Give ran around franticallly, hoping that the male hadn't gotten too far away from them. He just hoped that the other wasn't in any danger. Give trembled, and looked back to Kind. He sighed, and hugged the other tightly, pressing his forhead against the other's chest.
"Kind...i don't know. I;m worried about him..."
Give said quietly, and closed his eyes as he just tried to summon all of his energy to find the other. He needed something..anything. A clue. A sign. Give backed away from Kind and took his hand.
"There's no way to get to Greed in time..no way."
Give said, but then stopped in his tracks. He saw that familiar figure, Greed, walking down the street at a hurried pace.
Greed had sensed that Envy was in trouble, that something was very wrong. He hated being outside around people, but Envy was in trouble.
Give pulled Kind along, and ran to follow Greed, seeing him lead them basically right to where Envy was. Give didn't get too close to Greed, since he knew the other would have a fit.

The guys gathered completely around Envy and backed him into a walked. "Come on! We'll even pay you a little...or you can refuse and we'll take it for free. Take you pick little man." The guy Grabbed Envy by the shoulders and pushed him hard against the wall, probably enough to bruise his back.
Envy yelped as he was pushed into the wall. He wasn't ready for these guys like he was with the ones with Greed. He was started to get scared. He wasn't sure what he could do now that they already had him held down. "Was this what Greed felt like? Envy gritted his teeth, but then he yelled out until his lungs were sore. "GREED!"

Greed panted as he ran, his dark locks falling across his eyes and shoulders as he didn't stop. Even Give and Kind had trouble keeping up with the other. Greed was frantic, and there was no way that he was going to lose Envy, or that anyone was going to hurt him. The right to be intimate with Envy was a right that only he alone had. Greed heard the scream, and his eyes went wide. He rushed over and followed that voice, and drew his gun and ran, taking a knife as well as he saw the men. That scum...those filthy animals. Greed's eyes were raged, and Greed lunged at one, slicing his throat before grabbing the other, smashing his head against the brick as he watched the blood trickle down and the other fall limp tothe ground.
Greed then grabbed the last one, and smirked as he grabbed him by his hair and pulled him off of Envy.
"You humans are so disgusting."
Greed said, and pointed the gun between his eyes, pulling the trigger as he tossed the body aside and pocketed the gun. Greed then looked to Envy, his eyes returning to normal, and saddned as he drew the other into his arms, holding him close as he rubbed his back.
"Envy..i'm so sorry i wasn't there for you.."

Envy had started to cry long before Greed had gotten there. He watched in shock as he saw Greed kill the men. Actually, he was shocked to see Greed at all. He had gotten blood on Envy from the split throat of the one man. He cringed and squeezed his eyes closed when Greed shot the last man. He thought that for a moment he had seen the old Greed again. He continued to cry when Greed was done. He allowed himself to be pulled into Greed's arms and looked up at him. "But Greed you are here for me...right now...."

Greed knew that maybe killing them right in front of Envy wasn't such a hot idea, but he couldn't help it. He couldn't bare to see Envy in the same position that he had been in, and Greed would do anything to prevent that. He clutched Envy close, sighing as he kissed his cheek and held him against his body, knowing that if he was in his arms then he was safe.
"I know...and i promise i won't let anyone hurt you."
Greed whispered, and kissed his forhead, his hand gently rubbing Envy's back. Greed would always protect the kid, no matter how much he got on his nerves at times, and no matter how bad their life was at times. Greed did care about the other, very much, and he would always be there for him. Greed brushed his thumb over his tears, catching them as they fell.
Give had watched the entire scene with Kind, and he smiled softly as he saw that Greed did have emotions other than just what they had been brought up to believe. Give knew that Greed cared about Envy as much as he cared about Kind, and he smiled to himself. Give looked to Envy, and wiggled his fingers in a wave, and he then took Kind's hand once more.
"Let's leave them..i don't want Greed to get any more upset than he already is."

