Cassie bit her tongue. Was she suddenly seeing Dani in as different light. Quick Cassie do something before Dani thinks you're totally weird and trying to hit her.
" Ha!Ha! Ha! Gotcha."
Whew! Yeah Dani would just blow it off as a joke right? I mean besides it's not like Cassie had a crush on Dani... Dani with her beautiful smile and perfect dancer's body, the person she could talk to about anything... even things she wouldn't tell Chris. No..no... no way. Besides Cassie was dating Chris right?

Chris nodded. He focused on what he saw and his younder self began to become clearer. "Hey I think this is working." The image of his younger self began to move. "We should follow him...er...me..."
Chris and raven had been walking for what seemed an hour and the building wasn't getting any closer. The suddenly the younger Chris disappeared and everything went quiet. Chris froze, "This can't be good."
Almost as soon as he spoke the ground began to shake. What looked like a giant spiked worm emerged from the sand. It roared revealing a mouth of razor sharp teeth. "I don;t suppose this is your doing?" Chris asked already knowing the answer.

"Aw Cass! Your being such a Great Friend!"
*Gives her a hug, Laughing at her joke happily, having no idea what was on her friends mind.*
"And you gave me the best idea!! If I wanna remember Wally as my boyfriend! Then I need to be romantic!"
She gets up pacing back and forth trying to remember!
"So If Wally Asked me out for Homecoming... Then I need to ask him out to .. PROM!" Frumps back on her bed... "But That's soo far off... I think i'll just ask him to Blackhawks for a burger instead."
Then thinks...
"Make that like 10 burgers... I specifically remember him eating a lot...."

The comment about dying didn't make him feel any better. The monster lunged at him. Barely dodging Chris shot a blast of heat vision at it, It didn't do much. if anything it just made the giant worm even more angry,

" Well speedsters do eat alot... but I wouldn't exactely call Blackhawks romantic..... But we can make romantic. Dim the lights... get some candlelight... maybe some music. You know Hartley plays some great songs on his flute. "
Thank god Dani didn't catch Cassie's little error.. or was it an error. Cassie felt a small pain in her chest as she was talking about getting Wally and Dani back together... Was it her crush on Wally a while back? Or was she actually developing romantic feelings for Dani? And where did that leave her and Chris?

Raven put up a shield to defend against the massive beast.

"Sorry A bit too terrified to concentrate right now!" he swung at the beast. The worm went flying back and landed on the ground with a large thud. It burrowed down into the sand.
"Ha! Think it away you say! All it needed was a good punch to the face." Chris began to brush all the sand off his clothes. "Some times it's easier than it seems." He flashed a cocky smile at Raven. Just then the worm burst out from the sand beneath Chris devouring him whole.

As Cassie spoke Dani went to change into her Pj's, a tank and some old shorts she didn't use as much. All the while she was daydreaming of the perfect date, filled with laughs and happiness.
She looked to Cassie smiling.
"I think it will be great. But your right about Blackhawks...."
She pondered, picturing other students being loud and annoying on her date. She needed someplace better. But then yawned.
"I don't know about you and that Amazon strength of yours... But I think i need some sleep..."
Suddenly all of the excitement had gotten to her and she was feeling very drained. She she crawled into her bed, pulling the covers over her self.
Turning to her side she looked at Cassie. She seemed a little distracted.... She's have to ask her what's up in the morning when she could give her more time.
"Maybe tomorrow, we could hang, after all it's the weekend. We can talk and stuff. Like old times."

*Chris picked up the remains of the pizza party. He babbled at aimlessly at Wally while he did.*
Those girls can pack away some pizza.
*Cassie had seemed distant all night. She wasn't even as jazzed about the Spamalot tickets as he thought she would be.*
Too bad they didn't stay for clean up.
*He had to gifts for her for Christmas...the sappy one and the fun one. He had planned on giving her both but maybe he should withhold the sappy one. Something seemed wrong with her but he couldn't put his finger on it. It almost felt like she was pulling away from him....*
I'm gonna take this out to the dumpster. And maybe stop by the gym or something. Later, dude.
*Chris was covering up his worries from Wally. No need to drag anyone else in this. Chris dropped the trash in the dumpster outside and started walking. The walks were shovel but soon Chris was heading towards his favorite spot on campus, the lake.*

With that Cassie went to the bathroom and took a bubble bath. She needed to clear her head and there was no better place to do that then a hot soak in the tub. Did she love Chris? Or was the only reason she kept going back to him guilt? When they started dating she only did it out of curiousity... an experiment. Still Chris was sweet... he would go though hell for her. That and he was her first... But...still... Mmm... the bath was so relaxing

Chris heard Raven yell from the outside as he tried to stop himself from from being swallowed. As raven yelled he could feel the monster weaken. Right this thing isn't real. He tried to tell himself. He began to focus on that fact. He could feel the monster getting significantly weaker and he burt out from its side.
The monster began to roar in pain and squirmed on the ground. Chris hovered in the air focusing on the fact that he was in control. The worm faded from existence. "I think it's really gone this time. We should keep going."

Dani soon drifted off to sleep, the sound of the water helped her relax, while Witchblade curled around Dani's form once again communicating with her mind. It was Dani and the Witchblade in the form of a princess, in an Indian Castle.
"Oh what? No bloodied battle field this time?" Dani asked peeved once again by the intrusion."I am here to help you Danielle Baptiste." "How? Come to traumatize me some more?"
"No. Your mind has been fractured, altered. I wish to make you whole again." "How can you do that? I tried. I don't remember him!" She was growing frustrated.
"They Altered your Memories, Danielle, They Can Not alter ours." "I-I can't...." Dani Whsipered. "It will be just like before. Like watching a movie. I'd have no real emotinal connection to it what so ever."
"If that is what you wish..." "Yes, Thank you. But I need to remember this on my own. I owe Wally that much...."
And with that the scene change once more into Dani's usual dreams and nightmares.

*Chris shoved his hands in his coat and stared at the ice covered lake. Kids had been skating on it all day but he was never good at that. He was on his a** more than his feet. It began to snow again as he contemplate Cassie again.
If she was pulling away, why? Did he do something wrong? How could he fix it? Being more romantic just drove her away but the idea of giving her space didn't seem right either. Could it even be fixed? He knew people thought they should just be done with it and go their separate ways but he loved Cassie. But maybe she didn't love him. He knew he should trust her, especially after everything they'd been through but some insecurities were hard to beat. Chris sighed.*
Ugh...why can't this be a movie with a Christmas angel who tells me what to do?
