An overall average-looking girl siddled in, moving along the wall. She disliked speaking in front of crowds, preferring her written words to do any speaking. Sadly, she had not been permitted to write anything for the audience to read. Moving to the front, the 16 year old American forced back the blush that threatened to make her cheeks glow.
Once at the front, the young woman cleared her throat, visibly nervous. "Umm... hi," she began weakly. "I'm Emily... But I truly prefer Diddle." She stopped again. "Uh... I love writing. I have since sixth grade. I've attempted a novel, and I've written lots of poems and a few short stories. Music, video games, and my computer are my reality checks. (Weird, huh?) I'm a bandie, a player of clarinet. I'm a utter loser and a proud one at that. I'm not one to keep my opinions to myself, though I don't much like offending others. Just so you know, don't mess with my friends. I'll have to respond and you wouldn't like how I do it..." Another pause as she pushed her glasses back on to the bridge of her nose. "Well, uh... I was born in Michigan after my parents moved from Oklahoma for my dad's work... But when I was six we moved to Tennessee. So yeah... I'll uh... stop babbling on..." Her blush triumphed and lit up her cheeks as she left the front and quickly made her way to the back to sit.

Yeah we're all friends around here ^_^, so be yourself around here, and rant all you want. We even have areas just to rant in itself. But wow your parents lived in Oklahoma? I live in Oklahoma ^_^, lol and my sister tracy has just moved to Tennessee, she's in Oakridge lol.. small town...
Anyways, hope you have fun here, we have areas where you can put your rps, and everything else. Oh even areas to talk about music, I am sure we have people here that are in band/orchestra and everything else lol.

Hi, I'm new here, to Gaia Online in general and Barton Town was too wild for me, and this guild seemed nice, cool, fun, so I applied, so I could start off joining a smaller, nicer community before anything else razz .
And I was just accepted, so I thought I'd introduce myself before doing anything else biggrin . So, um, hi? sweatdrop

Greetings fair wanderer! Lol well there's nothing bad about being new to gaia, we actually have quite some oldies here, and there's also some of us who are from age 03, and 04 (04 myself) so if you ever need some help looking around, we can always sway you towards the right way. As for the guild, lol I do hope you find comfort here, and glad that you made it one of your stops ^_^. Hope you have fun, and perhaps even join a few rps, I know it'd make a few people happy ^_^

A short, raven haired, pale blue eyed young woman trips onto the room, hissing a string of curses at her clumsiness. She looks up to see all eyes on her and she immediately reddens.
"Oh, sorry. Hi." she mumbles before hurrying to a seat with her head downcast. The eyes seem to follow her and she looks back up. "Oh...apparently it's my turn."
She pauses in the act of sitting and straightens, clearing her throat and shifting her feet. "I'm Belle and I hate speaking in front of crowds. I hate crowds period..." Her eyes dart around the room, scanning the crowd she has found herself in.
Visibly shaking herself from her reverie, she rolls her shoulders and speaks up. "I'm from Arkansas..." A glare. "No jokes." She pauses to make sure they heed her words.
"I like reading, writing, basketball, tennis, swimming, sketching, singing and running. I don't like arrogance, crowds, or shallow spoons." A shrug. "That's about it..."
She takes a seat and sticks Ipod earphones in her ears and slumps in her seat.

Welcome to the guild Belle! I hope you have a wonderful time here, and sounds like you are a really out going person. Nothing like dribbling the old ball and making a shot or two. Lol anyways, you know what? Since you just joined the guild you became part of the crowd! Oh no! Lol does that mean you dislike yourself? Please don't, we're a great crowd, and that includes you, so lol hopefully your opinion of crowds will change ^_^ (okay I am corny, I know it XD)
