>>She nodded, a that blush coming right back as his arms slipped around her. She chose to ignore the fact though that the degrees were only a commoner tradition...royalty settled for a cheek regardless. Commoner was more fun<< If I had told you...I would have missed all those priceless looks upon your face. >>Such as in the kitchen...with...everyone watching. The man had gone from his energized norm, to dreamily dazed. Maryline looked up at him, her arms sweetly coming around him as well, completely unaware to the watch behind her. Good thing that they were alone? Why...the next ring shouldn't be for another half an hour-She gave a little 'jump' of surprise at the chime, her eyes widening a hair. Now that just wasn't fair. She tilted her head up slightly right before his lips caught hers, completely. A flush of warm sprang to life in her stomach, fanning out to the rest of her body as her heartbeat quickened. Her eyes slipped closed as her fingers began to bury themselves in zells coat, drowning in the kiss as if by a sudden drug intake. Curse the watch. Oxygen. She needed air...of course. She inhaled deeply from her nose, her world steadying to reveal the majority of her body weight in zells arms, her legs weakly bent beneath her. When had that happened? She vaugely recalled the open door behind them, but paid it little mind as she clung to both her life raft and ocean<<

Zell felt her weaken and held her to him, keeping her up. Only his training seemed to be keeping his own legs from quaking with his love for her and the depth of their kiss. Willpower lending its strength as well. Breathless, chest heaving, he held Maryline even closer. Then leaned her back. Far back. Perpendicular to the floor even. Zell knew she was limber enough. Hyne knew he knew. Hell... her Arigon had to know. Somehow he balanced himself on one leg, raised the other to balance himself and Maryline... and with intent power snapped a sidekick to the massive door with the perfect balance of force to send it closing without damaging or even leaving a mark other than perhaps dirt from his dress boot if any remained on the surface.

Counterbalanced, the fistfighter brought his leg down as he lifted them back up. Breathlessly, eyes overbright, Zell relinquished their kiss. For now. Gently he backed her to the bed -the only place that would sit two- holding her even as one hand reached for his watch to fiddle with it once more. He did not set her upon it yet... but he wanted to be close for this next time, Zell was not sure he would be able to have the strength not to let his own legs buckle. "One... can't cover it..."

Murmured with husky passion and a twinkle in his hazel-blue eyes. A brow arched, waiting mere moments for his watch to chime again before claiming her lips once more and concluding he liked Renascibilitas very much indeed.

OOC: Psst...Perpendicular is when you make a 90 degree angle...I'm guessing her backs only parallel to it right?

BIC: >>Her grip tightened further on him as he leaned her back, her high bun pulling back on her scalp. She bended though, flexible muscles easily accomadating the odd position almost thoughtlessly as she tried not to drown. He did get a light bite on his lower lip however in reprimand at the shift, her bun now loosened from gravities manipulation. The door clicked shut, and she was pulled back up. A moment later, her lips were brushed with cold<< Zell... >>Her voice was breathy, face gleaming a faint pink in the candlelight. She was effortlessly moved back to her bed, her body still refusing to respond to her. One couldn't cover...if a kiss on the cheek was for a friend...a chaste kiss on the lips for a partner...<< Much...too sweet... >>She fell prey to his next kiss, her arms slipping from around his waist to have her hands slip up his chest, and around his neck. But this time, she returned it. Filled with passion and love, tinted with fear and need. Need for contact, need for comfort, need for him. Try as she might to be independent...she needed him<<

((yeah... I'm a dork. Was trying to type that up while getting Theron to eat breakfast and get ready for school... *sheepish* ))

She said that the kisses were on the degree of how one felt, and Zell had taken her examples as just that: examples. Not standards. It would be hard to say if he was showing her how he felt or just using it as excuse... no. Whatever the reason Zell was certainly putting his feelings into it so that there was no doubt of them. He may not have been able to write his girl a sonnet to recite as sundown... but with Zell Dincht actions spoke louder than words.

Except perhaps Maryline's words. Those words made Zell smile more into the kiss. Still it was the kiss itself that took his breath away. He thought he felt her fear and so turned the kiss a little more gentle without losing any passion, lovingly attempting to kiss her fears away or wash them away with love.