Envy waved goodbye to Give and then looked up at Greed. "Greed. Why are you out here walking around? I thought you didn't want to be around any people...and I thought you were relaxing. Are you still nervous to be around people? Or are you ok now?" Envy really didn't understand the healing process of people. Envy was always good at getting hurt and then bouncing right back. He just wanted Greed to be healed so badly that he really couldn't wait.
Kind nodded and followed Give. "So you really think Greed will be ok? I heard you two talking...and that's something that awfully hard to get over...Envy's still young, I'm not sure he's mature enough to handle helping him cope. He's used to seeing everyone, especially Greed in one way. This is a big change, I'm not sure his heart can handle it. How can we be sure that in trying to fix Greed he won't in fact become broken himself?" He thought about what he was saying and groaned. "Damn it! I'm starting to worry about that little brat!" Kind was starting to like the idea of not having to complete any missions. He liked traveling through this world

Greed glanced over his shoulder as he saw Envy wave at someone, and he vaugely saw the red hair from who he thought was...Give? And Kind? Greed didn't say anything, and looked more worried than anything else. Greed didn't know why they had been there, nor did he know why Envy..had waved to them. Greed sighed, and held Envy close. He listened to Envy, and winced as he nodded.
"I..i'm still not comfortable. But i knew you were in trouble. That's..the only reason i came out."
Greed said, and sighed as he heard Envy ask if he was ok. Greed didn't know how to tell Envy that he was not ok, and that what had happened to him wasn't somethign to get over in a snap. Greed just sighed, and looked to the side, that sorrowful look in his eyes. No one could understand his pain, could they?
Give glanced over to Kind, and sighed. He shook his head at the question.
"No...i know Greed's not ok. He saw us, and he almost looked fearful instead of having that glare. His entire aura seemed so sad and so..broken. I know Envy doesn't know how to help him since he's so young and so new to everything."
Give said, and then smiled softly as he heard the other speak about caring about him.
"Yea, you are. But i think you care about Greed a bit too since you asked about him."
Give said, and nudged the other with a small chuckle, but he just leaned his head against his shoulder.
"I'm worried about both of them. Greed, as much as he doesn't want to admit it, cares about Envy so much that he just might break as well. If Envy can't understand or grasp it, then Greed might just become worse."

Envy sighed , but then he smiled. "Oh well...I'm sure you'll be ok when you rest some more right? I'm glad you came to get me, even though you were afraid..." He was feeling the exhaustion from his day and he looked up at Greed. "Greed, can we go home now...I'm very tired...and I would like to go to bed now. I've been walking and playing all day today, and that gets a little tiring you know!" He giggled and grabbed Greed's hand.
Kind sighed. "Alright I care about the both of them....you caught me...but that still won't help the fact of the problem we have here with them. Like you said, Envy could break and Greed could get worse. I didn't spare their lives for them to get depressed and broken...." He crossed his arms and smiled. "You think we should try to help Envy understand? Or even help Greed understand."

Greed nodded slowly as he heard him, and tried to smile for Envy's sake. He knew that nothing would be the same now, and that making Envy understand how hard this was..might just be impossible. Greed knew that he was just so young and he didn't grasp what he was going through. Greed knew that he didn't and so..he might as well just pretend that he was better. Greed knew that he would hardly be able to, but he would sure try.
"Yea..let's go home."
Greed said softly, and took his hand as he headed off for home with the other in tow.
Give chuckled lightly and wrapped his arms around Kind's waist as he held himself close to the other. He sighed and nodded as he heard all of what he had to say, and kissed his cheek.
"I know. I don't want either of them to be unhappy. And...i think we should help. We know we have Envy as a friend and so all we need to do is convince Greed. Envy can help us with that."
He said, and grinned lightly as he smoothed down Kind's hair and rested his head down onto his shoulder.

