Zio: Sir Mastema..... Axl Low has been detected approaching the citadel.

Mastema: Very well. He's just here to see Thanatos most likely.... hmm... *Mastema takes into consideration what his actions should be*

Than: *He jogs through the citadel streets up toward where Axl was. He was going to have a few questions for Axl as well*

Axl: *Yawns and stands still. He looks around then sees Than coming down the street. He grins and waves* Yo! ^^

Than: *He laughs happily and runs up to Axl, also waving* Konnichiwa Axl-kun ^^ I knew you'd show up sooner or later

Axl: I can't stay quiet. Everyone tells me so *laughs* Anywho, you look all right. How ya been?

Than: A little mishap here and there but I'm all good. Yourself?

Axl: Physically, great. Though everything else seems to be going to hell. *Both go silent for a little while*

Than: I see. So what did you come to ask me?

Axl: Well first.... what's up with you going to Mastema? I mean... I know @#$% hit the fan at the guild but how is coming here going to help.

Than: *sighs* The night I fought Apollo, I made a mistake..... and Kaiori-san also seemed to misinterpret what I said..... that or I just didn't say it right. *sighs again*

Axl: Hmm.... so is that why she left you think?

Than: I think it would have gotten there eventually but I was definitely a catalyst to it all.

Axl: @_@ big words. *shakes head* Well come on man it can't all be that bad can it? Even if it was your bad why not just talk with Kai?

Than: I would if I thought I could make a difference... or if I knew something wouldn't interfere

Axl: I hear ya. But man Kai's flipping out and I don't know what to do.

Than: What do you mean? What's happened to her?

Axl: First she rebuilds her old temple and takes over, now she wants to blow BC sky high. Apollo's also playing around here and there, with what I'm not sure.

Than: *flinches at the mention of Apollo* I see..... but that's not a lot to go on.

Axl: He's actually at the BC now if you wanna go get him o_0

Than: *shakes his head* iie. I'm not ready for him, not yet. But I will do what I can else where

Slayer: Perhaps I can aid you *He was just suddenly there behind Axl*

Axl/Than: *jump* >< don't do that!

Slayer: My apologies, but I think I have some information that may help you, Thanatos

Than: Nani? Nan desuka? o.o

Axl: *listens to Slayer as well*

Slayer: During my visit to the temple yesterday, I encountered Apollo. After a brief discussion of how he intends to take Kaiori as his bride.... he intends to do it by way of her guilt

Than: Guilt? Ikaga?

Slayer: *raises a brow* His confidence in his plan, which sounds far too much of a gamble to really be a ploy, tipped me off to their being something else to his plan. I believe he's manipulating Kaiori's feelings in a manner that she doesn't recognize. I also have reason to believe he's doing it by way of sorcery.

Than: *twitches* So you're saying he's manipulating her with magic?

Slayer: *nods* And will release his holds only when he's certain that he's done his part.... how he exactly plans to exercise his control I'm not certain.

Axl: *blinks* I knew he was using a date rape drug...... stare

Slayer/Than: stare sweatdrop stare

Than: I think I understand. He has said under continued circumstances...

Axl: Big words again x.x

Than: gomen.... he's said that he knows her inside and out... so no doubt he'd try to force her around to him by controlling her emotions. But what can be done?

Slayer: Simple answer complex plan. Kaiori must come to understand she's being manipulated and break at least part of the hold he has on her. Once she's done that we'll know for certain what has happened. I'm not completely sure as to what extent Apollo is directly controlling her.... so it's a risk. What will you do Thanatos?

Than: *sighs and thinks* I'm here to gain control..... and Kaiori-san does not want my help... nor does she want me involved at all. *looks down* But.... I will try to make her understand what I really meant, hopefully that'll turn her back to her normal self. *sighs* I was the catalyst in this so I won't stay by idly

Slayer: *nods* I suppose that's all you can be expected to do. I hope you'll find the right way to do it.

Than: *nods* I hope so too

Axl: So.... are you gonna be coming back Thanny? o_0

Than: *shakes his head* I can't Axl-kun...... there's nothing for me at the dojo. All that's left is for me to correct what I did wrong and then I wont' have any ties to the dojo

Axl: Man you're a merry-go-round. Why do you think there's nothing there? We're all your pals aren't we?

Than: That's exactly why I don't want you to get hurt. *He sighs* It's best you two go now.... We can talk again later. *He turns and starts to walk back to the citadel*

Axl: Wait! Come one Th-

Than: Just go! *He trembles a little* Onegai.... I'm not through thinking yet.... just not yet Axl-kun. *He starts to jog back down the streets*

Axl: *Is about to follow when Slayer snags him*

Slayer: Leave him be...forcing him to make a decision will only make it worse.

Axl: *sigh* You're right. Let's go

Slayer: *nods. He and Axl both vanish in a waver*

Than: *A few tears roll down his cheeks while he jogs back to the tower* Just stop tugging on my heart already.... I can't take it....

*Nana continues to meditate. A few hours more and she'd be fine again*

*Scaring if there was any, started to disappear and lighten as healed fibers took the places of the damaged ones. New feather growth would start in a day or so, after the damage points where stimulated. Most likely by an agitant, like dust blowing in the wind. Nana would continue this meditation until later on in the morning just incase. If she was still out of sorts, then this healing meditation would hopefully take care of the problem*

*Mastema steps out of the shadows and stands beside Than* A hidden chamber. I thought it best to bring you here after you collapsed. I looked you over.... your powers are on the breaking point. It would seem that you don't have long before you lose everything unless you take other measures.

You tell me. Your dwindling emotions are allowing it to progress *sighs* I suppose it's a curse for a person that cares. I believe I know of an item that will help you. The company is in possession of it however. I will have it retrieved as soon as possible. For now you may have to endure. You're free to do as you wish but be advised against moving too much.

If you're so stubborn about it, I doubt I can stop you. stare It's, more or less, one of Twilight's former possessions, a very powerful paopei, like Axl's. I'm skeptical about using it as a restraint but it is the only item that will suffice at the moment. It has powerful psychological amplifications, but also significant ramifications. If you try, I think you'll be able to handle that strain over this one. The choice is yours Thanatos, will you use Twilight's old possession to save yourself, or allow your aura to destroy you before you correct your errors? *He grins slightly*
