I listened to Shadow and Tyrn talk for a while as I ate my cake, the servants knew me too well, this did cheer me up. "Impending war, lost loves, crazy back history" I listed off as I sipped from my glass. "Don't you guys talk about anything upbeat anymore? I remember when this place was all parties and your 'Head of Security' position was a little useless" I said to Shadow laughing through it, "now we live in a dismal house."

"There is nothing really good worth talking about on my end Vicki. the only good thing happening to me is that I am still alive right now." he said with a sigh as he grabed his half full glass of blood and drank what was left in it. "You do know that I accepted the position because that there was nothing happeneing here. No one ever caused that much trouble in the past I have been at war for far to long to keep be looking on the bright side of thing." he added.
"My first wife... we never got on until we found out she was carrying a child. We were wed to strengthen the bonds of our two clans. She died because she came to support my army and I was helpless to stop any of it. I can still hear the screams. How could you block that out?" he said as he forced the thoughts from his mind. "Cassidy, the one in the coma was the woman that was helping me heal from my past wounds but she can't help me now. Only my recent ex-wife is around here." he siad to tyrn

Nadea popped in behind Shadow, leaning against the back of his chair. "Good evening gentlemen...." her unearthly charm on full blast this evening, she felt pretty damn good seeing as how she drunk herself under the table the night before.

"Those who do not show regret or pain are not truly people. I will introduce you to Cassidy when she wakes up. things always look up in the Tyrn, never forget that, other wise you will go crazy." he said to Tyrn with a half smile.
"Evening Nadea. You look as if you have no hang over at all. Lucky you." he said as he cracked his neck.
"I think we are all running out of conversational material Vickilyn. It happens... usualy a time before the enemy strikes, I have seen it before on many ocasions. They are much closer now Vickilyn. Possibly only days away." he said to Vicki.

"Yes you have made a good point Shadow." Tyrn said as he looked to the Newcomer shadow called Nadea. "Hello there. I do not believe we have met before. My name is Tyrn Falin. It is nice to meet you." Tyrn said to her as he smiled. He looked at Vicki then. "I agree with Shadow. Times get tense when people are getting ready for battles. I have hosted a great many deal of young vampires going to battle that talked and joked very little as they prepared." Tyrn said encouragingly.

"Yeah I realize that now. out of all my years i havent even thought of that." Tyrn said with a laugh. He got his glass and drank a little of it as he thought of Shadows advice.

"Sometime, we just run out of things to say. By this point, most of the things that need to be said have been said. We can only keep each other company during our time before everythign happens." he said with a sigh. "So... any one for jousting?" he added randomly, he wasn't serious, he just wanted to make a rapid change the subject quickly. No one needed to get tense over things that were not here yet.

Soliloquy walks through the front gates thinkng to herself, ~what a big house~, she goes through the front door and stops in the front hall,~ wow this place is magnificent~, she hollers out,
"Hello? Is anyone here?"
