Jodan grins "He also tried to remove my mask as well as his own and he likes to hit others with his bone." Jodan says as she relaxes when Shin does not harm her son. Jodan then grins thinking about what would have happened had Shin harmed Ryu and she attacked him. It would have ended ugly for her since he was much stronger than she was. Shin smiled, "Ya I know, don't worry about it." he said standing there as he looked at her. He wondered if she would have tried to hurt him if anything went wrong with the interaction with Ryu. He just shrugged, "Well anyways, so what are we doing?" he questioned looking at Ume, "Cause I know I've been gone, and since these hollows followed your scent, I'm sure you've made friends with others." he said smiling, "Just cause I know that's how you are." he said smiling, "But anyways." Shin continued, "I have nothing to do, not a thing, so why don't we go check out this den of ours shall we Ume?" he questioned looking at her, waiting for a response.

"Sure! Its a few rock formations away. I carved it out myself and used my reishi to hold it together. I hope you like it, Shin! I gave us several rooms and actually managed to dig up a well! Who knew? There's water to be had under there. I set up some kind of barrier with these little bits of paper I bought from the roving hueco market. That should keep most out, any rate. At least the ones that I don't want in there. It took a few trips but I even got us a bed and some covers. No sense in trying to get sleep on a rock if you can help it." She smiles, knowing that she's rambling, but she just can't help herself since it had been a few days since she last saw him. "I definitely made some friends, some here and others in the menos forest. We even came up with some neat ideas that I want to run by you when and if you are interested in hearing about them. Oh and Shin, I wanted to tell you something." She giggles and hugs him and whispers in his ear. "You are going to be a father! Isn't that great?"
Little Ryu scuttles back over to his mother at his top speed, which is easily surpassed by most people just walking. He does not let this bother him and just keeps on trucking as he toddles right up to Jodan. "Ra-awr!" He hops up and down, begging to be carried so that he does not have to walk so far. Like many times he had tried before, he shoves his little paw into his mask, in an attempt to suck his thumb, but the muzzle of the mask ends several inches from his actual mouth. After several attempts at trying to get around his mask he sighs and drops his hand. Sudddenly, he gets an idea and shoves his bone club into his mask ans gnaws on that since he can't suckle on anything. The infant, cute and little as he is, is getting quite agitated by his mask and his limitations caused by his size. A small matter to most, but to a toddler hollow, it means all the world of difference.

Jodan smiles down at Ryu as she picks him up and follows Ume and Shin. She snickers as her boy tries and fails to suck on his thumb. "I need to find him something that he can suck on." She thinks

Shin smiled and lifted her up hugging her tightly, "That's perfect." he said smiling, talking about the den and her being pregnant. "And sure I'll listen to what you have to say." he said smiling as he waited to here what she had to propose. He'd try to run it if he could, and hope nothing would happen to the people under him, due to Naniyori's belief he had command over everyone. He yawned and waited to hear what she had planned with her friends about him ruling something.

Ahnmik blinked his golden eyes and gazed out across the bleak landscape, then he lowered his body to the ground and sniffed over the sand, also picking up handfuls, letting the grains run through his fingers. He could feel the greater concentration of spirit particles here, he wasn't starving nearly as badly as he had back in the temple. He could also sense others, many others, with a dark aura like his own, some small, others very large. It was also clearly a desert, this much was more like the home he knew, only with white sand and the occasional upthrusting of branching formations. Not wasting any time, he began to explore this new place in order to understand it and thus survive.
Not long into his swerving and winding exploratory journey, he smelled one of the small hollows coming closer. Soon it came into view and he could examine it. It looked like a lizard, not too different from those he had devoured back home. Once that identification passed through his reptilian brain, instinct kicked in and he pounced on the creature, grabbing it with both hands and biting its head off swiftly. He absorbed its energy, the small hollow lizard's power becoming his as he ate it hungrily. Then Ahnmik continued on his way to find a good place to build a lair.

Ahnmik slithered over the dunes, looking for a suitable place to call home. He didn't find any water. He couldn't smell water, didn't think there was any here, and he wasn't thirsty anyway. Those were old habits from his earlier life spent living in the desert. The White Viper didn't need water now. All he needed were souls. He had also found and devoured two more hollow animals, another lizard and a large insect before choosing to stop. It was a good place, three of those crystalline growths were situated nearby making a sort of grove.
He began to make his den by digging into the side of the largest dune in the grove. He dug steadily, never tiring like he might have if he had been mortal. By the time the moon had moved halfway across the starless sky Ahnmik had finished a small chamber he could rest in. It wasn't a grand den, not even by snake standards, but he could use it for resting in between hunts. He coiled up in his little den, upper body nearest the entrance, and lay down, eyes remaining open. First of all, because hollows don't need to sleep and secondly, because snakes don't have eyelids and he is thus used to resting with eyes open.

The reptiles mask was becoming more and more like a shatter formation making him undeniably weaker. He could barely even scrounge for a meal without more cracks arriving to the scene and dramatically decreasing his fighting ability. Soon enough he crazed for food through a series of shrieks throughout Muchos. His obese size was also putting a toll on him to the point as he collapsed under the coalition of the surrounding spiritual pressures and his own weight. He continually sunk under the bleak sand gradually he mask fully shattered as did his spiritual presence in Hueco Mundo.

