Never Again...Herald raised his arm as the white fireball reached him, exploding just in front of him. He growled slightly as he felt the burn of it. Stronger than he thought. Emma had certainly unleashed a large amount of power in this form. He lowered his arm, smoke from the fire still steaming off of it. In an instant he was moving towards her, wanting to test what she could do in close range. He started out with a punch towards her face that would be followed with a punch towards her gut and finally a roundhouse kick to the side of her head. Will I be bound in chains

Her one ear twitched slightly as Herald sent the roundhouse kick and one arm quickly went up to protect her head. Once the kick came in contact with her arm, she only moved slightly but didn't seem damaged. Never Again...Herald returned Emma's fire with fire of his own, exhaling bright green flames. The two flames collided in mid-air giving off a swirl of green and white fire. For a moment they held each other. Then slowly but surely, Herald's green flames began pushing Emma's back. It was much slower than Herald had expected and he ramped up his power to increase the speed. Will I be bound in chains

Her hair flared up as she aimed to push Herald's flames back. Never Again...Herald frowned slightly as he realized his flames had once again been halted to a standstill. Suddenly he stopped breathing flames and Emma's flames rushed forward, overtaking him as he disappeared into it. But in moments he reappeared, bursting out the other side of the flames on Emma's side, arm cocked back to deliver an uppercut to her chin. Will I be bound in chains

She ended up taking the uppercut and getting launched in the air. Never Again...Herald looked up as Emma was launched in the air. He took a deep breath as the fireball came towards him. As it was about halfway there Herald released his breath, shooting up a plume of green flames. They collided with the white fireball, holding it up like a geyser holding up a ball. Suddenly there was a detonation of flames that spread over a wide swath of the realm. He'd definitely have to repair that later. While she was above him he took another deep breath and exhaled his flare artillery ability, Hundreds of fireballs launched into the air, arcing straight towards Emma. Even if she dodged them, they would rise higher and begin to fall to the ground again, making it more difficult to dodge without getting hit by one of them. Will I be bound in chains

White flames launched from her hands and sent her shooting down towards Herald while dodging the fireballs and going through some as well which appeared to cause burns on her body. She didn't seem bothered by this though and kept going. A sword made of flames appeared in her hand and she swung it once she was close enough, a large explosion of white flames occurred around them. Even though it was launched directly at Herald, Emma was knocked back slightly from the shock wave and skidded to a halt on the ground, a barrier going up as some of the fireballs began raining down around her as well as white flames. ☾± : . : ± : . : ± : . : ± : . : ± : . : ± : . : ± : . : ± : . : ± : . : ±: . : ± : . : ± : . : ±

Never Again...Herald jumped backwards as Emma's sword came at him, once again being engulfed in white flames. He shook them off as he landed, focusing his resonance force. "Afterburn" he growled. The markings on Herald's body began to glow brighter as flames shot out of them. His power sky-rocketed before he virtually disappeared, reappearing right in front of Emma as he aimed a full punch directly at her face. Will I be bound in chains

She grimaced as her one ear ended up ringing rather loudly. Never Again...Herald felt Emma's uppercut hit him in the chin, knocking him slightly upwards. He shook his head quickly, regaining his composure while she was still in front of him. He reacted quickly, aiming to knee her in the stomach and, whether or not that one connected, punch her straight across the chin. Will I be bound in chains

Her energy built up suddenly when she saw an opening. Never Again...Herald accelerated his Afterburn ability, causing the flames jetting out of the markings on his body to shoot higher. This mitigated some of the affects of the white flames but he was still burned as they hit his stomach. Nevertheless, he stayed in close proximity. The green energy trailing behind him began to glow brighter, whirling around the two of them. Shots of green energy surrounded Emma, attempting to hit her from all sides as Herald threw a right and left hook towards Emma's face. Will I be bound in chains
