((I'll just jump in somewhere.))
Hattie slid out of the truck, going over in her head what she had said to Eric. She didn't hear is reaction, nor did she see it, but knowing him, it was probably some smartass remark that left his mouth before her news even sunk into his brain, but regardless of what actually went down, Hattie found herself nervous. A feeling of sharp sadness and dred fell over her like an blanket of ice that she couldn't explain. Something in her past maybe? She didn't know.
She put one hand absently on her stomach, almost as if she had done it before and saught after the others to check on Ruby.

The Seer spread his hands out, a glittering gray aura emitting from his hands. It spread out, resuming time.

Jehric's words played out in everyone else's mind, recounting what he said during the brief time freeze.

"The cyclops wanted him gone, and didn't much expect to have to do more." Tubby called out. "I'm pretty sure how he leaves ain't a problem." Tubby hopped down out of his tank, with a mark of agility surprising for one with his stature. He walked up to Jehric, staring at him.
"An' lets get one thing straight here, Jehric. Me an my Batallion? We ain't here for you, or the peace of yer city. The only reason we're here is for the Angel. If that sumbitch were to start up shop down in the middle of Union City, we'd follow him there. b*****d saved the lives of me an' mine, so we came where he called. You just happened to be here."
"Shared." Herbasis said, standing next to Tubby. "Atlantis no longer cares for the happenings of you humans, we proved that by sinking our city decades ago. We only came to this place because the Angel called for our aid. Do not think this army to be comprised of solely 'your' troops." Herbasis lowered his gun to his side, pressing a button on his wrist thing, stopping the timer at "00:01"

Ruby gave a slight wave to Hattie as she came by. Ruby was doing better, other than the angry scowl that had planted itself on her face. Her wounds were pretty much gone.
She looked from Tubby to Herbasis, "Are you tellin' me this is the angel's doin?"

Ruby St.Claire Ruby gave a slight wave to Hattie as she came by. Ruby was doing better, other than the angry scowl that had planted itself on her face. Her wounds were pretty much gone. She looked from Tubby to Herbasis, "Are you tellin' me this is the angel's doin?" "Hmm? Hell, I don't even think the Angel knows 'bout this. But he put the Seer in a high-up spot fer a reason." Tubby looked over at her, shouting.

If you want him gone, he can leave. All you had to do was ask. This;" He said, sweeping his arm around at the tanks and s**t-ruiners, "Is entirely unnescessary. You are causing a disturbance in my city. While you are here, living, in this city, you all are under my rule. The angel is here by my good graces, and you all respect that you are guests, in my house. You will abide by rules. I have been extraordiarily lienent with what I have allowed you to do, but this, I cannot abide by. He can leave, but it will be with an escourt, lead by me. Not with fire. Now you all need to talk to the Angel. We have larger issues than Blitz to deal with. Ridding ourselves of the Good General and and taking a stand at Pheonix against a real threat is more pressing than one man. I may be wrong in letting him go, and if I am, then you can kill him with all the glee and flames you want. But for now, we let him go."

/I know enough of him to know that asking will not work, at least, not within a reasonable time frame. My plan solves the problem of him being here in under thirty seconds, or, it would have, had others not interrupted. As the large man said, I did not plan on shooting him, he's not so stupid as to let himself be shot./

Arch the Angel Tubby merely grinned, and pointed at the space Blitz stood. /I know enough of him that asking wouldn't have worked, or, at least, it would have taken time. The forces needed to be assembled for the assault on Phoenix anyways, and my plan solved the problem with him being here in under 30 seconds. I believe it was those that interfered that caused this to be a time-taking endeavor. /But, you are correct. The upcoming battle is necessary, and we must plan for it./ Jerhic nodded at the Seer. "Thank you for cooperating and understanding." He turned to Herbasis, "I have a pair of choppers ready for you and your's. They're in the hangar adjacent to Mist Chase's shop. If you are ready, please go there and await departure. If not, ready your gear." "Tubby, I need you to make sure the gunshhips are ready to depart, as well as the JSFs. Can you see to that while I escourt our friend to the Shelter?"

Ruby St.Claire Ruby glanced at Hattie, still too angry at the seer to even broach the topic. "You all right sug? You ain't lookin' all that chipper." Hattie leaned close to Ruby's ear. "I'm pregnant...." She said flatly. She wished that Eric was around to ease her feeling of wretchedness, but she wasn't sure that he actually could. So, to take her mind off of it, she half listened to the guys talk and to Ruby.

"Shelter's been blown up sugar." Ruby spoke to Jehric, "but if you have everythin' taken care of, I'll be headin' to my room."
She jumped slightly at Hattie's declaration. She gave her a small smile, understanding what it was like being knocked up and more or less alone. "if'n you're needin' anythin' sug, feel free to knock. But I doubt I'll be comin' out for a while, the general population 'round here is makin' me a bit ill." Ruby pushed away from the wall heading toward her room.

"We take our own transportation." Herbasis growled, staring down at Jehric for a moment, then turning, motioning to his troops, who followed.
Tubby spat to the side. "Yeh think I know if the what's-its and the too-many-letter thin's work? I'm a tank man, the rest is someone else's job." He walked back to his tank, climbing in, and driving off with his batallion.
/There is no cooperation. There is understanding./ The Seer said simply, then was gone.

"Everything is under control. Take care, and try not to stress yourself too much." Jerhic replied, turning to Hattie, "Eric is in his shop, getting ready. You might want to see him and see if he needs you. I need to speak more with these three." He said to Hattie, motioning to Tubby, Herbasis, and the Seer.

Hattie watched Ruby go and then nodded to the Seer. "Thank you." She wasn't feel paricularly well anyway and made her way to Eric's garage slash home apartment place. Once there, she sat down on a large, worn tire and thought. She had no idea what was going on, but she was prepared to fight. Baby or no baby.
