She grabbed ahold of him. "now.. I didnt say that." she pulled him close. "exactly the opposite."
She clung onto him still staying behind him. "Matt..." she was a little scared of his dad after hearing all the things that had happened. She didn't like him, not at all.

A boggan came iinto the kitchen to let Kia Know Matt's parents were in the house... wanting to make sure no trouble happened, Kia went up the back stars and stayed jus out of sight, but near enough to intercede if necessary.
