Two questions. One- Where did Hidden Wind's technique list go? I was going to learn the sword ones.
Two- Apparantly Soul Caliber takes whatever form the user wishes, what sort of limits does that have/can I have the blade have an ability? (I had come up with a fun idea for a blade, but it's kind of out there. It only really works with the ability, otherwise I'll come up with something else.)
What I had coem up with was the blade takes the form of a bladeless hilt and crossguard. When Hedoro picks it up, it harmonizes with her, creating a cerulean transparent blade about twenty feet long. It weighs virtually nothing. It would have a reality-warping power, where whatever it cuts becomes seperated, it can technically cut through almost anything, while not cutting at all. Vague, I know. As an example, if Hedoro used it to cut someone's head off, the head would come off, but the skin would never be punctured. The bottom of the head would be covered with skin as if it had always been that way. The body could still move around at the head's direction, it can still breath, and so on. They just seperated. Basically a disorienting move, although it could be used to lop a hand off so the opponent couldn't necessarily use jutsu. (Unless they could do them one handed or something.) This effect is only temporary, everything goes back to normal once the battle has ended. (Unless the person can't find their part, in which case it may take a little longer.) The blade affacts more or less everything. Balloons, barriers, people, air, ground, and so on. It could be used defensivley, using it's distortion to hide behind from an attack, but it can't kill. At least, I haven't thought of a way in which it could.
So how does that sound? And if it's legit, would that be the sword's ability, or would I need to use a made-up slot once I have another?

Sounds nifty sorta like event rejection from Bleach, but still kinda different.

Yeah, they are kind of close, now that I think about it. (I'd actually gotten the idea from Marvel Comics' Proteus.) Well, while I wait for an oficial response on that and Hidden Wind, I think I'm going to try and decide where to train next. Maybe Nanao and Leaf?

Nano has so many nifty techniques 3nodding
I actually have my own questions about my blade.
Is it supposed to be following how the blade really is in the story?
If so, isn't the user supposed to be able to use the blade without combating it if they use the gauntlet? From what I've read the fight only takes place if it used without the gauntlet.
And can the challenge of wills the sword inspires affect an opponent if they are struck with the blade? Wouldn't it put a mental strain on them similar to a strong genjutsu causing mental stress similar to Tsukiyomi, but not necessarily as strong?
Oh yeah, and it can cast a light only the user can see, but does that also mean that the light creates shadows only the user can see? They seem to be concepts that walk hand in hand.

Are the villages there for nothing more than to practice new jutsu? At this point, that's what it seems like.

AtakiRay Are the villages there for nothing more than to practice new jutsu? At this point, that's what it seems like. The Village is used to train for the jutsu that can be learned there. It is also where your character's profile is stored if you are a member of that village. The villages get used sometimes in the Story Lines ((SL)).

Hyuga_Kazama Academy Student 500-5000
Genin 5000-50,000
Chunnin 50,000-80,000
Jounin 80,000-Unlimited
Kage Unlimited I need to ask. Once a Genin breaks 50k, are they automatically a Chuunin?

i dont think so. its the general ranking system meaning if your SP is over 50k then your abilities could rank a Chuunin even if you are a genin.
Kama is a Jounin and hes barley over 20k. it also depends on how well you use your skills too.

This may be incredibly newbie of me, but how exactly do we learn new techniques past the academy stage? I'm fairly clueless when it comes to what to do on that matter...
