*Amiko's ghost slowly started dissapearing. she wimpered and stared at Caesar* Caesar, i love you...Never forget that..i'll talk to my mother...and see if i can come back....My love...don't forget, that i love you. more then anything.

"No! Don't go! I love you.............," he curled into a ball feeling miserable. He felt like the whole world was crashing around him. He didn't care if he died and didn't feel like life was worth going on.

Vera barked happily as Mist returned and rushed past her to comfort her pups. "You're back! What happened to you and the others?" She watched Storm sulkily lope her way towards their cave as well, she could ask her and leave Mist be if she was tired. They didn't seem harmed...
She turned to Mist and smiled, watching the happy reunion of mother and pups for a few moments. She sighed then left to guard the cave entrance and give Mist time alone with her children.
Vera puzzled silently over what could have happened all this while, wondering if everyone was going to make it back now that there seemed to be a resolution.

Caesar knew he would like that but he was afraid they wouldn't be able too if Amiko didn't come back.
BlackRain came out and went to Caesar,"Are you ok? I can get you something to eat."
Caesar shook his head and curled up tighter.
"Atleast get out of the rain Caesar," BlackRain felt his grief.
"No. I'm not leaving this spot till Amiko is back,"his grief keeps cutting through him like a knife. He felt a lump in his throat and his heart ached with loneliness.

"Caesar."
"Don't do this. Would Amiko want you to? Come in here and get warm."
Fate said as he stood in the rain just outside of the cave. He kept a warm smile just in case if Caesar turned.

Storm walked over and sat by Caesar. The rain didn't bother her. As she sat there, her mouth stayed shut. There was no need to talk.

Too curious to wait longer, Vera lifted her muzzle to the raining sky and howled out a strong, low note that rose and then fell again. She barked once sharply and turned back into the cave a bit more to avoid the spray of rain when the wind stirred.
Ruby eyes watched the treeline across the lagoon impatiently wanting the others to return and to see if Fate was okay. She'd gone through al this trouble, the least he could do was come back and let his new family know he was safe. She huffed a sigh and sat back on her haunches to wait it out.

Caesar looked at Fate,"I'm fine. The rain won't kill me."
He didn't want to leave and felt like nothing mattered as long as Amiko was gone.

Fate nodded. You can't get everyone.
Turning he listen to the howl of Vera and smiled brightly at her. Upon entering the cave he shook his fur and wings off abit and then crawled up in a ball to get warm.
Zyth went over and licked his father's face wounds gently. "Daddy... that was cool."
Fate smiled and looked down at his little son.
"Yeah.. it was. Wasn't it."

Dawnfire ran over to he father wide-eyed,"Why are you hurt? What happened daddy?"
Mist licked fates muzzle and nuzzled under his head.
