Deathbucks, despite their terrible tea, had begun to grow on Illo since the day he arrived at the school, he just didn't know it until now, sitting across from the door, the window with the sun singing its mid-morning hymns of heat into his back, that the little seed that had been planted all those days ago had come to full bloom. It may have been that perception which clouded his critical palette, but he could have sworn the tea was also not as burnt today. A miracle! ... No matter how you look at it.
The other night he was here with Mira, who took herself far into overtime to heal the monk's bruised heart. Now he was here just to have a cup with a new friend. Kara, like Illo, also hadn't any power extraordinary for a human to possess. Sure, Illo's Qi Gong was impressive, but it was nothing that other humans couldn't do with proper training--although it was still arguable that was still the case in other more--how do you say--supernatural individuals--but it remained that for whatever reason the monk was no longer able to turn himself into the juggernaut accredited with bringing down the Lucrum Laboratory complex or the terror that fell hordes of demon warriors with his Iron Fists in the Lost City. That Illo was gone; however this one still broke things with his head, swept the halls, and as if he weren't weird enough practiced yoga in the park. As he was musing on this he saw Kara breaking over the horizon of his cup's rim and gave a casual wave.

She smiled slightly at him before going up to the main counter and placing her order beofre she skipped over and sat in the seat across from him. "Hm? Oh yes. This place is still big though so it took be a little bit to get all the way over here from my apartment," she replied as she waited for her beverage. ◈ ━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━◈

"I see," said the monk stirring his tea a little. "It's a pretty big city. I realise that now that I can't simply appear wherever I want in an instant. I have to admit it's more tiring than I thought," he said with a chuckle as the waitress approached with Kara's brew. To this Illo gave a quick nod in the server's direction.

"I suppose you're right," admitted the monk with a sigh. A took a moment to taste his own tea, finding it to be in serious need of some nutmeg. He excused himself to go track some down, finding the little spice/flavoring station near the far right corner of the establishment to make his adjustments. As he passed a peculiarly shaped scar could be seen on the back of Illo's neck. It was round, as if made by an iron, and had something that looked like a pattern of some kind inside.
"Sorry about that. The tea here is a little dull, you know? Anyway, how was your d--" Illo seemed to be cut off by something as his eyes were pulled away to a window where a flyer, perhaps blown by the wind, was visible from their side. "Looks like the students aren't short of work," he said gesturing to the piece of paper windstuck to the window.

Illo took Kara's lack of enthusiasm to mean she wasn't aware of the implication, and after a quick once-over rejoined with,
"You've heard about missions, haven't you?" he began appealing to whatever time she'd spent in class or whatever orientation they'd put a student like her through. "It's been a while, but I used to go on quite a few." And finally he just came out with it. "... What you like to see what one is like?"

Illo couldn't help but feel some mixture of frustration and pity for Kara, thinking of herself in the regrettably fashionable self-deprecating, psuedo-modest way; no matter if she was telling the truth or not. He shook his head in disapproval.
"Nonsense," he began somewhat more seriously than before. "If you want to go, then you should go. Letting things like 'ability' and 'talent' get in your way is kind of ridiculous..." He was fidgeting a little now.
"... Sorry. Anyway, you should do what you want. Don't second guess yourself."

"... Maybe I'm being too vague." This time Illo decided to level with Kara, setting his tea aside for a short recap on his struggles as a Phoenix monk.
"When I was around five years old I was taken away from my home and introduced to the Monastery. I was an 'ordinary human' like you, and when the monks first examined me they were sure a mistake had been made. 'How could anyone with a soul so small ever attain Enlightenment?' they asked themselves, but they trained me in the ways of the Phoenix nonetheless."
"... Now I slay demons, sometimes without breaking a sweat, and I can instantly appear anywhere in this world if I so much as imagine my destination... Do you understand?" He held up a hand to stop any possible objections. "I'm not asking you to believe you can crush mountains with your fists or shoot lasers from your eyes, I'm asking you to try living a little!" At this point the monk got up to leave, tossing some coins down on the table.
"Think about it. You're here for the Shibusen experience; you might as well go all the way. Besides, with people like me around it'll be very much impossible for you to get hurt." And with that done Illo left, quiet as Sunday morning.

Lily Would enter the cafe and sit down in a booth , she would sigh as she would grab a menu and look through it, she wanted something other than her mothers food, since it was all just powerful flavors, which was nice but overtime she needed to give her taste buds a rest. soon the waiter would come over and ask for her order, which in a few seconds she would give the order to the waiter. after she began to wait until the food arrived, when it did she would begin to eat the food.
+ Weapon Creation: she can create weapons she owns(puts them in a sort of collection only to pull them out when needed) in total she only has the blood blade + Elemental force: she can harness 4 elements with the help of her sword Fire,Water, ice, and Air + Nine Tailed form: an extra form that She can tap into, she hasn't perfected it yet so she cant keep it up for long, but her abilities are much stronger making her a force to be reckoned with. she is able to manipulate her tails to the point to being able to grab things and attack with them as well as defend. + Enhanced speed + Anti-Madness manipulation: much like Madness it can take its own form, but because she has this she is immune to madness, she can take damage from attacks from madness but she can't be infected, this element is strong against madness users and Black blood users for some reason, she can also add it to her own weapons or limbs, +(unknown) +(unknown) +(unknown)

His home had been exactly as he remembered it aside from a few updates to a few places here and there. He was glad that was so or else he might have felt helplessly lost and confused by his surroundings. When had he last been home? A year ago? Two years ago? Apparently long enough that Aeron was unable to recall exactly when he had last been in the city. The trip back had been long and exhausting, and his home was disturbingly quiet and empty. Where had that sister of his gone off to now? What Aeron needed now was a pick me up and somewhere to recharge. The nearest place he could see was Deathbucks Cafe which meant coffee, which was just what he had in mind. Mindlessly scrolling through the news on his phone, he looked up only briefly to order his drink at the counter. Grabbing his finished order, he felt around blindly using his peripheral vision to find an empty spot. Sitting down, he shrugged the strap of his bag off and took a sip of his coffee, all while still being uncharacteristically interested in world news. Finally tearing his eyes away from the screen, Aeron was shocked to see he had seated himself across from another person. "Uh, sorry about that. If you don't mind, could I just sit here for a bit? I'll be quick, I promise." he asked chuckling nervously.
