She tied off tha rather well-padded bandage with an extra hard knot and then rested her forehead angainst his shoulder, still feeling like she had no right to touch him or anything else. "I'm so sorry. This is my fault. This is all my fault."

The vampire felt something, although he didn't know, in the tavern he was looking at. His emotionless, blue eyes scanned it for any unique qualities, but he didn't know what power was attracting him to it. Perhaps he would find the answers inside the bar. Opening the door, Daragio Rahl stepped inside, his quick eyes appraising the patrons. Bowing his head in a silent greeting, the vampire made his way for a shadowed corner, his black cloak flowing, two shealths revealed underneath it.

Daragio's gaze quickly went to a man who appeared to be injured. "Is something the matter sir? You don't appear to be doing well. If I could be of any assistance, let me know."

Kage glared at her, but she ignored him; she had become much better at that. "I'f I'm keeping you sane, how did I manage to injure you like this? I'm not fit to be your wife."

She barely managed to supress a giggle. Great, now she was getting hysterical. She just leaned her forehead agisnt his shoulder, trying desperately not to burst into a fit of giggles or to start crying or both.
Kage was just staring at her with a "what the hell is wrong with you?" face.

She stood up with him, in case he needed help standing. "Are you going to be okay?" She asked, getting her brief moment of hysteria under control. Her eyes were a bit red from her earlier crying, and she wiped them off, feeling a bit sheepish.

"Well, you should get your rest okay, if you want to heal properly." She told him, still rubbing at her eyes. They itched now, and she needed to wash her face. "Just promise you won't scare me like that again, alright?"

"Do better than try." She said, smiling back at him and now feeling much better. "Now then, off to bed with you." She said, pushing him towards the bed. "You need to sleep, and I need to clean up the mess."