>>She was melted in his arms, held up only by Zells arms and her desire to continue the kiss. She was his, completely and utterly as she attempted to accept his gentle reassurances while not losing an ounce of her fire. But each second that ticked by had her wanting to rest upon her silken sheets more. A hand slipped up the back of his neck to rest at the base of his head, her heart pounding. A moment more, just one moment, and she broke the kiss for air. Sleepily, those blue eyes opened to look upon his face, her breathing slightly hitched. Just one moment. She tilted her face slightly more towards him to lightly nuzzle his cheek, her body overly-warm with both of them radiating heat<< I love you
PostPosted: Thu Mar 06, 2008 6:52 am

A soft, happy sigh as the kiss broke, hazel-blue eyes opening at the sound of her voice. Zell smiled, returning to her lips to brush them very lightly with his own but that was all. Even as the hairs on his neck were on end from how lovely her hand felt there. "Love you too, 'Line. Always."

With his right hand he cupped the side of her face, thumb gently caressing her cheek. "Need ta getcha in one'a those all-covering nightgowns I'm sure ya got here. Ya look about dead on your feet, woman-princess. Time to getcha to bed."

Another kiss, this one sweeter but not quite fully chaste. "Tell me watcha need and I'll fetch it." His hazel-blue eyes shone with it -the love he had again reaffirmed. Maryline was everything to him, and Zell would do anything for her. Fetch nightgowns, regain kingdoms. If she but asked or permitted. Only rare... the times he'd force her to accept those offers and then only when warrented for either her safety... or just plain fun.

If only I knew why. >>She gently teased at his comment of her weak legs. She was completely fine until he decided to deprive her of air for a good minute. Her hands slipped down his neck and shoulders to gently rest against his chest, her heart calming down as she continued to take deep breaths<< Well...first, you must let go of me. To the right is a door to my closet, and in the back are a variety of nightgowns. Chose whichever you deem best. >>A flick of a smile. All covering nightgowns? He had little to no idea<<
PostPosted: Thu Mar 06, 2008 11:31 pm

Zell grinned, knowing full well why and feeling pretty darn good about it too. Okay.... so the boy was on cloud 9 about it. He made a teasing look that maybe he wouldn't let her go that bordered but never quite became a wink. He didn't expect to do anything tonight -except perhaps continue to make Maryline week in the knees (therefore him too) every time a chime or bell was heard. Kissing her with a little more passion than before Zell sat Maryline down on the bed and trotted over with usual Zell-bounce in his step to where indicated. His tail swished happily behind him, simply happy to be in love (remember? not expecting anything) and to be loved in return.
Opening the closet door Zell grimaced then grinned while shaking his head at what he saw. They were about what he expected. Except for the stupid looking ruffly things down the front. Shrugging Zell just grabbed one (all looked about the same to him) hoping they were at least soft and trotted back to Maryline with it, gently shaking his head and grinning boyishly. "No wonder you gave that first nightgown such a look, woman-princess." Sitting down casually beside her, seemed Zell was intending to help her change.

