((aww hehe I guess no one can see her where she is lol though then again she is white!! and can easily not be seen in the whiteness of the sand poor girl!))
Amalthea finally awoke, everything seemed hazy and she need water and fast or she very well could die, she tried her hardest to stand and with lots of effort and time she made it to all four paws. She swayed as she walked towards the oasis of water she seen ahead of her, oblivious to any other living creatures around her or what they might do to her for being there. Dizzy she kept on until the coolness of water seemed to touch her paws causeing her to collaspe into the water she laid there on her side as half breathing as water poured into her mouth from the side and she swollowed it letting her mouth fill with half water and half air as she breathed and drank, her eyes seem fogged as she moved her head so that half her face wouldn't be in the water. She new she wouldn't be able to move for a long time but at least the water was cool on her body as she let herself drift off back into some strange sleep in which she thought she might be dying.

((alright here's teh deal, I will respond with a post well worth it after a few hours of blessed sleep, school + soccer = hell, look I can do math... anyway, I promise I will respond with a good post tomorrow *nods* I'll just be slow for a few months I fear)) Koho's immediate reaction to Mwali was to protest, then a better idea popped into her head and she smiled serenly to cover for the hesitation, "Alright m'love, I'll stay back. If Jasiri wants to fight however I think she has every right, being that she is not endangering other souls besides herself, just yet." A mother-knows smile appeared on the femme's face when she glanced at the two chocolate lions. "However I agree, it would put others in unnecessary danger for me to proceed, being obviously a pridelander born after all." With that statement made she sat firmly done on the ground, purred to her mate and returned his affection and then looked to the cub, she was about to ask what the little one thought she would do during this escapade when something white caught her attention by an oasis they had stopped at earlier.
"But first I think I'm going to see if that is anything edible...." Her gaze was pointed directly at Amalthea and that was obviously who she was speaking of. The golden lioness rose to her sturdy paws once more and started off at a trot, making sure to angle to the creatures back, out of it's range of sight. As she neared however, it became apparent this thing was laying down and in no shape to run, but what sort of creature was it. Koho drew up to an abrupt halt, waiting to see if this thing was still alive or not and what other company might have come along for the adventure.
((not the best like I promised, but school is sucking all my brain power out at this minute, sorry ya'll))

Amalthea laid there her chest heaved with her breathing as she was in some sort of sleep, it took her a long while before she finally opened her eyes slightly. She had not noticed the other lioness yet and she moved her paws lightly and blinked. Her vision was blurred and she moaned as she felt the pain in her limbs from passing out in the cold water but at least she was alive, she felt like a small defencless kit and she knew if she didn't get up to move something would eat her. She tried to lift her head but only brought it back down to the muddy sand as a shot of pain stung her eyes. Her ears twitched slowly as she heard and felt another presence near her and with the sense of fear whelling inside she managed to try and push herself in the opposite direction of the blurred creature only to move slightly by an inch.... Many things rolled though her mind as she layed there and she thought this was the end of her short life, maybe the hynea's had followed her after all. She let out a small dry growl hiss as she continued to try and push her body, she wished she was able to stand but she knew her physical strength was far from it at this point in time, if only she had been given more time to heal from her long dry journay accross the hot sands.

Mwali licked his mate accross the bridge of her nose, "We'll be back as soon as we can, Koho. Just keep safe, I've no reason to live if something happened to you." He smiled, nuzzeling her before she made her way over to where she had assumably spotted something eatable. Smiling he moved over to Sukutu, reaching out to thump the chocolate male's shoulder, "Guess it's time for us to see just how scary we can look, eh?" He chuckled, starting off towards his pride's old den site.
The sand became hardened ground once again, dry and cracked so it looked much like reptilian skin, stretching tight along formations of rocks, the tiny, shrivled forms of shrubs, and the occassional patch of dried grass. The firekin's den was a large structure of stones climbing up to a large sloped cliff, a few caves opened up like fanged mouthes to face the pair as they approached, one could even swear that there was a hissing sound coming from those mouths as the wind traveled through it. "...just as charming as when I left it...", he muttered, lifting up his head and rolling his shoulders back to make himself look as large and dangerous as he was supposed to be.

The lion followed along side of the large red male, chuckling half heartedly at his comment before he puffed out his chest, making his muscled build look even bigger, even though he'd never look as big as Mwali could look. He really looked up to the red male, sort of like...he didn't know...a father figure. He'd never known his own father, seeing as he'd probably abandoned him, his twin sister and his real mother all alone.
As they came across the firekin lair, Suku's pale eye's widened, looking at it before a slight image flashed by his eyes, like a memory from one of his nightmares, only this time while he was awake. He shook himself, shuddering just a little before he looked over at Mwali, ears flattening against his creamy mane. "At least it has good foundations..." He said softly, only to boldly step forward, the hot sand half burning his soft pads as he looked around. "...it looks deserted"

