"No, I can exercise." he said, trying to shrug the man off but that full out sprinting had him trying to get in air. "Aomine get off I can exercise." But he was being dragged away, sneakered feet trying to gain some traction on the ground but Daren was stronger. He was only released when they were in the elevator. "It's not okay to feel anger. You're supposed to use words to calmly resolve a situation." he explained with frustration. Why couldn't Aomine see his point of not wanting to get angry? He could hurt people. Then what if he got addicted to hurting people? "Anger isn't good. Bad things happen when you get angry." He'd gotten the beating of a life when he'd decided to get angry at Andrew for the abuse... Just once.

Daren crossed his arms, "did you know that day when i found you down in the basement, i wasn't scared or worried, i was anger. Actually, i was furious. because of that anger, i was able to move, despite being shot. i was able to help you that day because i got angry, Tim. at the time, however, i didn't loose control. i still stayed between you and Givens and tried to end things peacefully. the trick is controlling the anger and not letting it control you. right now your only association with anger that is firmly planted in your head is what Givens would do to you when angry, but he wasn't normal, Tim." the doors opened and Daren led the way out, "he is sick, only people like him hurt others when they are angry and enjoy it."

"Because you had a job! I don't have a job! I'm free-loading and I need to write resumes and go to interviews and search for a job!" he exclaimed, biting back the anger and just letting it sound like a pitiful wail. "Then I must be sick too. I stayed with him so long I'm probably sick too." his feet followed Daren's to the front door. "I don't want to be sick but I don't know how to be cured."

Daren hid a smile, Tim was getting mad, even if he didn't like it, but that was a good thing. "yeah, yeah, i already told you. no working until your completely recovered and your little stint down in the basement proved that you're not going to pace yourself like you should, Tim." he opened the door and head in, shaking his head, "look, i'll call your boss tomorrow. you'll have your job back by the end of the week. stop nagging about it, will you?" he glanced over and shook his head before pulling Tim into a hug, "you know i'm just worried that your moms are going to kill me if i let you go out and about before you're ready, right?" he let go and head to the kitchen for some water, "oh, and i might be a bit worried about you too, silly."

"I know but it feels weird to just sit around and watch movies and I'm not used to it. I'm worthless if I don't work or do something or, god, even have sex..." As long as he was doing something, work for him or whatever else for Andrew, he wasn't worthless. "Thank you, I'm sorry I just, I'm so used to having that job that--" but he was suddenly pulled for a hug and for a moment he panicked. "Aomine you smell like sweat." he gave a small smile though before going to sit on the couch, relaxing and weakly trying to kick his shoes off before giving up. It'd probably be safer to leave them on anyway. "Everyone's so worried. That make me feel bad for not exercising properly."

Daren brought in a glass of water for Tim and sat next to him, "you only got out of the hospital after nearly dying a few days ago, how dare you not exercise?" he chuckled and shook his head, "honestly, i think more people would be worried if they knew i let you down there, which is why it's our little secret, right?" he winked before standing up with a groan, "we should stretch so your muscles don't tighten and get painful"

"Thank you." He took the water and gulped it down, feeling his adams apple bob with each swallow before he a sharp exhale and a loud gasp, swallowing the air just as easily as the water. That was true. He had been released about a week ago. "Yea, yea it's our little secret." how many other 'little' secrets did he have? Going down to exercise was little compared to what Andrew made him do. "I don't want to stretch." he mumbled, tilting the empty glass to his lips, watching a lone drop slide down before tasting it.

Daren took the glass and pulled Tim to his feet, "too bad. you won't be able to move in and hour's time if you don't. i'll warm up some lotion and give you a massage too, but you're still going to be feeling that later." he shook his head and moved the coffee table to make room. "right, and touch your toes-" he instructed as he stretched as well.

"No, Da--Aomine." he said with a whine, being pulled to his feet. "I don't need lotion or a massage I need to rest." Daren was ignoring him again and with a sigh Timothy bent over and reached to touch his toes. He may have been in the hospital for a while but his flexibility hadn't left him.

Daren didn't let up until he was sure that Tim's legs wouldn't be cramping on him. he finally called enough and went to get another glass of water. "you'll still be sore, but a lot less that you would have been. trust me, i've made that mistake before." he'd been surprised by Tim's flexibility, but when he thought of why Tim would be so flexible, it made him a little sick. "you did a good job, really. how about we shower and rest a bit before going out to eat. i'm feeling seafood, how about you?"

"Being sore won't really kill me, Aomine. Trust me I've been worse.' he'd probably seen the videos. "I haven't done anything to deserve seafood, though. I've been nagging and complaining and mopey all day." he said. "I think I'd rather mope some more and eat crackers than eat seafood. I haven't done anything rewarding."

Very, very carefully, as softly as he possibly could, Daren flicked Tim's forehead. "don't give me that. you worked out, didn't you? that's enough for me. don't put yourself down so much, Tim." he sighed and rubbed the back of his neck, "but if you don't feel like seafood, we don't have to get it. i just thought i'd treat you as a sort of apology for earlier. i wasn't very kind to you." he felt guilty about what he's said down in the basement. Tim didn't need his baggage added onto what those skinny shoulders already carried.

Timothy gave a small squeak as his forehead was flicked, moving his hand to rub the spot while looking up at the tanned man. "We can just eat here at home. You don't need to apologize for telling the truth and speaking your thoughts. it's okay." and pat the man's arm gently in comfort.

Daren shook his head, "no, i shouldn't have spoken like that. i trust you, it's nothing like that where i think you will try to use it against me, but-i don't want to add to the burden you are already baring." he smiled a little at Tim, "you're so strong to be able to stand up and keep going after everything. you might not believe me, but it's impressive and i'm awed by how strong you are. i don't want to test that strength by adding the weight of my own burdens." he looked away, out the window and not at Tim, "so stay in then, huh? what do you want?"

"It's okay. You're helping me I should help you, right?" Timothy asked while looking up at the man with a small smile of his own. "And I had to move on because I was going to live with a man I don't know and he wouldn't let me die of depression if I tried too. It's okay. Now I just need to help you." He glanced out the window as well. "If we're going to eat whatever's in the fridge can we start by platonic cuddling? It reduces stress and blood-pressure."
