Chieftain Twilight Maerua Chieftain Twilight Maerua Nariana While that'd be pretty amusing, what would it add to the story? For one, it can rise the tension between Nariana and Sabe. Second, Twi has his own plotline going on, and solo plotlines do need to intertwine with others at some point; otherwise it'll seem like he's just playing with himself. Third, the more the merrier. smile couldn't have said it better myself. ^_^ I like the idea of the tensions flying. Twi is kinda like a villain in a sense... he's what the anti-hero would be if he were the antagonist. THE ANTI-VILLAIN! biggrin I find the terms anti-hero and anti-villain too vague. I prefer the axis of heroic-villainous | protagonist-antagonist. (My backspace fell off for the second time now. It might be just because it's getting warmer, because I don't see any problem with the brackets...) fair enough. I just wanted to be funny and make up a word. also, damn.. that sucks. I've been spending the past year and a half with a laptop that has no X button. I just press the little itty-bitty circle-peg underneath the button. I've gotten so used to it that it doesn't even slow me down anymore. xd But anti-villain is a phrase that gets used a lot... and damn it it's the third time now. I think it's just happening when I hit the left side of it. But it's pissing me off and I'd never get used to hitting the rubber peg (the peg's more of a sharp-ish point and my fingertips are hypersensitive following what I think was either a bad case of wintertime eczema or shingles).

All over TVTropes of course If I ever see a doctor again I'll ask about it because it is annoying. I'm thankful that the red splotches and bumps cleared up, although my right hand's fingertips are still discolored from it. As for the Star Wars game, the past two sessions got cancelled because of the DM's irl stuff, but other than that it's good. We're apparently bulldozing enemies 5 levels higher than us even with half of us rolling like crap. If my character kicks the bucket (since I'm not an optimizer by any means) I'm making a mute character or a Jawa because I'm already ticked off by how persuasion/deception gets handled (I basically have to convince the DM every goddamn time, and my socially inept self can't do it; my character has a solid 18 CHA and 19 ranks in both Deception and Persuasion so rolls alone could carry me).

I even give pointers if the character has better skill bonus than what they are saying would imply. but other than that (and the obvious unbalance of character level to challenge they defeat easily) I am glad to know it's going good. smile my own Star Wars game hit a snag as far as scheduling new sessions goes, but it just started getting REALY good! biggrin I'm excited, because the drama has finally started kicking in. one of the characters is already dieing, and I have it planned that the players will have to toss his dieing body out into the vacuum of space to die in order to prevent countless needless deaths... heartwrenching situation, inspired by, of all things, a children's cartoon show. ._. TV shows are kinda ******** up nowadays...

I'm just gonna have to jimmy-rig this key with a piece of string. It doesn't stop it from popping off but at least it'll be easier to take the bracket off so I can replace it.
On second thought, I should probably just swap its keymap with caps lock seeing how I only use caps lock when playing Morrowind lol.
Edit 2: Works lovely! And capslock is a more convenient spot for backspacing too. I just got to get used to it.

In Morrowind I always seem to roll up a Breton for any build that isn't strictly combat (Resistance to magic is kind of important when you're after the Boots of Blinding Speed..). For combat characters I pick Redguard or Imperial, or rarely an Argonian. Right now I'm playing a Breton thief and enjoying picking people off with a bow. Magic is fun but not in combat, and melee is just *miss**miss*miss* lol. But I use a crapload of mods to change stuff in the game, like a crafting system, player houses, race and birthsign adjustments (which makes Redguards an interesting if inefficient spellcasting choice when combined with the Atronach birthsign), loads of clothing, graphics updates, main quest expansions, etc.

I'm a sandboxer. I play Dark Elves and Orcs because they have awesome backstory, and Nords are kinda coolio, too. none of the others realy seem that interesting to me, although Wood Elves are a curiosity. reverse veggitarians! xd the don't eat any plant matter, only meat! they smoke grubs, for gods' sake!