>>Most likely a good thing he didn't expect anything. She couldn't imagine...in her old bed chambers of all...with her 'Father' just down the hall. She situated herself on the bed, her legs curled up beside her before she laid her head down upon a satan pillow. She forgot to tell him to bring her a shift...Ah well. Her eyes flicked up upon the soft noise of Zells return, and she shifted back up to a sitting position when he sat down beside her. Her face turned crimson. Surely he wasn't...well, how was she to get the buttons in the back? Her lady's maid was oddly no where to be seen<< Cheater...I do not know how...but you are. >>Slowly, she reached up towards her back and pulled down the long zipper. Yes, this wasn't the dress she was buried in. They had stolen that too. But it looked quite similiar to one she had once owned. She slowly slipped out of the garmet to let it drop over the side of the bed. And no matter how many times he had seen her before in less, she was sure to have her side to him, a little tilted towards the back in hiding. Here she began to pull out the boby pins and tie holding her hair up to send the golden waves spilling down her back. This was so she could move her hair infront of her as she reached behind her again. Cursed modern bras...she never did quite get the hang of all the clipping and unclipping of behind her without seeing. That was what lady's maids were for. She turned her back a little more towards him<< Ah...Zell...if you could... >>Mujaki walked down the long hallway, the maids that dotted the way dropping into deep curtsies. It freaked him out more then norm. What the everlasting nightmare was going on? They curtsied well enough, but they never responded to him...He had asked one if her day was fairing well, and she walked right past him! Was there something happening today that he was not aware of? He stopped upon the Princesses room, the king having sent him to check upon her one last time. He raised a hand to the door, about to knock<< Princess Mary- >>His hand passed right through the door<< . . . eek >>He yanked his hand back, looking at his limb front and back for damage. What work of glamour was this?!...The princess!<< Princess Maryline! >>He ran through the door without second thought, and instantly froze. There was the princess and there...there...there was the strange male the King talked of...but...but<< Mary... >>He couldn't finish, golden eyes stretched wide, perhaps perminately<< >>'Princess Mary-' She looked up, her heart giving a little skip in fear. Mujaki?! Her lips parted to tell him to go away...but there was nothing there. Was she hearing-? He barraled through the door, his hologram building having him pass through solids easily. He froze, and their eyes locked, her lips still parted, but now in surprise. A deep blush bloomed on her cheeks even as she began to cross her arms over her chest. Oh Arigon...<< S-Sir...Mujak...Mujaki...it...it is not what it appears... >>If only she could die on the spot<<

Zell could be a lot of unexpected things sometimes... but a master of 15th century woman's attire was certainly not one of them. Although he was probably about the only modern young man who knew as much as he did about the things he did know. So thinking of a shift with a nightgown didn't cross his mind. And why wouldn't Zell help her change? What else was he supposed to do in her room? Although somewhere Zell probably had some knowledge about princesses having dressing maids, he was not thinking about it at the moment. His boyish grin just widened at Maryline's accusation. "Cheater? Me?"

Softly, hazel-blue eyes watched Maryline undress. His expression one of love not of lust. Even the boyish smile softened, simply watching the cascades of gold even as he reached out with a finger to stroke an outer curl.

The corner of his mouth lifted at the request and he was about to bring his hands to do just that when the dragon's voice came through the door. Zell snapped his head in time to see Mujaki barreling through the door as if either he or it was not there. The hell?!? But before Zell could thing further on how he hadn't thought about the 'people' here being intangible his thoughts had bounced back to Maryline, realizing she was trying to cover herself. oh Hyne! With a sharp sound he was up from the bed, otherwise ignoring the princess' former knight and turning his back to him as Zell caught up the blanket on the bed and wrapped it around Maryline. He let his hand linger on her shoulder to keep it in place until she had it.

Now he could think. Maybe. His first thought a disappointment that there would be no time or even chance now likely of being Mujaki's pal . Falling on it's heels a massive dose of wondering what he should do or say next. Then... well at least he didn't come in on us kissing.

Swallowing, Zell flashed his grin and saluted the knight. "yo! Sir Mujaki, right?" Duh, 'Line was just saying that. At least he knew better than to think this Mujaki knew anything like the real one. How to tell him though that they weren't about to do anything bad when helping Maryline change and intending to stay the night with her both probably would be considered bad by the knight? Zell's grin was friendly and innocent -not the look of a perpetrator at all as he gave Mukaki a sheepish shrug. Really... what did Maryline want him to say under such circumstances? Thank Hyne they were only memory prints or holograms or whatever they were... but still... Zell didn't want to alienate them. They meant something to Maryline and on top of that.... dammit he liked Mujaki! Seriously - how could he blame the man for loving Maryline? He was damn sure that even though they had only the one night together that had ended in tragedy the love was there before. Which... well okay -it wasn't exactly fun to think about but Zell wanted to be fair. Suddenly his smiling face took a serious turn as he attempted to hold Mujaki's golden eyes. His voice likewise as well when he spoke again. "s'cool. I wouldn't hurt Princess Maryline for anything."

Hazel-blue eyes where filled with Truth on that. She was everything to him. Zell would die for her, but he would rather live for her.

