Once Takara had gotten the proper padding on, she bowed to her partner, a girl she'd never met before. She noticed the sad expression on Catalyxe's face, but knew nothing she could do would help. He needed healing of the sort only time could give. She kept her sword sheathed but stood in a defensive position, waiting for Catalyxe's cue to begin dueling.

Kyosuke looked down at his bag after hearing the pairings.
"The best against Koori would be... hmmm... Not a singular weapon. The claws."
He opened the bag and took out two wrist based claws. Each claw went over and locked onto a finger, when in place. The claws were each a foot long and double sided and when closed, locked into place on the wrist, leaving the hands free for punching and a near perfect guard. Each side of the blades was sharp enough to cut clean through steel. He put them on and went and dawned the protective gear.
Koori began to sence the depth of Kyosuke's new power trying to figure out a good method of attack to use on him. She began to sweat at the new magnitude of power.
s**t... Not good. He's gotten much more powerful... And the blood lust, I dont think the armor is really gonna help...
She stood up and went and put on the armor and went to the rack of weapons. She took out two kodachis. She walked up next to Kyosuke. For the first time in a while she found it hard to talk to him. It was like a small tug on her heart as she got closer the tug grew. When she finally stood next to him, she realized what all of his victims felt before they died. Pure terror.
"Well... Cant say I'm happy about this arangement..."
"Dont worry... I wont kill you, not that I can hurt you badly in anyway. A friendly match every once in a while is good for the team. You ah, you may want to clam down before we fight. I could take you down in one stroke while your in this condision."
He walked past and patted her back as he past. Just as he past she remembere about the jewel in her gym shorts pocket. She quickly went over to Catalyxe, with the jewel in hand.
"Sensei... Megami-sama asked me to give this to you."

Catalyxe looked at Koori with a slightly confuzzled expression "Koori, what is....." He cut off, deciding not to bother her with the details. "Thank you....by the way, do not worry abotu Kyosuke, I know that the protection will be useless, that is why I am taking neccessary.....precautions....of my own, before you two begin. Now, if you will excuse me, I must deal with one more pairing" He walked over to Takara and Kanu, and gave them the signal to start. He looked at the Jewel for a bit, taking note of the beautiful shade of violet it was. He then noticed the puce blood encrusted on the back of it, and he thought back to Ryan and the Jewel currently embedded in his forehead I wonder.....are they connected? He decided to put it away for now, but the jewel began to glow faintly for a bit, then suddenly as if run by it's own will, jetted to his chest and embedded itself in between his pecs. He staggered a bit, but regained his posture Damnit, what is this? Oh, well, I suppose it can't be helped now He walked over to Koori and Kyosuke, and he could sense both the insane bloodlust of Kyosuke and the feelings of dread from Koori. "I want a good clean match, BEGIN!" He signaled them to start., and at the same time drew his stored Chakra to a focal point, and released it as a barrier around Koori that made her gear as strong as adamantiteSorry, Kyosuke, but I am afraid I cannot allow you to go overboard, for your sake as well as hers
He went back to his desk and leaned against it, rather than sit behind it. He sighed heavily "Cyrus......"

Takara bowed once more as Catalyxe initiated the fight though she stood still, waiting for the other to attack. The girl sprang forward, her weapon a whip which she snapped, trying to wind it around Takara. Takara jumped back, easily dodging the whip for a few moments before deciding to stay in one spot. This time, as the whip came, she allowed it to wrap around her arm and pulled at it, causing the surprised girl to fly forward a few feet on the mat. Takara walked forward and helped the girl up, handing her back her weapon and making sure she was ok.

As soon as Catalyxe signaled, both bowed and disappeared. An instant later the distinct clash of steel could be heard in several places at once. Kyosuke slowed to give Koori a fake opening, becoming visible he did a sideflip 180 and he readied himself for Koori's next attack. As she lunged at him a small glint in between Kyosuke's fingers caught her eye. She stopped and perform several backflips as scalples plnged into the ground at her feet and hands. She stopped and disappeared again. The scalples freed them selves from the ground, flipped around and plunged back into kyosuke's body. When they pierced his skin they were abosrbed back into his bloodstream. Koori renewed her assault and lunged back, in a feint attack, from the right and attack from the left. Kyosuke dodged the blow, he quickly elbowed Koori's armored chest, planting a weak delayed Ki attack in Koori's left shoulder. He then feinted an attack at Koori's head she dodged with another backflip. As her left hand hit the ground, Kyosuke completed the delayed Ki attack and Koori fell over in the middle of the flip. Her left arm now useless for a while. She pushed off the ground with her right arm and slowly stood up. She was now gripping her left shoulder. Blood dripping down from between her fingers as her left arm just dangled at her side. The Ki blocking all nerve signals for about ten minutes. The only thing it didnt effect was the blood vessels. Kyosuke stood there staring at her. Koori's ninjutsu attcks effectivly neutrilized for now. Kyosuke took of claws and threw them down. Kyosuke disappeared once more and a single scalple appeared from between his middle and index finger as he now rushed Koori. He landed what seemed to be one more blow to Koori's armor leaving a large J carved into the armor. A second strike carved a B above the and to the left of the J. A thrid strike made the B and J glow red and his own blood flowed threw the letters. in a flash the whole top layer of the newly chakra endowed metal was gone. Several scalples of the new strengthend metal lay on the ground. Kyosuke now picked up the scalples and stabbed himself with them, absorbing them into his blood. He could now use the strenghtened metal at his own disposal. Not feeling the last three strikes Koori looked on in horror as her head filled with thoughts of dying. A second after his rush it was over. He was now holding up the weakened Koori.
"Its over..."
"Sorry for the scare..."
The other students watched in awe as the fight came to an end.

