiled giving them a wave despite knowing they probably wouldn't have seen.

Felina smiled back leaping up two steps and spun around walking backwards for a short amount of time "Unfortunately all the noblemen will probably feel obliged to come as it will be a royal wedding but after that a lot of them we will probably never have to see again so dont get too worried. Although the way it's going I bet your loaded with no need for any super valuble things really" she whispered remembering the diamonds Milly had rained out.
Satoshi shook her head glancing down at the menu again "I'll tell you what, I'll pay for the drinks and you can pay for the meal" she compromised double checking Terrato was out of sight for the time being "Some wine would be good for me and to eat I think I would like to have some cottage pie. What about you for food?"
Yusti paused thinking of a good way to explain herself "It's just... well your a weird bunch of people. I mean it's very rare nowerdays to find a group of people so diverse both in appearences and in personalities and abilities. Plus it sounds like you guys have a fun life. Come stop by my arena if you get bored over the next 9 months and I'll give you guys a discount" she smiled rubbing Sophia's head.

Oassu smiled as they reached the top "Well so long as the don't mind losing a good bit of money it'll all be fine" he laughed "Still your right we've got plenty of stuff I don't need to go earn some money." he said.
Gil smiled "Fine by me...I think I'll have the 18oz steak and one for Enkidu too...." he said looking at the menu as a pleasant Gria waitress came over to take their order.
Mari frowned "We're not that weird I'm sure but maybe we do look a little odd altogether still it's good fun but I dunno I don't wanna hurt random fiends when they could be my friends" she giggled cuddling her fiends.
Itaka frowned reaching round to stroke her tail as well "You know you could just let Chobi take me if you are struggling so much" he suggested "It's all muscle though babe" he chuckled "All for your entertainment" he said flexing his muscles.
Zadina smiled gleefully "Sure that sounds like great fun if she'd let me but the girls seemed perfectly nice all of them did you know" he said happily "I had great fun with them all" he chirped.

Seph laughed waiting until Chobi was just below them before slipping Itaka gently down onto her back "There you go, don't take it the wrong way but I would rather save most of my energy for the match and all but I know its all muscle so I don't want to see you over exercising and living off icky salads ok" she grinned perching herself down behind him much to Chobi's delight at having passengers again.
Hebal smiled back clapping her hands together with joy "Yay! See you would fit right in if you were to stay some more in my viera village unlike me. The girls are very nice mainly but some can get a little mean when it comes to rivalries and it sometimes gets out of hand. But the majority are all fine and happy and I bet they would welcome you to the forest for the festival coming up"

Felina sighed gazing up to see a second set of steps only about half as wide as the ones they had just climbed "You may not need it but we can still make use of it at some point. Don't think I haven't noticed your wallet stealing tricks" she whispered arranging Cid under one arm so she could use the handrail.
Satoshi smiled and nodded her head with approval "Ooh nice choice you two and hopefully Enkidu can manage something as chewy as that. Hey there miss can we have one cottage pie, 18oz steaks a bottle of wine and a pint of beer" she ordered for them still thinking of what to get Terrato "Oh and also one of the rarest steaks you can cook for my pet"
Yusti rolled her eyes while Mari wasn't looking "Fair enough I guess but some people may want to give it a go. You do look odd together from what I have seen of you though, all different shapes and sizes plus people like Felina that you described would usually not be seen dead hanging around an arena"

Oassu frowned falling in behind Felina now they didn't have room to walk side by side and blushing as Felina pointed it out "Ahhh well...they weren't being that nice anyway" he said
Gil nodded "I'll have mine medium rare and the other steak just medium, quite juicy" he said petting Enkidu happily "Yeah don't worry about him Satoshi, he's a fiend he can live off raw meat if he wanted" he chuckled handing the menu back to the waitress.
Mari nodded "Felina isn't much of a fighter I think, she just likes exploring and it's a necessary trait I'm not actually sure how she joined but she's really important" she giggled "She's part of the reason we're here actually" she said.
Itaka chuckled petting Chobi seeing how happy she was "it's fine don't worry about it "It wouldn't do your pride any good to be put out in the first round after all and you might need to fly a bit in the fight if it's a Gria..." he paused for a moment thinking how entertaining that fight would be "Anyway what can you see up there?" he said kissing the tip of Seph's tail as it dangled before him.
Zadina frowned "I hope rivalries aren't that common" he said "Still I'll be glad to go spend more time at your place but whats the big festival coming up? Is it some local thing?" he asked excitedly.

Seph grinned hugging Itaka from behind "Nah that would be humiliating to go out in the first round before I even get to be slightly noticed but I think it is a gria that I am going to be up against first only its taing way too long to get to my match. I swear someone set me up to be last just to watch me go crazy while waiting around" she groaned wrapping her tail around him.
Hebal giggled shaking her head at Zadina "Nooo silly, the dragon festival isn't far off and thats like a world wide thing. Theres nothing wrong with the odd friendly rivalry and a bit of healthy competition. It's only very very rare that rivalries go nuts and people start attacking eachother rather than competing so don't you go worrying" she smiled letting out a roaring noise trying to make an impression of a dragon.