>>Not what he thought? The male stood there in uncertainty, looking at the woman he so adored. How many years had they known eachother? Why hadn't he seen this coming? The sudden movement from the stranger sent his arm snapping up, clutching the silver hilt of his sword as he crouched. Four ticks, the blanket around Maryline. What was he doing? If Maryline wanted...if maryline wished...and they were not...if he had not told...what right had he to claim? The knight slowly straightened, his eyes turning sorrowful in the pain of a young man as he looked at Zell<< ...Aye...I be Princess Sangs personal knight; Sir Mujaki in service. My greatest condolensces on disturbing...>>he swallowed harshly, his voice failing him again with finishing as he dipped in a simple bow. Why hadn't he seen this?<< >>She was in shock, horrified at how badly things got so quick. Zells sharp movement snapped her out of daze, the blanket falling around her bare shoulders. Her lips closed as she looked up at the blonde, well aware of the lost look on her face. The lost helplessness she felt at the situation in whole. Slowly she reached up and took hold of the blanket before lowering her eyes back down to Mujaki. Her actual Mujaki...the one she remembered...the same boy she fell in love with<< What...brings you to my chambers...Sir Mujaki? >>Her chest was beginning to hurt again...but in a completely new fashion<< The King. >>His voice cracked with the prompt response, bringing a small wince. He wanted to hit the male he was staring at. He wanted to hit him so badly. For looking at his Maryline, for drinking in her touch, her silken skin...<< The King requested I check upon his daughter...He tosses with thought of her unwell. >>His head slowly lowered, eyes softly moving to the floor<< Parfay...Not what it appears...In alls respect m'lady...tis not well in any sight. For report...be this the first time he has come to your bedside? >>The question burned<<

((*winks* I'm not really back yet. ^_^ Just paid for wireless for a little bit. I'll be really back this evening.

*makes face* would you quit leaving me on lines that are being directed at Maryline? *razzes*))

Damn... but he felt sorry for the guy. And seeing Maryline's face... well it was hard to keep upbeat about anything. She look so lost. On one hand Zell wanted to pull her into his arms even in front of Mujaki. On the other... he felt like the interloper. Like somehow he did not belong with Maryline. That brought such an ache inside that his next words nearly trembled but somehow did not. He could see how the other wanted to hit him, and in truth Zell was fighting himself automatically going into battle ready mode. Couldn't blame the guy. Just as he couldn't blame the 'now' Mujaki wanting to test him. Didn't make anything any easier. Especially not knowing what to say or do, and the lost helplessness Maryline clearly was feeling at this situation. Hyne... still to someone not really real -Zell didn't want to lie. Would it just be easier if he answered? The question was asked Maryline, though the golden eyes had been staring at him just before. Now it was weird, both Maryline & Mujaki looking down while he looked from one to the other. Remembering when he first met Maryline... saying he was going to help her with her former knight... Hyne. He hadn't done that. He'd fallen for her instead. Dammit. Why did things have to be so damn hard?

"I've never been in this room before." Not a lie, not quite answering the specific question. Zell hated this. Hated making anyone feel as bad as Mujaki did. As his Maryline did. Even if Mujaki was just a memory imprint. Though his voice trembled it was more the SeeD answering then Zell's normal way of speaking. Straighter, somehow. Still... Zell's answer was open. Mujaki could read around what he said, or Maryline could fill in if she wanted. As for Zell, the SeeD's eyes were soft and firm at the same time. Maryline would know he was trying not to lie while trying not to make things worse.

And he could guess things could easily get worse...