Catalyxe blew his whistle to signal the end of the matches. "Alright, students, that is enough for today" He walked over to Koori & Kyosuke "That was a nice match, I didn't think you would be able to break through my fortifications....you have gotten stronger, Kyosuke.....Miss Koori, you held your ground splendidly, but I am afraid I must send you to the Nurse's office so she can tend to your arm." He placed his hand on her good shoulder and turned to take her just as the bell signaled the end of class "Your assignment for tonight, students, I want you to write an essay about fortifications and how the body's energies play a role in battle. It is to be one page handwritten. That is all" He bowed to Takara as she left, signalling that she had done well. He turned to Kyosuke "Please escort Miss Koori to the Nurse's office, and let her know Miss Koori needs to be seen." He wrote them each a Pass, then walked over to his desk to prepare for his next class

Takara stood by, carefully observing the fight, and noting how much stronger Kyosuke seemed from the last time she'd seen him fight. Even she felt a bit tense, wondering if he would possibly kill Koori. Once the fight was over, a sigh of relief escaped her lips and she bowed to Catalyxe before leaving for her next class.

"Sure. Good match Koori-chan."
After they finished removing their armor they left for the nurse.She smiled faintly and held her arm as they walked to the nurses. She was thinking about Megami. There was an air of awkwardness between the two.
"You were scared... Thats the first time I have ever felt that from you. You have found someone... And you gave your heart to that person. The same way you gave me yours after we teamed up. So as of now... your released from your duties to me. You have my blessings, if that counts for anything."
He just looked forward as he spoke. She looked down at the ground as he spoke.
"Thank you..."
"I just hope whoever it is, is good to you."
The rest of the walk was silent and he dropped her off at the nurse and explained how to deal with Koori's injured arm. When he finished he left the nurses office and began to go back to his class when he suddenly felt a new burst of power within him.
Master... I have processed the souls from yesterday and you now can control the power gain from them. The dark energy running within you is very powerful and can become stronger with practice. The power to consume the souls of the dead, you can use it when you want to. To use it concentrait and say the words ki kuu(consume spirit) it may also be used on living opponents. Einlanzer has yet to find a new host. Though I could sence a good candidate within your last class. That demon girl...
Thats good to know... Soon we could be at equal power then?...
Yes, if she accepts the power of Einlanzer. I will amplify her power to that of a god, just as I will to you. though if you battle, she will always have the upper hand. For Einlanzer draws on the power of love...
I will master new techniques of my own... A good fight will present itself soon...

Tony, who hadn't bothered to change out of his street clothes, walked away from the gym with a slumped head. He hadn't touched his sparring partner, but also hadn't been touched. He had spent the entire match dodging the seemingly clumsy strikes with his hands in his pant pockets. He had seen most of Kyosuke's fight and smirked. He simply rolled his eyes at the assignment. He probobly wouldn't do it, mainly because he had three funerals to plan. He made it inside his next class just as the bell rang. He noticed the substitute glaring at him. In all honesty, he was supprised that they even kept the school open now that an entire wing was missing.

Takara entered her next classroom, books in hand, a few seconds before the bell rang. Taking her seat, she prepared to take notes, and once again wondered why on earth she was here when she knew enough of the subjects and probably wouldn't use most of it anyways. Her thoughts wandered and she pondered what else would happen. Why had things suddenly fired up? Perhaps there was a connection, but what? With a sigh, she returned to the present and half-listened to the teacher's seemingly endless lecture.

