SaberFireTiger Why? Tell us why! I mean I kinda lost my faith in Korean movies already but why! Resident evil extinction anyone? It was bad acting and one movie/plot cliche right after the other! It was only slightly amusing because we were predicting everything and laughing when it happened. gonk
(I am SO going to see RE3 tomorrow...)

I saw I am Legend today, and it was really good. Will Smith never ceases to amaze me. It was basically him on screen for almost the whole movie. The movie was intense and it kind of freaked me out.

Ooh! I saw it too! Why is it that in every Will Smith movie theres a shot of him working out with his shirt off?.... rolleyes
Anyways... He seemed pretty dense when the main dark seeker was all upset that he took the female one away. And that they were showing emotion and rational thought. I mean they set a trap for gosh darns sake!
The ending was really crappy, too. Not as bad as The Mist's ending, but still pretty messed up.
Attention Hollywood: We need happy endings every once in a while. Put Steven King on the back burner and make us a movie that doesn't want to either kill ourselves or ask for our money back at the end.

I haven't seen it, it's a wait-til-it's-on-dvd movie, for me.
I can't wait to see AvP2, though. twisted
And Cloverfield looks spiffeh.

Have you seen The Dark Knight trailer? Heath Ledger as the Joker is creepy. I mean the make-up is all over the place which I guess adds onto the psycho persona.

Yeah, I saw a preview for that in the theatre. It was creepy. He makes a great joker, but I wanna see him with the classic make-up, not gross splashed on paint.

Yeah I know, the make-up is terrible I say. Just do the regular stuff and it would be perfect. And am I the only one annoyed that Katie Holmes isn't coming back? I hate it when they change actors. Then again I hate the idea of Bruce being with one woman like that anyways, he is supposed to be a player right? Or if he is with one girl it had better be Selena Kyle/Catwoman.

I enjoyed I Am Legend.
But.
* The second half didn't live up to the build-up of the first. * The "monsters" could have had another dimension added to them. * The heroic sacrifice wasn't really necessary. I suppose they thought a real happy ending would have been disingenuous, but I think if the writing for the film had all been as polished as it was in the first half they could have pulled it off. * I didn't really appreciate the almost token religious themes which were suddenly introduced in the last third of the film. I think they toyed with messianic ideas, but beyond general themes of heroism they didn't take it too far and I appreciate the restraint. [It would have been nice if they had kept the specific religion ambiguous beyond ideas about greater meaning, but thanks to the shot of the cross and the wording, no dice].
Why is there a shot of Will Smith working out shirtless in every film he's in? Because he's still hot.
I don't think there was one in Pursuit of Happyness, though.
Saber: I just didn't like Katie Holmes's character. I think when she left they could have just ditched her character and nobody would have held it against them -- and I totally agree on Selena Kyle.

I totally forgot about the religious part to it... That was making me roll my eyes, too. It wasn't really offensive, but it did get a bit tedious. xp

Batgirl was okay too. I find it funny how young they made her in The Batman. Haha, Batman is a *****! Did anyone catch the Batman-Superman symbol on a billboard during I am Legend? Oh heck. Here.