OOC: >>sticks tongue out at<< you coulda commented more on if zell has 'come to lines bedside'. Or introduced himself. Or start wheeling him out of the room like 'okay, lines gonna KILL herself soon, time for you to go bye bye'

BIC: >>The situation burned. She saw zell shift in the corner of her eyes, but didnt look back up at zell...no...she was still watching her knight...former knight...love...old love...past love, her love. She felt like a fool, sitting there in nothing but underwear under silken sheets. She knew full well what Mujaki was thinking, what he was thinking. For one, he would have never suspected...never even thought...With her holding such high modesty, and him watching her every move, how could he?<< Aye...Sir Dincht has never been here before. >>Her eyes closed, hands tightening on the sheets as her heart raced<< However...it is not...the first time. >>He would report this to her father...she could at least make it so he didn't try to behead Zell for almost tarnishing her<< He has stolen my purity from Prince Zandrick. >>Was the memory of Mujaki based on the time after her arranged marriage to him, or before?<< Thusly...upon the eyes of Arigon, we have been wed. Sir Dincht is my betrothed. >>On that fateful night...that horrible, wonderful night...She had asked him if he would promise her forever. She meant it, the action as binding as marriage, with Arigon as a witness. In her mind, Zell had claimed the right...they just couldn't take it<< >>He nodded slightly, almost looking...relieved? The male looked up at Zell, relaxing subtly. He had stopped it in time<< For safety reasons... >>Maryline spoke. And his heart froze. What? He reached up to comb his fingers through his hair, his breath coming out raggedly. He wanted to gag. After hitting Zell. Hard. As it was, he swallowed his pride, ignored the stinging in his eyes, and dropped his hand<< For safety reasons...I shall escort thee to a closet. Before the sun arises and the castle breaks to a frensesye.

((*razzes again* I was tired and clearly (looking back) getting sick. *pouts* I think the thought crossed my mind to introduce him? O_o I think? And the whole point was he didn't wanna say.

But the other... I seriously don't think he'd do that. At least not at that moment.))

Zell went beat red to the tips of his moomba ears (if the black tips showed any change at all from the heat flooding them) as Maryline spoke. Duuuuuuuuuuuude! He wasn't sure he'd tell his mother that! And... wait... Had she mentioned this Prince Zandrick guy before? Zell couldn't remember. It certainly didn't sound good that 'he had stolen her purity' from the guy. And.... waitwaitwait! They were wed? Huh? When had that happened? Not that Zell minded... but... well... hehehe... Zell kinda wanted to do that right if Maryline would say yes. If he could become a prince...

Now wait... were they wed or betrothed? Dammit! He just didn't understand the changes in the language sometimes. Duude,,, this whole situation just sucked. Maybe the memory imprints wouldn't remember it if he & Maryline came back...

That was no help now though.

"Woah! Wait a minute! Safety reasons? And doesn't Princess Maryline get a choice?" Yeah... he was still blushing to beat the band but Zell remembered it was Maryline wanted him to join her here (not that he didn't though he'd thought he shouldn't) and they weren't going to do anything anyway. Well... not like that would please Mujaki. Poor guy.

Poor Maryline. Spinning Zell turned to Maryline and dropped to his knee beside her, hands on the bed as he looked up into her down-turned face. He did not make any show of caring that he just turned his back on someone who wanted to hit him, but the SeeD did not overlook it. Simply wasn't as important as what Zell needed to know. "Please... Tell me what you want and I'll do it in a heartbeat. You know that. I just don't know enough of your culture... and I keep flubbing things. I'm sorry... but I don't want ta do what I'm tempted and have it be totally wrong. What do you want..."

Hazel-blue eyes did not bother to hide the love inside as Zell spoke, his Adam's apple quivering. Love and respect. Maryline was a strong, independent woman. He would not order her around.

>>She watched as Mujaki's face dropped. It was one of the most painful things she had ever seen. On his soft features, distress clearly showed, the man still but a boy. Her Mujaki...poor Mujaki-Wait<< A closet? >>Wasn't that a private room? A rustle, and her heart skipped a beat at the sudden jerk of movement. Blue met hazel. Slowly, she reached out, and touched his cheek. Softly, gently, the princess brushed her fingertips against the base of his tattoo, her body relaxing in resignation<< You must leave. >>Maryline whispered, finger tips moving down to touch his jawbone. Arigon, she didn't want him to go. She knew it, he knew it<< He will tell the King...and he shall not be leniant if you are in my bed. >>What were they doing? The male took a step forwards, deeply frowning. Sweet last words? Wouldn't they see eachother in the morning...He was oddly bitter<< Sir Dincht? >>He wanted out of the room. he wanted out, and Zell away. Poor, poor Maryline...<<
