A nervous twitch of tapping her foot sounded off of the stone floor as bits of anger filled her being. They the two spoke was as if she was some child that couldn't possibily speak in her own defense. Then as realization hit her Clover nullified the anger with appreciation for Epotheros' diplomatic charisma. She knew that she probably would have said the wrong thing, and that she needed the Sernians help. The power of light was still rather new to her. Wind was suited her fancy far more, but the wind couldn't thwart darkness. No, she needed to become a worthy holder of ability. She needed to prove to herself that she could indeed use light to it's full potential, or at least to an appropriate level. Hearing the doubt in the Emperors voice Clover smiled and nodded saying, "Yes, I'm willing to take that chance." Without this training there was little hope in defeating Zant, and failure wasn't an option anymore not after everything that they had gone through. She could make this sacrifice.

"Oh, quite interesting... For now I invite you to stay in one of the royal chambers while you work on your training. Brutus, escort the young lady to her room, while Tyrus you prepare the young man for his stay in our city." The two guards then lead Epotheros and Clover seperate ways, but before Epotheros left the Emperors sight he requested that the guards let in two elvish people and a man with black eyes.
Brutus lead Clover to one of the royal chambers, politly opening the bronze door for her and allowing her to enter the room. The room was elegantly decorated, boasting marble floors and walls, with gold decorations adorning the walls and sun crept in from the glass ceiling. The bed had the same high class quality as the rest of the room, that even made the rooms at the Lord's castle seem like something a common man stayed in. Brutus then said, "More apropriate attire awiats on your bed," as he motioned to a sheet like piece of cloth that sat on the bed's blankets. Brutus then left Clover alone in the room and closed the large bronze door behind him.
A few minutes later Epotheros bursted in through the door, carrying his armor, sword and regular clothing in his arms; wearing what appeared to be a white sheet wraped over his lower body but only covering the part of his torso where it was drapped over his arm, and buckled to the rest of it by a large brass button. Another shocking fetured about him was that aside from the blue smudges that vandalized his face it appeaered that he was, or was just recently made a Sernian via the process of dunking his head into a vat of cerulian dye.
"Fit in they said!," Epotheros growled with a hint of Rage as he tossed his armor and clothing onto the floor, but was wary not to throw his weapon as well. "Now were is a water basin so I may remove this mess from my face?" He said to himself still unaware that Clover was in the room as well. Epotheros soon found his way into a small side room with two marble pieces of funiture. One seemed to be a piece of raised floor with a hole in it with two metal object justing from the wall above one end of the structure. The other was smaller and about the size of a chair. At this time curiosity over came his rage, and he turned one of the nobs that was above one of the metal structures. When turned a stream of cold water jetted from the peice of metal and landed into the overgrown basin.
((If you had not figured out from having an Emperor, indoor plumbing and togas, the Sernian people are the only reminants from the advance Roman Empire and were likely the ones who engineered all of Rome's wonders. Also Ty, Tramer, and Larien all have safe passage into the city but will likely have to endure the same humiliating prosses Epotheros just went through.))

Clover watched the large bronze doors shut behind Brutus' fleeting figure. Then with much hesitation she peered about the room soaking up all of the beauty that surrounded her. The sight was more than what she was accustomed to. After she felt that her eyes and mind had examined enough of the finery ladened within the large room she swwoped down and held up the sheetlike attire. Clover changed into the odd clothing. The sheet latched across both of her shoulders and cascaded down to the floor. A thin rope was tied right above her waist. There was another peice of material that she recognized from when they had been escorted into the city. The women had worn the peices sort of like shalls, but not like she was accostumed to. As she began to wrap each end around her arms with the material hugging around her back Clover jumped. The doors to the room had burst open. Intrigued by what passed through them she stayed quite and just stared. Epotheros' hair was now blue. She surpressed a bout of laughter as he complained about the cerulean dye and left to the small attatched room to find a water basin. Once he was out of sight Clover let the burst of laughter escape her. She stopped abruptly hopping he hadn't heard, for she didn't want to make him even more irrated than the dye evidently had already done. She quickly decided that she preferred his light chestnut locks to the deep blue. ((I tried my best to explain the appearance of a tunica and pella(the shall-like material). Hopefully it wasn't too confusing.))