The birthsigns are available to everyone by default. The only stuff that changed were adding in some powers. As far as race mods go, they heavily based it on lore whether it came from Daggerfall, Arena, some of the Morrowind in-game book fluff, and other canon sources. It makes player characters a little more powerful but there are mods that let NPCs benefit from the exact same things (which can get dangerous). If I find the game too easy I adjust the difficulty slider since it's still fairly low. After I get a daedric bow from that one quest I'll turn it up more. I can't be arsed to play an Orc or a Khajit or a High Elf; Orc isn't that appealing (I love the Personality and Agility attributes waaaay too much...), Khajit look worse than Argonians and I'll pass on the High Elves because I almost never play full mage especially ones with magic weaknesses. I should post a screenshot of my current character, Lace...although her garb's pretty skimpy and most likely out of place lol (have 2 mods that added bikini-style top, long loincloth, thigh-high stockings, and heeled boots). I might try rolling a Wood Elf or Nord next time but idk; don't have enough good face mods for them yet.

I might try rolling a Wood Elf or Nord next time but idk; don't have enough good face mods for them yet. fair enough. after all, the best part is setting the difficulty to what you feel comfortable with. smile by the way, my Orc's highest skill was Speech on my save file. =w= so it's not impossible. and Orcs have a tie with Dark Elves for THE BEST history in Elder Scrolls, in my opinion. but yeh, that outfit you described sounds awesome. real similar to how I dress alot of my Soul Caliber 3 Dancer Class characters. xd anywho, I wanna geek out about D&D real quick, if yo don't mind. whee so, we started up a campaign in my friend Ben's homebrew world, Angstasia (where bad puns go to die). we started at level 10 for this, and gained our first level tonight after a 3 and a half hour battle against a quasi-god Saving-Throw-Munchkin. my character is a Bard 4/ Barbarian 2/ Skald 4 with the Lingering Song, Chant of Fortitude and Ironskin feats, as well as Obscure Lore and Knowledge in History, Arcana, Religion and Nature. his Bardic Knowledge is +17, and his Diplomacy is +22 (well, +23 now, but I'll get to that in a sec). see, he can use his Bardic Music while raging, and his bardic music effects last 7 + cha modifier rounds after he's done setting them up (that's 10 rounds at a time right now). with 8 daily uses of them, he can stack effects like nobody's business. what's more, he can use Bardic Music to grant DR 4/- and prevent people from dieing even at -10 HP (and they auto stabilize if below 0 HP). I now gave him a level of Cleric, with the Chaos and Travel Domains. but what I plan to do with him next is not get him any more levels of Cleric at all. I'm gonna get 5 Levels of Druid (to get access to Wild Shape), and 8 levels of Geomancer, while getting the Domain Spontaneity feat twice (once for each domain) and the Natural Spell feat, then get 5 levels of Warshaper. domain spontaneity allows me to use Turn Undead attempts (I have 6/day and that will soon go up) to spontaneously cast a domain spell from ANY divine spell slot of equal or higher level. I have to designate a domain when I take the feat, so I will have to get it once for each domain. the Natural Spell feat allows me to cast spells even when transformed into a form that can't speak normally, by substituting the creature/animal's sounds for verbal components. the Warshaper class is just all kinds of fun. ultimate shapeshifting versatility. I can AT WILL add a natural attack as a move action or increase the size (and therefore damage) of a natural weapon that I have (these include tail slams, horn gores, claws, bites, whatever). there is NO LIMIT on my ability to use this ability! O_O just takes an itty bit of time. the Geomancer class, however, is amazing. so, I get what's called "Spell Versatility Level", which is essential 0 at 1st level and goes up by one at every level. what this does is it allows me to blur the lines between my spellcasting classes up to spells of the level of my Spell Versatility Level. spells of that level and below count as having all the effects of any of my spellcaster effects, so me being a Bard/Cleric/Druid I can cast all my Bard AND my Cleric and Druid Spells spontaneously without preparing them. I also can substitute any Bard, Cleric or Druid spell slot to cast a Cure or Summon Nature's Ally spell of equal or lower level. AND I can also spend a Turn Undead attempt to substitute any Bard, Cleric or Druid spell slot to cast a Domain Spell of equal or lower level. pretty nifty, huh? the Geomancer also gets +1 level to a spellcasting class I already have at each gained level. I am gonna put the first 4 towards Druid spellcasting (to get up to 5th level Druid spells) and the next 4 in Bard (to get up to 4th level Bard Spells). by the way, 5th level Travel Domain spell is Teleport. =w= I will also have a leftover feat to get Diehard by the time I get all this, so he can survive longer so as to keep the party alive while doing all his bullshit. as well as he gets Fast Healing 2 and the ability to increase his reach by 5ft at a time as a move action among other fun things. epically stupid-awesome, or what!? mrgreen
