dignified disease Bunny_Man_OC dignified disease after fighting with my router, nothing. i know what i have to do but i cant DO it. i need to set up a static IP for my DS and then put that in this one spot to bypass the firewall WHICH I TURNED OFF but it doesnt turn off all the way. i cant do this. ive been playing with the manual config setting for going on an hour and i have no ******** idea how to make them work. i called customer service, they put me on hold and hung up on me.
I might be able to help... oh? at this point, i am pessimistic. i dont even know where to start. my routers firewall is getting in the way of things.
for that you can make a socket passthrouh where you can rediriect connections trying to access a specific socket...
but first I really should ask what your trying to do exactly?

but... how would setting your PC to a static IP fix that, your DS doesn't connect to your PC at all. and routers already have static IPs, at leats on our side, and thats all that matters.
so when you do the connection test, the test succeeds?

so when you do the connection test, the test succeeds?to answer all that: yes, connection tests are fine, i can connect to wifi, just not anything to do with palpad. i want to set a static IP to my DS because then i can bypass the router firewall with it, which is what is causing the issue.

well I can't help you with setting a static IP to your DS... if it were your comp I could help, but don't know anything about setting IPs on the DS, sorry XD
