Evelyn went to go and sit on the edge of the bed with a sigh. "Honestly Shortstraw the only thing to do about that is to just talk it through with her. You don't know the amount of times Kiera has wanted to but was afraid that she may mess things up. Well.. that's the Ying side, anyway." She smiled. "But you still have a while to work that out too. It's not like there's anything else that's going to affect her relationship with you. There's only one thing to work on." Evelyn didn't know how wrong she was in that moment. If she did, she might not have been so confident. "We'll just have to see what happens tomorrow, won't we? Depending on what mood she's in we can work around it."

*Shortstraw nodded, "Yea your right as always." He smiled, "though i dont know where this we is coming into play, I'm the one that needs to fix things. Your not the one in love with her." He laughed, "or are you." He teased as he loosened up and layed down, "well i want to get tommorow here... i miss her. Either or."

Evelyn covered her face and sighed. "Talking about it won't get tomorrow here. So you better get some sleep while you can." She stood up from the bed and walked over to the windowsill, her usual post. "You know what, I kinda miss her too." She shut her eyes with a smile. "Maybe things will be better when she gets back."
It wasn't until late afternoon that Kiera had finally got around to coming back with Demi. They were training in the morning and then there was another meeting with a few other leaders before Kiera could finally forget about work and come back. Demi herself was happy to come back however had enjoyed her time with Kiera and all that she had learnt about the family she was married into. She knew however that Mordekai missed her desperately and after and event before it killed him to see her go away on a trip with Kiera. In the early evening, Kiera and Demi walked through the front castle doors yawning and dumping bags on the ground next to them, obviously exhausted. "We're home!" Kiera shouted, before looking to the kitchen. "Jesus I'm hungry." Demi giggled and was already halfway to the kitchen. "I've been starving this whole journey!"

Shortstraw was just placing the last dish onto the table. He quickly took his apren off and flung it to the side as he about glomped keria with a hug, "WELCOME BACK!" He yelled into her. He pointed, "I made dinner for us." The table was all fancyed up, resteront stile fancy with the food all on the center in various types and dishes. Seats all layed out for everyone. "And i heard you were hungry so it looks like this was defently the best choice for your welcome back." He nodded.

Kiera chuckled a little as she looked into the kitchen. "Jesus! We were only gone for a week Shortstraw." She however was very grateful for the food and wanted to get right into it, which was what it seemed Demi was doing, after being hurled on by Mordekai which was the most enthusiasm showed by him for about a week as well. Kiera smiled and hugged Shortstraw again before she quickly sat down. Evelyn leaned on the wall with her arms crossed over her chest with a chuckle. "Well he missed you Kiera. It's no wonder." Kiera chuckled and glanced over to Evelyn. "I hope he's been a good boy while I was away." Evelyn snickered. "I suppose so." Hana popped her head around the corner and she practically drooled as she saw all the food. "Am I in heaven?"

*Shortstraw shrugged, "Only if you can eat without makeing a mess and actully use a fork." He replied with a doughtful face. He nodded to Keria though, "One week felt like forever." He chukkled, "however good news is i got my orgnization back up and running." He started to fix his plate, but pointed to a chiar for evelyn where there was just a jar with some souls in it sitting in her spot, "i thought of you too you know take a seat."
Suddenly Veria came downstairs with Cale, "Welcome back dear sister and Aunty!~" She nodded and had a arm around cale, basicly limping and using him as a crutch, "I think we should join them for dinner this time." She replied with a wink as she poofed two more chairs off to the side.

Kiera rose an eyebrow as she looked to Veira. "What happened to you, are you alright sister?" Hana however quickly took her place and stared at all the food, almost in a trance. She was starving too. Evelyn however was reluctant to sit down but eventually gave in and sat down in her spot. She wondered to herself where Kiiro was, then quickly reminded herself of what she was doing. 'I'm going to ******** slaughter you. You traitorous whore.' Evelyn looked around herself. Was that a voice she heard? She looked around to Kiera and she was fixated on something else. It couldn't have been her could it? She didn't hear it properly. She shook her head and decided to ignore it for now.

*Shortstraw patted Evelyns head, "Thanks to evelyn Keria i've been rethinking some things. And later i wanna talk to you. BUt this time i only want you to lisen okay." He smiled, "I sware this time, i'm not going to screw up." He nodded. Meanwhile Veria shied, "I.... um... sorta fell off a bridge..." She blushed, "i was meeting someone in a unknonw area, but i didn't know there was a newly bulit bridge there, so when i teliported i found myself falling off the edge." She giggled, "turns out my leg came off so I had to regrow a new one. But it takes time for the bones to set in, so it still hurts alittle." She giggled. But shortstraw frowned, "Please... becarful wha tyou say at the table Veria. Seriously, we are trying to eat here." She smiled though, "That was carful dearest shortystraw, else there would have been much more discrption." He shrugged and went back to eating, "I'm not going to ask anything about the country stuff or whatever, but all in all did you have a good trip or a okay trip?" He asked Demi, "was travling with Keria too much. She's usally makes things really interesting the few times i was with her on trips." He laughed, "Sometimes more the others."

