"Don't think about the problem. Forget about how far away you two are. If you can love this guy 120%, then you should. Think about how nice it is to be with him. There's a story behind the Tanabata festival. The weaving princess and the cow herder love each other, but they are separated by a river of stars. They're only allowed to meet each other once a year, but they make the most out of it. And I have to disagree about how you can't know a person through emails. If you can learn a little something about the person you love each day and put that in your heart, then eventually he will be in your heart and you will be in his. It'll take some effort, but if you forget the bad stuff and surround yourself with the good feelings, then the only way I can describe it is true love. You'll naturally want him to be happy, and he'll return those feelings."

"I know, and I'm trying really hard, but when we were still officially 'internet dating', we lasted like.... not even six months, it was just so hard. We still talk regularly, and he'll always be special. It's just unrealistic to expect to see each other anytime soon. I mean, after high school is college, and we'll be really lucky to end up close to each other then. And after college, we're not gonna have any money to get ourselves where we want to be."

"If you're worried about money, I've been taking a business class. I can teach you some of the investing strategies that I learned. Just don't give up like this. Just take things one step at a time. Even if it takes years after college to be with that guy, all that work that you would do up to that point is worth the time you two are together. I mean it's better than feeling loneliness and regret."

I mean it's better than feeling loneliness and regret." "It's not so much money that I'm worried about, but, as a freshman in high school, I don't have much of it. But, I really have no freedom, right? I can't go places. So it'll be a long time, but it's not something I'm worried about. I worked myself into this situation, and it's taking me some time to come back to a levle where everyting is comfortable and stable."