Just as the bell rang Kyosuke sat down in his seat. He began to drift in thought to where Einlanzers spirit could be at this time, and how Takara could be a candidate for her power. That could make her the most formidable foe he'd ever face. Even if it wasnt their destiny fight, she would have a massive upper hand. She knows how to control her ki and he has yet to even try to master it into a usable source of power. As he thought more he became frustraited. He suddenly felt a twinge in his abdomin area.
"Sensei, I need to use the bathroom."
"Fine make it fast."
Kyosuke stood up and left the class going toward the restroom. As he made it part way the twinge grew into a bad feeling. He went to the bathroom and washed his hands. The feeling was making him sweaty so he washed his face too.
"Ugh... What is this feeling...?"
suddenly he had the urge to leave the building, so he did. He walked around back avoiding the hall monitors and went behind the gym. A few seconds later his Senken kicked in and he ducked as a white fireball passed over his head.
"The hell?"
"Forget about me, did you?"
A familiar face stepped out from behind a bush.
"I have come back... for my eye sight... and your life..."
"Raven?!"
The ******** is he still doing alive?!...
A second later Kyosuke dodged another volly of fireballs. His scalples slid from between his fingers and he threw a set of four at Ravens face. He ducked and the scalples passed through a tree.
"Damn?! You can hear them cant you?!"
"Being blind sure has its advantages. Now die b*****d!"
Raven raised his right hand and another white fireball exploded from his hand, immediatly breaking the sound barrier causing a very load bang.
"NOOOO!!"
Before Kyosuke could react the ball was right a few inches away from him. A small black dot appeared. The ball hit the dot and exploded making it seem as though it hit. Kyosuke was flung back into the wall.
"Damn, when he get so damn strong?!"
"I have had nothing better to do except train since I became blind. So I did and my power increase 100 fold... I can sence Takara around here... Not even she is strong enough to stop me..."
"..."
Just as he finished the sentence Kyosuke slammed his palm onto the ground and called out the call words to his new skill.
"Ki kuu!"
A large black intricate design burned itself into the ground and trapped Raven where he stood and Kyosuke where a sat. Raven's eyes opened and a black energy shot out, he let out a silent scream and the energy passed through his mouth as well. Suddenly four spikes made of pure dark energy sprouted from the ground and jut into Raven painfully wrenching his soul from his body. Raven's body fell limp, engulfed in darkness and disappeared. The spikes turned back toward Kyosuke and forced Ravens soul into him. His soul was absorbed into the new power immediately. The dark energy disappeared and Kyosuke sat there in shock at what had just happened.

Takara sat bolt upright as she sensed a familiar presence outside the school, just as Kyosuke's joined it. Her face paled as she remembered what had happened last time they met and realized what they would probably do now. She raised her hand and excused herself from class, running once she was out of sight, her form a mere blur. From the energy explosions she sensed, she was afraid of what she would find when she arrived. Seconds later, she came on the scene, seeing a dark aura enter Kyosuke and nothing else. Raven was no where to be seen. Her eyes were wide with shock; he was gone, she couldn't sense his aura anywhere. Takara slowly walked forward to spot where she had last sensed him, staring at the ground. She then lifted her gaze to Kyosuke, her sorrowful blue eyes glistening with tears; Raven had been a good friend. Her voice was soft as she spoke.
"What happened?..."

"He attacked me... Just out of the blue... I didnt even know he was there... He was about time kill me and then I dont know what happened."
His eyes didnt lift from the spot where Raven had just been standing, still wide with shock. He was shaking.
"Something just happened like instinct... Then all hell broke loose... I guess you could say literally... Then he... he was gone..."
He lowered his head and looked at the ground around him. The grass around him was burned to cinders.
"That... was the first time... The first time I have ever been scared for my life..."

Takara closed her eyes to hide her grief. She'd spent a great deal of time with him, and now he was just gone. When he left, she knew he'd come back some day, but never thought he'd have to leave so soon. She didn't blame Kyosuke, and felt no desire for revenge since Kyosuke had only acted in defense; she was simply sad. She kneeled down, allowing a single tear to fall to the ground as she released her energy into the ground and watched as it rippled across the burnt area like little ripples. What remained of the grass collapsed into ashes and they were replaced by new green blades. Looking at them, it seemed as though time were speeding up right before your eyes as the plants emerged from the ground. At the point where Raven had last stood, a sprout stronger than the others came forth, and it grew rapidly, reaching towards the sky and unfurling its leaves. A minute later, a young sakura tree stood there, the wind picking up a few blossoms and carrying them through the air. It was her tribute to her friend. Takara placed a hand on the tree's bark and reverently spoke.
"May you find peace, old friend..."
She stood and looked to Kyosuke, knowing they should return to class soon and gently reminded him. Her eyes were a soft blue and showed no ill will towards him, she blamed no one.
"We should leave..."

"Y-yeah..."
He stood up and looked at the Sakura tree for a moment and then walked away without a word. He shook his head and tried to get rid of the images of Raven's soul being ripped from his body.
He will never descend or ascend, his soul will be forever lost in a purgatory like no other... He will never rest... Nor will the others destroyed by this skill... But with use, it will also destroy you... Only through the cooperation of the bearer of Einlanzer and myself can any be put to rest...