Demi chuckled. "I learned a lot about her, I guess. Well that would be the same for anyone when staying with them for a week. But we managed to fit in a lot of training as well and that was pretty beneficial too." She didn't add however about the things that happened with Kiera that seemingly happened all the time when she was away from home. She thought maybe that was a thing that was best to keep away from home. Kiera nodded with a smile. "I found out a lot of things that I didn't know I could do." She yawned then ate. "And the meetings went good too. I've managed to sign up a few more allies and reassure people about land use. But that's pretty boring to talk about." Hana looked to Veira with wide eyes. "Your leg came off?! So cool!" Cale snickered. "Not sure it's very cool if it happens to you. Although luckily it happened to Veira and not anyone else."

*Veria held up a finger, "You see little sister, like a snake, any limbs that i loose i can grow back as many times as it takes. And being part demon, i can grow them bad immedatly when it will take a snake at least a month." She lessioned.
Meanwhile Shortstraw nodded, "Well i didn't wanna really know about the meeting thing anyways. Thats your part." He nodded, "Though it's good to here things went well. On our end we have a new member, and I've discovered somthings about the DD, so now i'm back to takeing them out before they do any damige to the world." He smiled proudly, "thats my job."

Kiera smiled. "Then I'm glad you have everything sorted again." She rubbed her eyes after finishing her food. "To be honest, I'm quite tired." Demi chuckled. "No wonder. We've been travelling and you did a lot of things today. I'm quite tired myself." She looked to Mordekai. "Are we staying here tonight or are we going straight back to Japan love?" Mordekai sighed and leaned back in his chair. "It's probably best to stay here tonight if you're so tired. No matter how much I want to leave." Demi nodded with smile. "Good thinking." She leaned to kiss his cheek. Kiera glanced over to Mordekai. "I'm sorry that I stole your wife away so suddenly. But she was a great help when we were away." Mordekai grumbled to himself. "I don't see why you needed Demi to come with you." Kiera chuckled. "It doesn't matter now anyway." She sat back in her chair happily.

*Shortstraw shrugged, "well incase you two are up before us tommorow morning, I would like to just say again that your always welcome here, and the room you have now will be perminatly yours incase you ever come over for a while. If you ever need anything, we're here, dont be afrade to ask, we are familiy he help eachother." He nodded happily as he looked to Veria, "wait a minet. You dont ever come down unless you want somthing." Veria thought about it, "well i would like to have a poisoin bottle." She looked to Cale, "Please hun?~" She then giggled, "howevever i am close to my aunty and uncle too so they visiting is a big deal to me. That and on final thing before the two of you go into your own little world tonight." She looked to Keria, "I want to do your first checkup on the child if it would be okay."

Kiera's eyes widened a little before she nodded. "Oh! Yeah that'd be good. I was wondering about that recently actually. It'll be good to find out if the baby's doing okay." Cale got up with a snicker and went to the fridge to get Veira a bottle. "As opposed to the last time." He said distastefully. Kiera has grown to ignore him anyway. He was a piece of work and she had acknowledged that ages ago. Cale balanced the bottle on top of Veira's head with a chuckle. Demi suddenly looked to Mordekai. "That reminds me, I scheduled a checkup for tomorrow anyway back in Japan. It's lucky this came up otherwise I would have totally forgotten." Hana blinked. "You both gotta be having babies near the same time as each other, right?" Demi chuckled. "Me and Kiera figured out that we got pregnant at nearly the same time, actually." Hana dipped her head halfway under the table with a frown. "Okay that's enough information."

*Shortstraw nodded, "Kinda odd when you think about it huh." He nodded and jumped up before going over to keria. Veria got up, "ah good, i need you to stand please. It's esayer to look without opening you up if you standing. After all the child pushes out in your ever growning belly." She giggled before cetching the bottle of poison on her head, sipping it and handing it back to Cale before hobbling over to Keria. She then crouched and put a hand on kerias belly and closed her eyes. There were a few seconds of silence before she spoke, "oh my... a unexpected turn about." She looked up to keria and stood, "They are both helthy... Keria you are not giving birth to one baby, but two. Twins." She repled appily with a excited clap as she nodded, "I can't tell what sex they are yet though, that would have to be later on in the checkups." Shortstraw's eyes widened large as he studdered, "t...twins!" He fell back and basicly almost fainted. This made veria burst out laughing as she turned aorund and pointed to Cale, "This isn't far she was wasn't suppost to have too so you better start makeing baby!" She sobbed in a corner of the room, "I can only make snake eggs."

Kiera's face flushed red as her eyes widened. "Twins! O-oh my god.." Mordekai groaned. ""Oh Jesus." At least Mordekai wasn't alone with the dread thoughts. Kiera chuckled and hugged Shortstraw. "Twins Shortstraw! Twins!" She sighed. "Who knew we were capable of that." Hana blinked a few times as her head popped back up from under the table. "Twins must be like a weird family thing then, huh." Demi chuckled. "Seems so. Amelie and Hikari, Hana and Dante, now Kiera and Shortstraw's children." She giggled. "Although twins aren't really easy for first time parents, I have to say. It's a blessing and a curse." Kiera smiled. "I'm sure me and Shortstraw will be fine. With everyones help, too."
