"No... we are not alone... come with me..." *Sanctum got up onto his hands and knees and crawled towards his grove. Before he reached the place where the invisible barrier was set, he began to remove his clothes.* "I... need you to... try and take off your clothes... Adharon can help us..."

*Sanc waded into the water of the small pond of his grove. He slashed his own hand (which was already bleeding profusely) and let the blood spill on the amethyst altar. Adharon appeared in front of him.*

"Adharon... I care not for my own life. Please.... save Elec."
*Adharon laughed*
*Sanc gave a weak smile and motioned for Elec to come forward. He then turned back to Adharon, gave a nod, closed his eyes, and plunged his dark claws into his own stomach. More blood spilled into the pond, and Adharon swept down. He placed a hand on Sanctum's shoulder, and all of his wounds began to close up, including the one he'd just inflicted. He then floated to Elec and placed a hand on her shoulder. Her side sealed itself. No more blood dripped into the pond. Adharon nodded at the two and disappeared.* "Thank you..." *Sanctum whispered*

*Sanc buried his face deep into her curls of hair, now damp at the tips from the water around them. He smiled a little.* "Aww... but that would mean we would have to get dressed." *He kissed her neck and held on to her. He could barely move, from sheer exhaustion. He knew she was right, that they had to go back to her room where it was safest, but he didn't look forward to the trip all the way back to GIT.*

"Oooh... ********... Now I feel bad. I forgot about her in the heat of everything that happened. I hope he didn't mess her up too bad..." *Sanc sighed and lay back in the water. All the blood that had spilled was dissolved. That's when he remembered. The undines. And their brothers, the Sylphs. Sanc let out a high-pitched whistle. Four forms appeared in front of them, whispy men, all standing looking around. Sanctum sat up some.* "Please... Sylphs... I... I need you to take us to the GIT building... The two of us, and the other one out there still..." *The Sylphs merely nodded, and before he could bother dressing or letting Elec dress, they were whisked away at high speed towards the GIT building*

*Sanctum walked into the Reprieve... and stopped dead in his tracks. It was worse than he feared. The bushes and trees and vines were all dying or dead, and the pond was completely dried up. The waterfall had a large chunk missing from its side, at least 3 of the boulders had been broken off. The only thing that remained in tact was Sanc's grove, the one place where Taka couldn't go without invitation. Sanctum fell to his knees as tears welled up in his eyes.*

((Not to ruin the seriousness of this moment, but I went to change Taka's name from "Fear Me" to his full name, "Ashitaka Sanjuro" and they wouldn't let me because it interferred with the site's PG-13 rule... I looked closely, and I believe I can't name myself Ashitaka because right in the middle is the word "s**t" lol rolleyes How lame is that?))

*Sanctum stood and glared at Taka, wiping the tears from his eyes.* "You son of a b***h. You ******** son of a b***h! How can you be so heartless as to kill innocent spirits?"
*Taka just laughed* "Innocent? No. They were in league with you. I had to kill them. I had to destroy them. You ruined my plans, Sancy. Now I'm exacting my revenge."
*Sanctum stopped. Despite his hatred, he was intrigued.* "Revenge? For what?"

*Taka's eyes narrowed as a hatred welled up in him.* "You don't remember? You honestly don't remember? then let me remind you...

Long ago, back in the days of your old kingdom, you had a sister. She was beautiful. Absolutely beautiful. When she came of age, I came to you to request her hand in marriage, and you turned me away. Like I was some kind of common street beggar! It was at that point that I began to exact my revenge. I studied for long and hard in the ways of magic and illusion. I studied until the time came. I stumbled upon your worthless brother's old monestary and ventured inside. I met the monks there... and began to corrupt their thoughts. See, your kingdom was thriving nicely. Balanced. Not good, but not bad. And the monks were there to maintain that. But I put thoughts into their heads. Plagued their dreams with visions and illusions until they started to think that you were doing far too well for yourself. I made it out to look like you despised them and thought them no good and worthless to your kingdom. They returned your "generosity" be deciding to open that portal of demons. In their minds, it would only put you in your place and restore order and neutrality to your kingdom. But their calculations were bent to my will, and they sent in too many. I thought they had killed you off, until I found out from a reliable source that you were alive. And, lo and behold, they were right. So I've come back, Sanctum, to make your life a living hell until I can finally finish you off for what you've done."
*Sanctum gave him an unbelieving look.* "That's it? You've made my life hell because I would let you marry my little sister? I should..."
*Taka interrupted him.* "NO! I did NOT set out to kill you because of something so trifle. I wanted your sister to myself. I needed you out of the way. But I misjudged the power of the demons, as well. I had no clue that your sister was staying in your castle when I sent them to attack. I wanted them to kill you.... but instead... they killed her... she was the only woman I had ever loved, and I wanted her all to myself... but no... YOU had to stand in the way. YOU turned me into what I am right now! This is all YOUR FAULT!" *He charged forward, bringing his fan back and swiping it at Sanctum.*

((He he he he he... I'm a damned genius... advancing my storyline... you're welcome to come into the Reprieve if you want. It would be good to make it difficult, cause the more people that are present, the better Taka can work, but it would be bad IC cause you and Sanc would be attacking each other a lot... it's up to you))

*Sanctum turned lightning fast and made to kick Taka as he ran past. His foot went... through! Through Taka! Of course! He remembered Elec's words: "Taka has not attacked us directly. Don't fall for it!" But he remembered too late. A sharp pain shot through his shoulder and down through his body.* "AAAAAAAAAAAARGH!" *He fell to his knees as Taka buried his fingers viciously into his damaged shoulder. Fresh blood spurted and spread on the wraps and gauze.*
*Taka let out a laugh* "You are just as foolish and weak as I remember the last time we fought."
*Sanctum's eyes were screwed up and shut in pain, but he still managed to talk through clenched teeth.* "Yeah? Then why are you missing an arm?"
*Taka's eyes grew dark.* "Oh... you'll pay for that one... trust me... you'll pay."
*Sanctum wrenched free of Taka's grasp and stood. As he whipped around, Taka was gone. Sanctum made 2 clones... and for a split second, the clones could see Taka standing there, prepared to strike. It was as if there were 2 realities and Sanc could see them both. In one reality, Taka was invisible, but in that split second before Taka could extend the illusions to the clones, Taka became very visible. Sanctum leapt to the side and saw a gash appear in the ground where he was just standing. The clones disappeared. Sanctum closed his eyes. This was going to take a lot of energy and effort, but it was doable.*