Refreshed from a good rest and hungry again, Ahnmik set out for the new meal. With the sky the way it is here, it was impossible to tell day from night or the passage of time. There was a moon that slowly moved across the sky. To the serpent who had watched it during his rest, it appeared to move backwards. That was different. But different is not necessarily bad. The souls here taste different, but not in a bad way. They still add to his strength and even seem to make him stronger than the normal souls that the priests had fed him.
Slithering and stalking and laying in wait, Ahnmik devoured three more hollow animals, a boar, a lizard, and a snake, before returning home to work on his den. The boar, being large and tusked, was the hardest to take down and took a while to finish eating. He had to be on guard to make sure he wasn't ambushed while eating it. Back home he resumed digging and dug until he had a second cozy chamber deeper in. And thee he curled up once more to wait for the hunger to become stronger again and begin the cycle anew.

By this time the reptile had been fully decimated leaving nothing more than spirit particles which molded with the desert sands already present particles. Even so these newly scattered one became aggressive and broke free from the crowd suddenly then dragging the surrounding particles with thus causing suction around a large surface area. Leaving a enormous crater in the midst of the dessert. Eventually these particles condensed becoming more and more humanoid. Within a few hours the condensed particles seemed to create so much tension the entire humanoid structure exploded deepening the present crater and leaving a steaming nude body with a partial mask in the epicenter of the crater. This newly created being stood up with a lost look on it's face the only welcoming committee was a few memories of scavenging around for a meal,and a knowledge of languages,arithmetic, Even a small idea of where he was who he was and why he was made. The biggest of this knowledge was recommended as first on his to do list. An urge to find a cover over skin arose ,and his mind knew where to find the appropriate amount of this cover. It was in a destination called Noches a few white pieces of cloth to cover himself was all it was. Thus he journeyed on his new feet on what he believed was the path to Noches.

His progress through the Hollow world was rather quick as he soon crossed int Muchos ,running into a feeding frenzy of Hollows. He decided to bully the mass of them by making his spiritual pressure more apparent. Unsurprisingly they all subdued to it flatten out on the grown rather quickly. With all this Reishi lying around a secondary frenzy arrived to suck up the mess. He didn't honestly like it that they were taking his kill so inevitably to him he attacked the group. Strike after strike Blow after blow with his power he had them at his mercy. Plenty of them fell within the first few moments of the beat down. He truthfully enjoyed it that he was champion of the battle. Numerous hollows stepped up to claim the mess of reishi as well as him ,but they too fell before the remaining few scattered into the expanse of Muchos. Unknowable to him the fighting had attracted a rare sight in Muchos...a Gillian. The massive tower of a hollow defeated the remaining hollows that Alvaro had not gotten into, and was now after him. It's feint movements made it an easy target for Alvaro's brute force. A single blow he made for his first attack seemingly causing immense damage. To the hollows mid-section ,it retaliated with nothing. He smirked at it's pacifist decision ,and struck another blow to the mid-section . Jumping well over sand and delivering a distinct secondary blow to the Menos. This time it retaliated with something greater than what he had expected. A fierce aura gathered around it's mask ,soon enough it condensed forming a blood like energy. Unexpectedly he shot forward narrowly making a fatal blow until Alvaro casually deflected the Menos's murder attempt. The shockwave from the deflection shot the towering hollow backward. A stunning sight for all to see within seconds it had fallen to the sands of Hueco mundo. Now a shear victim to Alvaro's attacks. He lifted off the ground now proceeding with a fatal blow to the Gillian's mask shattering it as white debris from the mask flew everywhere.

Yofuke travels with Ume and Ryu from the den that they call home into the further reaches of Hueco Mundo to the deserted wasteland know as Muchos. There he stops and looks over the area, “What is here for use to learn, Ume-chan? This area is full of weak beast-like Hollow that focuses purely on their hunger.” He knows seeing as this is where he was awaken and home to a terrible memory, but now standing near Ume with the smell plums filling the area, Yofuke seems calmer in mind with her scent nearby than if he was alone in this wasteland. Ume smiles as they stop in the great desert and says, "This wasteland is a perfect training ground for basic skills. There is little to nothing to destroy out here and there is often an opportunity to observe the low level hollows in their training. One thing you need to know is just that because these skills are considered weak, they are valuable just in case you want to minimize the damage you are causing." She forms up a bala in her mouth and takes aim at a rock formation. Once her mouth is full of the spiritual energy, causing a bright glow to emanate from her jaws, she lets loose and spits it out at the rock on the very top - blasting it to shards. Turning back to him, she says, "That was called bala. It has the power of half of your spiritual pressure and can be charged up pretty quickly. It only costs you a small amount of power so you can imagine how much damage you can do in a short period of time." She turns back to the rock formation and spits out a rapid fire barrage of bala - about 5 to be exact and pummels the fool out of the rock formation, reducing it to rubble. "Although not as effective as a cero, and only half as strong, it is worth mastering. You should give it a go."
Ryu smiles as he has already mastered this skill and spits his pathetic bala at the rock formation, barely leaving a mild score on it. "I can too!" The boy giggles and proceeds to try and imitate Ume, but he gets winded. "Wow ... you must have a lot of spiritual pressure, Ume. I can't keep up with you." The boy smiles as she gently dusts the top of his head.

Yofuke watches as the rock formation is hit with a barrage of Bala from Ume, and then Ryu's one Bla that scorches the stone. Yofuke sighs before he charges spiritual power into his mouth. After a short while he spits out a Bala followed by four more, his barrage cracks and breaks down some of the rocks, "Useful skill I guess, but blasting rocks is really boring." He looks over to a hollow trying ti form a Bala as a slightly larger hollow attacks it, "Maybe we should 'help' the little one?"Quote: Word CountYofuke: 2,913 words.