Envy smiled and followed him closely. "Greed...I think you should know something about where I was...but I'm afraid that you will get angry with me..." Envy looked down at the ground. He knew if he was going to be friends with Give and Kind then he would have to tell Greed about it, but he didn't want to lose Greed because he made friends with the virtues. "If I tell you will you promise not to get mad?"
Kind smiled and kissed Give's forehead. "Why do I have a feeling being friend's with this kid is going to be a pain in the butt?" He grinned. "Just kidding, but I fell like it's just going to be hard as heck....what do you think?"

Greed looked to Envy, and blinked as he heard him. He nodded slowly, and just looked to him, not having that glare in his eyes anymore. Greed was far too frantic and fearful for being outside. He just wanted to get back inside and back to their home as quick as they could.
"I promise.."
He said quietly, and squeezed Envy's hand softly. He wanted to know what Envy was talking about, since he was rather confused at the moment.
Give smiled and flushed softly, holding himself close to Kind, and then laughed softly.
"I agree. But, i think it's worth it. It's better to go through these things but at least have them as friends."
He said, and rubbed Kind's back gently.
"I know it's going to be hard. Getting Greed to accept that is going to be tricky. Though...with his state of mind now, you never know."

Envy looked down and he sighed. "I was walking by myself and I got to this park where I was playing with some birds....and the virtues came by..." He stopped there to see Greed's reaction, but he wouldn't looked up at Greed. He kept his eyes glues to the ground. Envy had Greed mad at him once...and he never wanted that, but he knew Greed would be upset if he found out Envy was trying to hide it, so Envy had to tell him right?
Kind sighed. "I'm beginning to wonder if it's worth it." He smiled and yawned. "Well without the kid, what do you want to do? I'm pretty bored now, it's crazy quiet without him here. He talked a lot! I got tired from all that energy he was feeding off."

Greed blinked, and slowed as he heard the other. His eyes didn't show that he was mad. He was more..frightened for Envy for what could have happened. Greed stayed silent, and nodded slowly as he heard him.
"They didn't...do anything to you, did they?"
Greed asked, his tone almost worried as he held Envy's hand tightly, and sighed. He had no idea that the two virtues were actually rather nice now, and though disobeying their rules, they were kind.
Give blinked, and shrugged as he walked with Kind back to their apartment.
"It is too worth it. We can't be all alone forever. Might as well be friends with them."
He said, and smiled as he nodded and heard the other.
"I know. He's so..lively. But i'm tired. Well...not too tired, but worn out. I'm sure we can find something to do with our time."
He said witha grin, and kissed the other softly as he gave him a squeeze and then ran into their home happily.

Envy shook his head quickly. "No they didn't do anything to me! I went home with them, and they told me they wanted to be our friends. They said they would leave heaven and everything! They don't want to kill us...is it ok if they are my friends Greed? They could be your friends too!" He smiled. "But they were really nice to me, they gave me ice cream, and they let me play video games!
Kind chuckled. "You're a little too happy right now....what's making you so hyper? If you have forgotten, we actually should be worrying that the other virtues might be coming after us soon...."

Greed stayed quiet as he listened, and he sighed as he heard all that Envy had to say about them and what they had done. Seemed...odd. One day they wanted to kill them and the next they allowed him to come over and gave him ice cream. It all seemed so fishy and confusing. It seemed like a trick.
"I..i'm not sure Envy. Are you sure it's not a...trick?"
He asked, and looked at the other, his tone unsure though he really was concerned. However, the virtues had a prime oppurtunity to get rid of Envy, and they hadn't. So...maybe it was possible. He just didn't know.
Give blinked as he heard Kind, and flushed sheepishly and sighed as he nodded.
"Yea...you're right. Sorry."
He said quietly, and knew that they should be thinking about that. No time for other things. Give stuffed his hands into his pockets and sat down on the couch, tossing his head to get the red bangs out of his eyes. Give knew that at times he felt as though he liked Kind more than the other gave to him, but he just stayed silent, and he didn't complain. Having him was better than nothing, so Give just nodded and smiled lightly.
