"Ah, I am one for the arts instead of reading. I've no need to learn and read facts already given. I shall discover more for myself."

"Hm, a scientist then?"

"With my busy schedule one hardly has time. But I am learning something about the planet we live on." He murmured.

Elliot was doing his best to smile and nod at those who greeted him, them just as surprised that he was walking, without a horse and a carriage. The paved roads stopped at the farmland. "You enjoy reading, Lily. How could I deny it?"

"I don't mind the rain! I enjoy it. It hardly rained in Kasp, we were above the clouds almost. The heavens were beautiful to look at."

"But you've such beautiful eyes." Both Ipo and Elliot said this at once, Elliot glancing up and Ipo away innocently.

"Well I wouldn't do that." The prince continued.

"Get them wet. They're boring." Ipo whined. "You should sculpt with me. Scultping is fun. I like getting my hands on some soft clay on occassion. But again, my schedule is always so busy."

"How is it possibly busy?"

"Watch Kashi, watch Kashi, watch Kashi, bring out dishes for the meal, make Kashi put things back."

"Your brother stole my hat by the way. I was going to bring it but I noticed it missing?"

"Odd, I thought I made him put everything back. I've told Lily all about my wonderful brother. He's the cutest most innocent thing ever. Right?" And smiled at Lily happily.

Elliot changed the topic. "Yes, Henry mentioned that when I passed him, and your hair was wet when I returned to the room last night." In that black piece of fabric that had tormented it until he'd more or less ripped the straps holding it up.

"Yes, it was over my brother's arm because he'd broken it!" Ipo said. "Of course I put a split on it and tied it there tightly, then I covered it in the molding. Of course our Master noticed this and got him proper treatment. The master before him had been exceptionally cruel so we were a little edgy.

"Made you feel better?" Elliot personally didn't like rain or drizzle, glancing up at the sky. "Well to each their own." And heard his name, glancing to the side before giving them a smile and waving. He wanted to hurry and hide away. He didn't like public appearances either.

Ipo seemed to read his thoughts. "This is only your second time outside the kingdom, you will grow used to it I'm sure. Not to mention I see quite a few potential wives." The hare couldn't help but wonder if Lily would be slightly, territorial, over Elliot. Elliot certainly was over her.

"of course," Ipo quickly said. "You have Lily here and I know for a fact she'd make a wonderful partner to share the rest of your life with. She takes care of you, reminds you, feeds you, warms your bed. Oh she's probably the perfect match for anyone." Ipo cooed. "It's rare for a prince to marry a commoner, but it-" Ipo was silenced by a subtle elbow to his gut, making him grit his teeth.

"I don't wish to think of marrying. I would actually prefer to remain unmarried. If I must become betrothed I shall marry my country." Because he'd told Lily on that first day that he'd remain single just to keep the other by his side. "Those are my opinions on the topic. Shall I change it from myself to you? You are unmarried Ipo."

"I think if Emily and Justin become betrothed it would become absolutely adorable."

Eliot stopped walking, turning to look at Ipo with a narrowed glare.

"O-Of course they are still children. So they will, um, we have time before we can consider marriage for either of them!" Ipo smiled nervously, Elliot walking once again. That man really loved his sisters. "How adorable." He murmured under his breath. "What of Lily? When Lily is free from her duties, will she consider marriage?"

"That's too bad. You could always marry me!" And waited a moment but Elliot hardly responded, looking down at the mud now as the entered the farmlands. "I'll make a good husband. I can't quite cook, but I'm sure I'll get the hang of it." he slung an arm around Lily, standing between him and Elliot. "I'm not too sure about love-making. Never done it often enough to know how well I am, but I'll do it filled with love."

Elliot left the protection of the umbrella to talk to a farmer, Ipo having to let go of Lily to catch up. Elliot was smiling. he trusted Ipo, but he still wouldn't allow him to touch Leo.

"Well I'm glad the lands are all right." Elliot responded to the farmer.

The man nodded. "Just had to make the dirt a little more firm. It swelled so quickly we thought the plants would rush off. Used some wood."

Elliot nodded, looking at where the wood was around the plants. "A brilliant idea." Wood got heavy when wet. "And what of the other farmlands? How have they fared?"

"Can't really say. I know Ludwig's farm toward the bottom got flooded since he's downhill."

"I'll check on his farm then. Thank you." Elliot said, turning and walking away.

"So the bottom most one might have been flooded." Ipo murmured, taking the umbrella and closing it. "we're all wet. No point in trying to remain dry."

"You don't need to apologize, Lily, you've helped these people. if anything you'll be helping Ludwig with his flooding if you so wish. Majority of these people are unaware you helped them, and they know I only freeze so it was luck."

Ipo smiled. "Or you could let it be known and then you'll be worshipped as much as the prince! Then you two could marry because she'd be welcomed by everyone! Oh it sounds wonderful!"

"Are you the one putting things into Annabelle's head?"

"No she put them into mine. She has such a lovely mind. Kashi even drew up sketches of her dress before ripping them to shreds."

"Farmer Ludwig, yes?" Elliot called to a thin and frail man. The man jumped in surprise.

"I heard your farms have been flooded terribly, Mr. Ludwig." The man seemed too shocked to speak, looking at the two that followed him. The girl seemed very at ease despite being, wet. Her clothes were sticking to her in a provocative manner, didn't the prince have an umbrella? He was just as wet.

Finally the old man bobbed his head up and down in a nod. "O-Over there. It's all drowning, most of my crop is over there. B-But you don't need to go. It's all mud and mud."

"Are you sure? I may be able to help."

A quick shake of the head. "No, no you freeze things, it's bad for crops."

"You are correct.' Elliot said softly.

"Your hair is black. You a rebel? Your hair was white like your mothers."

"My sisters did that.'

"The whore's kids."

Elliot remained silent, giving only the smallest of nods.
