Yoko growled at the fight and ran over to where the dragon was. He could feel that his right arm was shattered, but he could also see that Tori was in much more trouble than he was. He jumped on the dragon's head, a dagger gripped in his left hand and began to help Tori, "You have more problems dragon."
((Tori can kill it, I just don't want him to die... and well, Yoko was his childhood friend... the dragon was close to the ground right?))

((Finally a savior!)) Tori saw Yoko stab the dragon again. The dragon just dug it's fangs deeper and brought one arm up and tried to crush Yoko with it. "Yoko?! Where have you been?!" Tori yelled with surprise, he couldn't feel pain, so he didn't know his limits... but he knew he would die shortly..... "Leave him to me! I'll do it-" Tori tried to say, but then he felt it, pain. Had the plant stopped working? He then saw how much blood was on the dragon and on the ground, and on him..... He kept stabbing the dragon, as if his life depended on it, and it did. He kept doing it and the dragon, ignoring Yoko so much as he always did, just dug his fangs deeper and deeper into Tori until........ Tori stopped, he let go of his dagger and fell un-moving onto his back. The dragon stopped, it was about to celebrate it's victory but noticed.... there was no more jewel on it's forehead... there was no more life left in him to protect.... The dragon gave off such a roar, it was deafening, but soothing...... It let go of Tori's mangeled and crushed body and fell sideways... lifeless.... the jewel no longer on it's forehead..... Tori no longer moving.... breaths..... gone from both creatures..... ((Time for the water works.))

Ashira gasped and looked over, "Oh God!" she struggled to stand after sitting only a few moments and paled, "That bird demon boy.. he's getting torn apart.. we have to help!!"

Yoko jumped off the dragon right before it fell and ran over to Tori. He checked for a pulse, but didn't feel one. He buried his head in his arm and muttered to anyone that could hear him, "I think he's dead." He began to cry into his arm, but wouldn't let anybody else see it.

She instantly broke down into tears, hiding her face against his chest, "Hiei-sama..." she sobbed.

Tori looked around. It was all white.... he then blinked and looked down.
'Woah, why's everyone crying? Hm.... Woah! Is that.... me?!' gasped Tori as he looked down and saw his mangled and bloodied body....
"Does that mean.... I'm dead?" Tori said outloud in an attempt for anyone to hear him..... it seemed no one did, they just kept on crying and such.....
Then as Tori started to notice the horrible truth something appeared behind him, it was large, and black and it had shimmering golden eyes. It peered down at him. Tori sensing someone looking at him turned around. It was the dragon.
'So you want to fight even in death now?!' yelled Tori as he made a fighting pose. He was in midair, he didn't have to flap his wings to stay airborn though.
'No, I have not come to fight you...' said the dragon. Tori stuttered, it was the first time he heard the dragon talk.
'What?! You can talk?!' Tori bursted, he couldn't control himself.
'Yes I can. And I have a question for you and an answer.' said the dragon as he looked down at Tori. Suddenly he started to miniturize and turned into his soul's appearance. It was a tall man, with long dark hair and markings all around his face and the flesh that showed. He had golden eyes and a marking on his forehead, indicating where his jewel was. He also had clothes (no duh).
'W-what are they then?!' gasped Tori as he didn't expect anything like this.....
The dragon closed his(yes his >D) eyes and looked down at Tori.
'I have come to say, I fought you, for I had been in debt to RyuKaze-' started the dragon as Tori butted in.
'So it was him all along! I should have know-'
'Child, let me finish. I, as a dragon I am, pay my debts back, but at a price. It seems that RyuKaze seemed to have planned this from the start and, as I did not want, had to attack you... he blinded me with false rage and, in an attempt to kill your friends, lost myself. Now, as you can see, I am dead, but I cannot rest in peace without knowing that RyuKaze is in his grave.' said the dragon silently as Tori stood there open mouthedly.
'S-so what do you want me to do? I'm already dead...' started Tori as the dragon smiled.
'You can do more than you know. I, a tainted soul, cannot return to the living. But, if I am lucky, I may be able to return you to your body, or, if I am mistaken, you will be stuck in limbo. I can transfer my powers I had while I was alive, from the jewel inbedded in my forehead. I say this, because if I do give you my jewel, your body can mend itself in a few days..... but if I didn't, well, you'd come back straight here. So now, I give you a choice child. What do you want? To seek revenge for ever one of your friends, and for this poor soul, or would you like to return to the living?'
Tori had to wait a moment to register what the dragon was saying. Going back to live so he could avenge his murderer and his friends or go on into death, and get reborn....
It took a few moments....
'I-I accept! I will go back to the living! I will avenge you!' spilled Tor is he was shocked at his sudden will to live.
The dragon closed his eyes and smiled.
'Ah, yes. I thought you might say that.' And as if an invisible force pulled Tori, he felt something tugging at him, leading him, he then felt something on his forehead and saw the dragon had ripped out the jewel from his head and started to chant something and the jewel started to go into Tori's forehead.
'Does it have to be on my forehead?' asked Tori humorously, he felt better now that he was going back to earth....
'No, unless you'd like it somewhere more interesting.' replied the dragon, smiling as Tori looked at him bewildered.
'So you do have a sense of humor!' said Tori happily as the dragon finished his enchantment and stood up from his crouching position. He then looked down at Tori and smiled.
'Of course I do, you never knew me long enough to know my characteristics' said the dragon smiling, as Tori felt something start tugging him away. He then looked back to the dragon, he seemed to be smiling. He suddenly saw he was a few inches away from where he was standing.
"Hey what's your name!" cried Tori as the dragon only kept smiling and just walked up to him and (gasp) pressed his lips on Tori's cheek. (>D I am so evil) Tori, automatically pushed the dragon away and started to rub his face.
'Ew! Gross man! I didn't know you played for the other team!' yelled Tori, rubbing his cheek furiously.
'Hahaha, just a good bye present, make sure to give it to your friends too' said the dragon, a leer coming from him.
'Hey! You pervert!' cried Tori as he then felt something, opened his eyes and gasped. He suddenly stood up and looked around. He saw that he was back in Makai, and back with the crying of his friends. But then he noticed that the dragon was gone.....
"Hey! Miss me anyone?" asked Tori grinning, ignoring the pain in his abdomen as he smiled at the crying faces.

Wow, the dragon actually liked one of the girls.... hm....... I wonder who it was....... *glint*
Did you all miss Tori? >D Lead you on didn't I? ninja *was going to say something else but forgot*))

Yoko looked up at the sound of Tori's voice and smiled, "You do know how much that scared us right. Don't do anything that reckless again." he poked the jewel on his forehead, "And what's with the jewlery?"
((I'll be gone for a few days feel free to puppet untiul I get back.))
