noir_kama I got the cat in the box one, not so much the other XD Errr... go to Nano then. He lives there now, owns a sword shop an all that jazz. Well the playing poker was just thrown on. Laplace's Demon, (a hypothetical entity now disproven) had been theorized as an entity that could now the location of every single atom within the universe, and as such also knew everything in the past and future. So playing poker with it, it'd constantly know what's in your hand. And I think I'll finally have Tamao head to Nano before too much longer as well, then, since I still haven't learned it from you yet either.

Lol sounds good, it should distract you guys from me starting to take over the world.
Hmm interesting thing I noticed, since I'm taking one of my good characters hostage I can start the takeover since I only need one evil person to takeover a village it's just of matter of having a large enough group with at least one evil person.

Well, if you want to rule the world, that's fine and dandy. Just don't expect your henchmen to do the paperwork for you. After all, passing new laws, request forms, inventories, new policies, contracts and more; paperwork is all that will await you.

noir_kama Yeah it does kill people pretty bad, like how are you going to fight 1000s of blades at once... oh yeah you can't.lol. I like to have it for my Darkness Armor, makes some nice shade, yah know? LOL! Anyways I am off to work.. Rawr to you ^__^

Imagine a jutsu that causes the user to believe their life shinobi life is a lie, and actually live in a normal mundane world, were they must work day in and day out just to make a living....and their only solace is rping a Naruto Rpg....wait I think I'm in that jutsu...REAL LIFE! Gah! Talk about a spirit killer.

A NARA shadow can grab a non-physical being because it doesn't grab the object itself, it grabs their shadow.
Unless your saying that even though someone is intangible (yet still visible) in broad daylight while trapped in a cage that holds even intangible objects inside (though I admit the going into the ground thing was a bit of a loop for me) that he doesn't cast a shdow... in which case, go study the properties of a shadow in applied sciences again. There is not an object in the known world that doesn't cast a shadow

Well if yah wanna get all school book sciencey...
theres no such thing as a cage that holds something intangible. You can't put an idea in a box, impossible.
Also an intangible object is by definition intangible right? And just about everthing passes through it correct? In theory an intangible object is a form of non matter or matter that's so far spaced apart that things just go through the gaps... in that case an intangible object wouldn't have a shadow, the light would just pass through the intangible object technically an intangible object is also invisible as it wouldn't reflect light there for would have no color to us. >_> but yeah that's just science absolute science has never applied to naruto. But yeah if you could see an intangible person, them ummm yep they technically wouldn't be intangible as the light was reflecting off of them and they would cast a shadow.
Though on the matter of how a Nara's shadow connects I'm pretty sure it's something that only works on humans, it's more of a chakra linkage thing like Ino's technique, but just in a different medium. Chakra can manifest a shadow and make it three dimensional so it grab and attach things, but that's cleary not something you can explain with science XD
oh and water, water fails to cast a shadow for the most part.

Noir: Actually water casts a shadow more clearly than most things, it's shadow is just white and not black because of it.
And intangible just means without form thus gas is intangible so a human becoing intangible=never gonna happen