Jasiri stayed back, haunting memories, floating around her head warily. She slumped down into the sand, keeping a close eye on the wandering Koho. The last time she had been here was a frightful one. Quite frightful indeed...She knew Makadari was certinly dead, but his voice still haunted her dreams once and awile. She was so close to becoming a slave. She would have been traped here with her friends to suffer, and possibly die. Where were her old friends now? They had seemed to loose them on there trip. Her dear brothers Tuele and Woko...and Taka. She had been quite close to the cheetah mother. And the little shy desert fox. She was going to miss her nervous antics. She loved them all, and hoped dearly that they had found peace. Hopefully the would all meet again someday. Jasiri thought now, of her future. She rested a paw lightly on her chest where the purple heart-shaped trinket lay loosly. She dreamed of starting a family someday, with Sukutu. He had lived in the Pridelands all his life, and that was where he was returning when this was over. She would go with him, and ask Mufasa to join the pride. It would be a safe inviroment for there cubs to grow up in. But...she had always been a roamer. Would she miss traveling all the time? If it was for her family, she would definetly stay put there, with her love. She gently rested her head between her paws, watching the sand drift with the never ending wind.

Koho was about ready to pounce on the seemingly lifeless carcass when the white pelt revealed it's self. A lioness?! Out here, and too weak to stand up to what was stalking her.... The poor dear... Koho's motherly instincts took over quite quickly. With a deft leap she landed neatly on the other side of Amalthea, facing her. Koho's soft eyes lowered to the dying white lioness' level, "You don't look like you belong here dear...." A soft smile propped up Koho's face as she began thinking. She couldn't be thirsty, she had just drained half the oasis, hungry most definately, but there wasn't much choice in that matter, perhaps a good, peaceful rest in the shade would be just the thing. "There is a nice rock casting a long shadow over yonder, if you will permit a mother lioness to care for you that is."
Koho's eyes quickly lifted up to the ridge, looking for Jasi, it would make it easier to bring this pathetic little thing up the slippert sands with help, but Koho had dragged Mwali half the length of the pridelands by herself so she wasn't too worried. A soft purr pulled from her voice box to reassure the little lioness, she looked barely older than a cub.... It looked like their magnetic personalities would attract another one. ((pleasure to rp with you silver XD))

((weeeeellll.... if you mean to time warp to keep cubbehs young, then no, I think it would work just fine for a juvenille/adult to surprise the pl's and send us packing, so I think just play your ages, I don't know why not...))

((OMG thankyou that this is back!!!! Though Ama's pic is her older one she still is just above being a cub for this rp)) Amalthea scared when the lioness lept towards her curled into a ball she remembered this from a kitten that one was to curl up to protect the soft underbelly, she flatted her ears as much as she could to her head. Then she heard the lioness talk to her in a gentle voice and she opened her eyes slowly to look up at her with pleading eyes. Amalthea was only a little bit bigger then the cubs,She had just weaned from her mother... and she shut her eyes tight again wanting to clear her memory of that. Her tiny body tried to move to stand but fell back down in front of the older lion. She let out a kittens mew as she hit the sand again. She had managed to pull herself from the water at least, she looked over to the spot, she was scared but at least this lionness was not going to eat her... would the others?? Maybe she should stay close to her.. She tried to pick herself up again and managed to crawl close to the older female a tiny rumble of a half purr coming from her was all she could manage at the moment for speaking.

((there. Placing him for now so i can throw him in later. X3 )) Wokovu trotted along the dunes, ears perked for any signs of life. So far it was nothing, not that the cruel desert heat bothered him. He wasn't sure why... But it never had, but that seemed normal so he didn't care all too much. He'd grown even more since he and his friends made it to the desert, he had the start of a mane coming in well, which he now showed off proudly as it gleamed in the sun.
Though the time had not been as kind to his adopted mother, Yakuti. The fennec fox slowly trodded along after him. She was getting older, too old to be keeping up with an almost full grown lion. Though the boy was kind enough to keep a slower pace for her... And there were perks. She'd have likely been dead by now if it hadn't been for her bodyguard-son.

(I am going to assume that Kinja and Kimeti had left to return to the den.)
The sound of movement and voices outside the den caused a red and black ear to flick. Blue eyes flickered open lazily as Kinja moved her head to take a look outside. The figures of two males was apparent causing Kinja's frame to stiffen momentarily. Rising to her feet she stalked towards the entrance, muscles tense and ready to attack whomever it was but a familiar red hue along with familiar voices echoed quietly in the den cauing Kinja to relax. Glancing behind her to the other lionesses who appeared to still be slumbering, Kinja hurried out of the den to Mwali and Suku.
"I am glad you two made it safely." She muttered softly.
Kimeti padded away from the oasis. His talk with his sister had proved interesting but had fed the flame of his Firekin soul. She was right, they were Firekin, and there was no way anyone was going to take that power and might away from him. Being the only male left of the pride, Kimeti knew he would be the reigning king once he came of age, but what of his sister Kwana? She seemed quite determined to take that seat away from him. A snort escaped him at the thought. He could easily overtake the smaller form of his sister if it came down to that.
A yawn rippled through him before he shook his head. The scruffy mane around his neck ridding itself of some of the sand and dust that had collected within it. The packed sand from many travels barely shifted under his paws and grew more compact as the den drew near. Golden orbs caught sight of two figures standing at the enterance to the cave, both apparently male. A growl formed in Kimeti's throat as he picked up his pace but a more petite form joined the two liones from the den, a form Kimeti could never misplace. So what was his mother doing talking to two strange males?