Epotheros was sucessful in removing the dark pigment from his skin but failed to rid it from his har as he splashed water from the tub onto his face. While doing so he could hear Clover's voice releasing fits of laughter about his current situation. He then stood up and made his approach. He then realized that these changes made to them so they could "fit in" didn't seem all bad. The clothing seemed to fit Clover perfectly as the cloth accented her figure in a way her other clothing had not. "Do you find my hair amusing?" he said with a smile as he grasped her waist before he tugged her towards him and passionatly kissed her on the lips and neck while under the spell of the beauty he saw before him.

(( I wouldn't say it's too romantic, but I would say that it's unexpected from what I have seen of him so far. That coupled with the fact that he skipped a few steps in the trials of love made my head reel for just a moment...but then again...fleeting, unbound love does have a way of altering one's norms with sudden bursts of "what the hell was that"'s. In other words: Wow! Didn't see that coming! ))
It was coming to a close on the second day since Epotheros and Clover had left, and not much had happened within the camp of the remaining three members of our story. Tramer had not awoken and did not have the appearance of waking any time soon, though in his current state he could wake just as I finish this statement, or not at all. Larien and TY had little to do with each other outside of what was neccessary. They ate and slept when their body called for it, feeling safer here than they would in some places, yet not as safe as if they were in their own personal havens. At the end of this particular day, the dark man stopped to stare at the other as she went about her own tasks, not really caring if she noticed. After a moments pause, he reverted back to whatever task it was he was doing, silently keeping whatever thought he just had to himself.
(( That felt odd to type. It felt like I became the official narrator as opposed to being the puppet-master of my own creation. ))

((I agree with Ty that it is a little unexpected, but hey what's done is done.)) A smile still tugging at her lips, Clover was ammused to see Epotheros still with blue hair, but luckily the smudges that had adorned his face were now gone. The mirth in her features was evident towards his question. What happened next took Clover's mind a few moments to digest. Before she could reply she found herself pressed against his chest as his lips claimed hers. Clover let it all sink in before returning any affection. Epotheros had kissed her before, but those instances were always fleeting and much less spontaneous. Returning to the moment she laced her arms around his neck and then pulled back slightly taunting, "Blue really isn't your color." A deep blush colored her cheeks as a smirk stuck to her lips.

((I found it also to be slightly odd and was combating with myself to leave it or rid the board of it entirely.Thios was more about a burst of emotion he has kept locked away since he and Clover were seperated by Dericos. But here is all the diologe that should have appeared before the action.))
"I believe I have had my revenge for you poking fun at my situation, though I do believe it was not much of a punishment on your part," he said to her with a sly tone. The truth of the matter is, that back when you were hidden in the cave with Dericos, I had never had more fear run through my veins. It wasn't a fear of him of him defeating you, but more that I would never be able to see you again, or to hear the joys of your laughter, but here we are. I am able to hear your laughter at my expence, as well as gaze upon you as you resemble a goddess while dressed in the clothes of the Sernian people." His eyes the nervously shot away from hers before returning. Epotheros then took a deep breath before stating, "Clover I believe I need to tell you something, a phrase that I should have told you long before the incident with Dericos. Clover, I love you."

The mirth etched on Clover's face slowly melted away as she listened intently to Epotheros' short but meaningful speech. An unfamiliar lump formed in her throat and she found no immediate response, instead her mind ran about frantically. She thought back to everything they had gone through, and deep inside she knew that her affections towards the man confessing before her had began a long while ago. When the bridge had collasped and he had carried her on his back to safety a foreign emotion had emerged and slowly grew into what she now felt for Epotheros. Of course Clover had never been practiced in showing her emotions freely. This was something odd to her. Was it love though? That word held so much meaning and she wasn't sure if tossing it about was ever a good idea, but this instant it seemed to fit perfectly.
After a brief silence Clover spoke softly, "As I you." Following the declaration, her cheeks flushed an impossibly brighter shade than before. She stared into his eyes waiting for a confirmation that she wasn't imaging all of this; her arms still clung around his neck.

