After.... all ..thats happened to me can you..uh.. blame me ?
*Roans nails made Bard's back arc in pleasure, a tickling rush overcame his body, he was getting lustfull. A vice grip caught Roans throat, he squeezed at her neck muscles and kissed her cheek. His neck was smudged red from the blood.*
You want more ?

*Roan grunted at the sudden pressure on her throat, not so much from pain as suprise. Her fangs slid out of bards neck, and thanks to not being able to swallow properly, a thin trickle of blood traced its way down from Roan's lip to her chin, a single drop falling onto Bard's hand*
Always....
*She purred the word out, her eyes glinting with a mixture of malice and mischief*

*His tongue unrolled from his mouth and licked Roans chin cleen, his blood tasted alot like iron. He staggered a few steps adjusting to the slight blood loss and layed down on the sofa. Deep inside he felt like a internal barrier had just been broken, it felt .....good.*
So what else do you have in mind for me ?

*Following him to the sofa, Roan perched over him, leering down*
Oh I dont know. Torture, blood loss, pain, pleasure.... why, what were you expecting?
*Roan dipped her head into the well of bards neck and licked at the blood still oozing from the small puncture wounds on his neck*

Well i like the sound of the last 2. *The luscious sight of Roan ontop of bard made a 'certain' muscle increase in size. His button on his leathers popped open leaving only the zip to hide himself. He ran his hand over her chest and slowly clawed her. Her tongue seduced his neck. He leant his head back and enjoyed.*

Such a shameless display boy. Have you NO control?
*Snickering, Roan rested her weight on bard and whispered into his ear, her grin slowly widening. It was comforting to know her own skills at attracting the opposite sex hadnt wained with time. tough Corbin was capable of calling any number of women to his side within moments of meeting them, Roan still found solac ein the OLD way of doing things. It was far better to tame the wild ones and assure yourself of their loyalty than to run the risk of being clawed to death when an enemy set your pets free*

*The soft words rang though Bards ears arousing him further. He itched to rip Roans clothes off. Her touch was worth 100,000 deaths.*
We NEED to go to yours. Theirs no posts to tie me to on this sofa

*She laughed. A light, sweet sound for once*
Its almost sweet the way your mood changes. one minute you fight me, the next you cant get enough of me. But if this is what you wish... who am I to say no?
*grinning, Roan snuggled up to Bard and allowed the darkness to coil around them both. As she laid her hea don his shoulder, it consumed them and they vanished*

Actually, it'd be more like me kicking you in the balls twice then taking the rap from Raoul. You're lucky enough to be a DeSeer - that means as long as you fight for the right cause, Im the one who'll get bollocked regardless of how independant the Prince chooses to make you. You should have seen teh reaming I got for Az's actions in Japan a few years back, though Bast knows Az doesnt know about that.
*The shadows delivered the pair to the Tavern*
Figured you'd like a drink.

"Heh, knowing that b*****d of a brother, he'd probably go ahead and release Kage, or somthing like that if he knew, just so you'd get a beating."
Appearing in the tavern, he smirked, and made his way over to the bar. As he grabbed two bottle of Absinthe, he walked back over to a table, and tossed a bottle to Roan, taking a seat, and kicking his feet up.
"A drink, is a wonderous idea."
With that he tore the neck off the bottle, and up ended it, guzzling like a newbie to the drink.

*Roan smiled and opened the bottle in front of her more sedatley, sipping the alcohol with an appeciation for its taste, rather than quantity*
You'll come to understand the Prince better in time, if not his goals. Suffice it to say he, and his superiors, are at present the best hope we have for maintaining our way of life and the relative freedom we have here. They are an infinitely better choice than the Sabbat, despite the total carnage one can indulge in with THAT faction.

"Well hey, I still get my fair share of chaos every so often."
Placing his now half empty bottle down, he finished his cigarette, before chewing it to a fine pulp, and swallowing the butt.
"In any case, we have more freedom than the humans. Well I cant really be an authority on the matter, concidering I was born immortal. You weren't though. What was it like?"

*Roan coughed on her drink - this had to be the very first time ANY of her kids had given a s**t about her life as a human. Blinking in suprise, she sorted herself out and stared hard at Corbin*
Would you beleieve it was wonderful?
*Settling back, her eyes seemed to space out to another time as she spoke*
Ok, sure, I was weak compared to the modern me. But it was a wonderful thing. My family werent poor, but I didnt get along with my mother. I adored my father though, well my step father though I didnt know that at the time. He was a great man. So strong and noble. He gave me my first horse and let me learn how to fight using sword and bow. I used to goout on the fells with him and fly our hawks... I craved his approval so much - I was his eldest child and at the time he had no son. i wanted to be strong fo rhim. Thats where I met Jan too. He was father's swordsmith and trained all our knights. Even now,I can look back and marvel at how much more intense my feelings were back then. I can remember the cold of my room in the mornings - we lived in a castle keep in south England. the stone used to freeze overnight even in summer. I remember the cold on my toes when I got out of bed, the feel of my codl clothe son warm skin... the joy of hunting animals on a horse, his body steaming under the strain of chasing the fox and rabbit. The call of the hounds, the smell of fresh grass trampled under hoof and paw... Most of all I remember the feeling of love. So much more intense as life is so short for mortals. Yes, that feeling is what I miss most. The feel of love at dusk on the open fields, with the sky crimson. That was what it was to be mortal. Short, intense and wonderful. Back then.. I didnt have to fight every single day. It was bliss. The feeling of life in my veins was bliss.

Listening intently, after chuckling at her initial response to his query, he lent back in his chair after she had finished.
"I've often wondered what it would be like, to be mortal. Less and less though as time goes by. Back before I was a DeSeer, I use to bother a guy that hung around the refuge alot, about how regular kids acted. Mostly though, I wondered about schooling, and the relationships forged between people. I hated being born the way I had been. Hell, inversia or otherwise, is no place for a kid to be raised. They turn out like me."
Laughing heartily, he took a generous mouthful of his drink and sighed.

You're more human than you realise Corbin. Being human is about emotion. About emapthising with anothers pain... its the demon in us that then allows us to take that life away regardless of that. As long as you still understand teh value of life, you are not totally inhuman.