Felina smiled turning around to give Oassu a hug despite knowing she was towering over him with the help of the extra step "Hehe that is true and I'm not going to tell you off for it today. Afterall it's not clever for tourists to draw attention to themselves particulally when one of the people whos wallet you took is a few yards in front" she whispered turning back around when she noticed Cid covering his face so he didn't have to look at the drop below.
Satoshi handed the menu back to the waitress almost giving her a heart attack as a result of her snake popping his head out from the top of her dress "Sorry about that, he tends to climb up people when he's bored" she quietly apologised trying to settle Terrato down on the seat next to her "I guess your right, unlike this guy Enkidu is well behaved pretty much all of the time, I'll have to ask for pointers on pet discipline" she told Gil leaning across the table to kiss his cheek.
Yusti rubbed her horns listening briefly to a couple of passers by discussing a couple of the days matches "So it's she who is after the gamblers spirit then? But if she isn't a fighter then what role does she have within your group that makes her important? Is she a cook, a maid, a healer or something completely different"

Oassu chuckled burying his face in Felina's tummy in the hug due to the height difference "Cid doesn't seem too keen on all this height" he sighed patting the bunny "Lets get him up and away from this, wouldn't think he'd be scared of it, seemed so eager to explore earlier" he said.
Gil smiled taking Satoshi's hand and kissing it in return as the waitress brought them their wine and two glasses so he poured them some wine "I was wondering where that little guy got to, still Enkidu took a lot of training whereas you said Terrato was bought more or less trained" he chuckled sipping his wine.
Mari nodded "Yep she's a white mage, and she's Oassu's fiancee too" she giggled happily "Her skill with magic is pretty impressive, of course Zadina can do white magic as well somehow..." she frowned wondering about Zadina's powers "But Felina doesn't need a book to do her spells" she said.
Itaka smiled as Chobi kwehhed happy Seph had joined them "You'd rather get it done with then relax huh?" he said putting his arms over Seph's that hugged him "Still a fight against a Gria should make for some cool aerial combat, though you might be a little rusty in aerial swordplay since it's been a while" he murmered.
Zadina giggled imitating Hebal's dragon impression "I guess so, so long as no one upsets Ardie Melanae or Amane....or Yenytai for that matter things should be a-ok" he said.

Seph chuckled moving her tail around to give her happy pet a stroke with it "Heh heh good girl on staying underneith us but I had no plans of dropping Itaka, honest" she told Chobi while she thought over the idea of an aerial battle "I don't think it will be a battle in the air. Unless they are very skilled my strategy is to save the flying for evasion. Air attacks tend to be hard to dodge but if your fast enough and can then it's very easy to counter attack" she stated confidently.
Hebal grinned making one final roar impression then turned around pretending not to know anything about the sounds as people from nearby stalls looked around for the strange person making the silly noises "As if anyone would bother Yenytai when she has a friend like Milly. nobody would dare to upset the friend of a magic pot and if the girls have bonded with them well then I bet nobody would dare to give them much hastle either" she reassured Zadina ruffling his hair.

Felina giggled allowing Cid to clamber up onto Oassu and settle upon his shoulder "I bet he's just getting a case of vertigo since we are going a long way up but I bet the view is awesome at the top" she chirped lazily casting float on herself so she slowly floated up the spiraling steps without even having to move her feet.
Satoshi blushed pouring herself half a glass of wine to start off with "Sure Terrato has been well trained it's just that he gets bored from time to time and when that happens he just likes to explore and play with you just like any other pet does" she defended her snake happy to see he had now settled on the seat and was swaying from side to side in time with the music.
Yusti smiled and nodded in approval at Mari's description of Felina "Ahh I see, that is a rather useful member to have in your group after all. White mages in these parts are some of the most well payed due to a lack of gria who study any magic let alone the healing stuff but... isn't she one of the elf royals? Seems odd she's going with a thief but I'll just not ask, I've accepted your all weirdos" she reased.

Oassu smiled glancing over at Cid getting comfy on his shoulder "Bet he's never been this high before, none of us really have, maybe one day you'll be able to bounce this high little guy" he said patting Cid.
Gil chuckled at Terrato's movement "Likes to dance doesn't he?" he said "Lucky pets being treated to big proper meals" he said scratching his chin while he sipped his wine "Why did you want a snake anyway? Are you fond of reptiles and stuff?" he asked.
Mari frowned "We're not all weirdo's but yeah she's very nice too so is Oassu so it's not that odd they got together, they've known each other longest too to my knowledge" she said playing patty-cake with Sophia who was getting bored.
Itaka nodded "Well you'd know best I guess, maybe someday I'll be able to fly like you, would make for an interesting new way of fighting" he said imagining an aerial battle "Still anyway I've got faith you'll be fine but remember the Gria can pursue you if you do decide to take to the air to dodge." he hinted.
Zadina giggled at Hebal's behaviour "I hope so but the people in the village might not be fond of Milly and Yenytai, I wonder what your mother would say...anyway they seemed nice so I'm sure they'll have great fun." he said decisively