When Epotheros heard Clover's words, he said nothing, but rather nuzzled his right cheek against the top of her head as he embraced her more firmly than he had before. After doing so he responded in a wisper just abover her ear, "I am happy you do." Epotheros continued holding Clover firmly against him for what seemed an eternity, but in reality passed only a few moments before Brutus came through the door and commanded them to go to the temple so Clover may begin her training.
Brutus led the two through a series of allyways and corridors through out the city before they made it to the temple. The people on the street no longer looked at Epotheros with discust but rather accepted him since his hair no longer stood out. When inside the temple, the head priest, who was roughly one hundred years old stood up and approached the outsiders. "So this is the young girl who has the ability of light. There is no mistaking it, her aura fortells the power." the priest said in a rusty voice.
Meanwhile Brutus was having a small conversation with the Emperor, who shortly after called Epotheros over to him. "Not to be rude, but will you walk with me while she undergoes the training. Epotheros agreed and followed the Emperor outside to the temple's courtyard. WHen they had left the High Priest asked Clover if she could demonstrait the extent of her ability to him.
((Ty, you and Larien should work on a way to get Tramer to the city.))

Dissapointed for their tender moment being interupted Clover grudgingly followed Brutus alongside to the temple. Before they had left the room she had strapped her belt bearing her dagger around her waist and latched her quiver and bow onto her person. Clover had a feeling she might need these items once the training began.
She shot glances towards Epotheros as they walked to the sacred place. All she could think about was what had just been confessed by the both of them. Her thoughts ran short and reality stung bitterly once they reached the head priest. Training would no doubtably start immediately. Unfortunately Epotheros was summoned by the Emperor, and she was left there to demonstate her abilities to the elder before her. Assumming he only wanted to see the light ability she possessed, she reached for her bow and loaded it with an arrow. Then she sent a bright light to the tip. Truthfully this was the most powerful form she had acquired with light so far. Clover vaguely wondered if the preist would laugh at her indirect approach of using the power.

The second time a sudden thought crossed TY's mind, he did not hide it from Larien. Instead he blatently stated it. "Larien. I know what was said, and I know too that Tramer is in trouble, more mentally than physically, but I think we should take him to the Island that Epotheros and Clover left for a few days ago. There may be someone there who can help us out with Tramer. Someone who the others went to go see. If i'm wrong, we'll meet up with them a day sooner, but if I'm right, and there is someone there who can save him...wouldn't you want that?" Awaiting a pause that seemed to go on forever, he went on, "I recognize the feelings you all share with each other. they are feelings I cannot ever truly understand. But it is because of these feelings that I should leave the final vote up to you: Do we atempt to move his body, traveling towards a possible cure, or let him lie and hope he snaps out of it by himself? I don't expect an answer on such short notice, but I cannot give you forever either, so I will scout out a clear path ahead, following the direction the others took and be back by morning's light. I only ask that we have a set bearing by then." plus this'll give me something to do. With that, he set off, walking out of the camp, heading in the direction the two on horseback had gone.
((given no serious delays, I might be able to get us there by the next nightfall.))

Why are you using a physical medium. It willl only reach its peak of perfection if it can be made from pure energy. That way the opponent can not stop it and it can fly without being affected by outside forces thus being able to acheive a speed of attack that no being can dodge. ALso it will have a range that you would see as imposible. You could even hit the moon if you wanted to, but you will first have to learn to control it without using a physical object as a crutch." The old mans words seemed to give him so much excitment that it seemed that he had shaved fifty years off of his life. "Now have you ever created a bow of energy, or an arrow of pure energy before even if you had to use a special item?"

Clover wasn't a bit surprised to hear that she still had a long ways to go. It was just easier for her to to lace the energy around what felt most comfortable to her. Her bow had been an loyal companion for as long as she could remember. Along with the wind her skills as an archer were quite desirable compared to others, at least were she had traveled. She could only imagine the abilities of the Sernians. This priest seemed to come to life as if he was reliving the past, mainly his youth. When asked about creating a bow out of pure light Clover thought back to the artifact at the Lord's castle. She nodded her head, "Yes, there was this odd arrow.." she trailed off remembering the first encounter they insued with Lilith. Clover quickly banished the memory from her mind. Such thoughts weren't welcome right now. She needed to keep her mind clear and not dewl on negatives. Regaining her previous train of thought she said, "When I touch it a bow of light appeared."

"Well that "Odd arrow," as you say, is in truth a tool used for training. Each one in made to hold a specific amount of light energy, and when touched by a person who has the gift it will react accordinglt to how much power the person has. Now I will give you a mid level arrow and see if it reacts to your touch, then we can see if you require a smaller or larger arrow." The old priest then went into a seperate room and returned with an arrow that was slightly smaller than the one she had used before, meaning it would be more difficult to get a reaction from it. He then handed it to her.
