:::Suddenly a tall young woman of peek physical condition appeared in the brink. It appeared that she was in the middle of punching something, for she arrived with her arm extended, fist flying straight into the air in front of her. Her momentum had driven her forward, and with nothing to block her punch, she nearly fell head over feet:::
Woop! :::She caught her ballance, the punching bag was gone::
I'm back! :::her head darted from side to side, and she was disappointed to see, that there was no one there with her:::
Sigh...
:::She wiped off her brow of the sweat and moved to the bar, eyeing all the lovely bottles of wine...she'd only tried one kind...she smiled:::

:::Cora had made herself quite comfortable at the bar, she had taken a few sips of a new wine, when she heard something appear behind her. It sounded very low to the ground. She whirled around in her seat:::
Who's there? ::But there was nothing there::
Odd... I am most positive I heard a noise.
::Then she heard a scuttering on the floor. She looked again. Her eyes dashing left to right. She saw nothing, but she heard the echos of pitter patter again, getting closer:::
Who is there! Show yourself this instant!

:::Cora stood up straight, a cold shiver ran down her spine...whatever it was, had moved behind the bar... was only a foot or two behind her, on the floor. She heard it twitching:::
:::She held her breath, and turned in her seat as slowly as she could. Her palms placed on the counter as gently as possible, forearms lifting her off the seat to see what was hiding there, so close:::
:::When she was leaned far enough to see, a blur of grey fur skidded away, and hid behind a shelf:::
:::Cora jumped backwards off her seat, almost causing her stool and the others around it to topple:::
What in the world was THAT!!

Hm? Oh...it's nothing. The last time I was hear I kept hearing strange noises, and I swear I saw a small creature, here at the Brink...! Though, I do not hear it now.

A creature? I dinna know that the Brink has ever brought an animal here, before . . . but I daresay 'tis quite possible. *grins slightly* Most everything is, in this place.

I was worried for the both of you...i was a bit suprised to see the Captain in that form myself, but I can sense that his heart is true. It was very brave of you to stand up to him the way you did. I admire your courage.
