Vene held out the bowl of pasta to her, it was half gone. "Here...I bet your hungry." he blushed a bit.

She smiled, taking the bowl.
"well come on inside..." She jumped up, at closer inspection there was a hole at the bottom of the tree with a ladder in it.
Romano walked twords the house.

Jeannette chuckled and set the bowl down.
"My parents died when I was one.. Ever since, no one would take me in. So I just kind of learned how to cope.. living on my own."
Romano looked at her sympathetically.
"That's horrible..."

Romano laughed.
"So how'd it happen?"
Jeannette pulled her kness up to her chin, wrapping her arms around them.
"They were killed by the Kyuubi/ Nibi fight a few years back....."

Vene looked right at her with his mouth agape. "You mean Kamito-kun and Yumi-chan killed your parents? Thats..bad!" He leaned in right by her knees shocked. "Atleast you survived!" he smiled.

"Yes but no one really notices. I'm the orphan that's basically useless... I know two med. Jutsu's and three ninjutsu's... I suck at tai...."

"I only know one genjustu so you got me beat...I suck at everything but Genjustu!" He fiddled with the end of his scarf. "I-I should get home..It's getting late and my first class at the academy is tomorrow."
