">OLAY!<" The Shinx called, the taunt clear in his voice as he leaped nimbly out of the way, leaving his opponent high and dry for a target. Claw hadn't done much in the way of damage to his opponent, but it was plenty clear he was keen on defense. The Poochyena had hit scarcely hit him, but it would appear that even those small wounds were too much for the cat's pride.
Snapping his jaws once, the Shinx would barrel forward, electricity dancing about his barely existent main. No doubt his teeth were sparking all the more heavily. He planted to pump his opponent full of a few thousand volts as soon as he could catch him. Thunder Fang.

Exp:0/100 Fang let out a growl of frustration. It wasn't even a close miss as his paws seemed to get tangled up. Falling with a loud oomph as he lunged, the Poochyena quickly shook out his coat. Shaking his head, he watched as the Shinx charged towards him. The infamous electricity was radiating from his fangs and he had to keep moving. Glancing back once, he began running. Suddenly he swerved left and then charged towards the Shinx. He wasn't aiming to attack but rather to leap over the Shinx and keep running on the other side!

(14 - 10) + (8 - 7) = 5 DMG
Fang HP:9Fang would soon realize the error in his tactic, as the Shinx closed the distance between himself and the canine before he could jump, electricity gorged fangs sinking deep into the hound's shoulder. The Poochyena's fur would rise as an intense electric shock ran through his body, only subsiding when Claw released his grip.
Licking blood from his maw, the Shinx wore a feline variation of a smirk upon his small blue face ">Shocking, wasn't it?<"
Tail flicking once to the side, the Shinx would take off to his right, swiftly running around his opponent before taking off behind him ">Catch me if ya can Lightning Rod!<" The feline taunted as he passed. By no means did this cat intend to make things easy.

Exp:0/100 As soon as the electricity began radiating down the dark pokemon's body, he froze then collapsed in a heap. When he arose again, there was a noticable change. It wasn't a change from the outside, no the Poochyena still looked exactly the same. A cruel smirk with fangs flashing, the dark pokemon charged forward. His paws raced across the floor as he glared at the Shinx. The target in view, he leapt forward. He pushed off the ground hard with all four paws. The dark pokemon went soaring but there was purpose and power. The muscles underneath his coat were rippling as he aimed to slam the electric cat into the ground. ">Let me show you how a real attack should feel like.<" The power from this one combined with the intent to kill seemed oddly serious. A large snarl rumbled through his chest as he charged.

Claw HP: -8[FANG GAINED: 37 EXP!]The ferocity of the Poochyena's attack would catch the Shinx off guard, a look of mild surprise upon the feline's features as he struck the floor in a crumpled heap. Blood would see upon blue fur, turning in purple as more of the crimson fluid spilled across the floor. One of the Shinx's front legs, as well as the shoulder were twisted at an impossible angle. Soon after the subtle rise and fall of the feline's chest would cease. Claw was dead, and Fang had killed him.
"Gwahahahaahaha! So the battle's over now is it?" A familiar voice would suddenly cackle after remaining silent for so long "How does it taste puppy? How does it smell? Imprint it to your mind and remember your first kill...the sweet memory of murder<" The voice uttered in a sinister purr.
"Well then..." The voice switched directions "WELCOME TO AKUMU ACADEMY!" The voice shouted in a tone which sounded more violent then welcoming. "Now that you've finished your entry battle, proceed back to the auditorium to complete your registration."

Exp:0/100 Kane watched as his Poochyena seemed to change completely. His fur had spiked up against his back and his personality were different. As that happened, he charged forward with a powerful Tackle. The pokemon slammed into the Shinx and it fell to the ground at an odd angle. When the pokemon didn't move, Kane knew that Fang had killed his first pokemon. It was just an illusion right? This place was just full of pokemon that weren't real? He hoped this was true. Glancing at the body, he had his doubts however. Then as Fang walked up to him, he saw that the Poochyena shake out it's coat and it's eyes go back to normal color. The dark pokemon seemed it's normal self and the boy glanced at the room. It was time they left this place and go finish what they had started. He began moving out of the room, leaving the body behind.The Poochyena slammed strongly into his opponent. Perhaps a little too strongly. He stood grinning, fangs bared as he stared at the body. There was no remorse visible in the crimson gaze. The Poochyena's eyes were a deeper, darker color then normal. ">That was too easy. Too bad cats don't have nine lives. Maybe then you would've been a challenge.<" the dog uttered to the dead pokemon. He began to make his way calmly towards Kane. As soon as the dark pokemon was at Kane's side, his eyes lightened and it was back to normal. Shaking his fur slightly, he then gazed up innocently at the boy. He didn't seem to have known or remember what it was he had done. As Kane left the room, he padded out following after him and staying at his side.

"One two, one two? Helloo~?" The voice would come out at Regret, high-pitched, almost childlike. "O-oh! excuse me, humph" there was no clear source of where it was coming from, but it was coming from somewhere and it was directed at him. "Welcome to the battle arena!" the tone was in a mans voice this time, a sudden change from before. "Too harsh? Nah." the voice was still masculine, but seemed younger. If this was some kind of system, it was playing tricks on him!
"A battle? Thats exactly what you have to do, its the Battle Arena!" the voice would say. "Of course, before we begin, a question - would you like to take the tutorial?"

"Ya sure? I was all pumped, aw..." The voice gave a laugh, "If you're so ready, then wheres you're pokemon?" In front of the boy would appear a glass some strange liquid. "Call out your pokemon, have it drink that, and then we can begin~!" The voice chimed, now deeper yet oddly gleeful.
[[ Ah! By, uh, tutorial, I meant learning how the battle system here works. Attacking, defending, etc. ]]
[[ Unless you know that already? I don't think you do, however, so I'm going to try and teach it to you anyways ^^" ]]

Regret pulled a pokeball from his belt. "Go Bronzor." He threw it and Bronzor appeared. "I guess you need to drink that buddy." Regret smiled as Bronzor drank the potion. "Let's start this."
(I read up on earlier posts and think i have the battle system down but i guess practice won't hurt, thanks smile )

Where he had been standing, a bright yellow stage. balloons, streamers, it seemed like the perfect set-up for a performance except for the fact that there were no people, nor was there anywhere to seat them. In front of the boy he'd find only one other being - a cleffa, a grin plastered on his face. There was a bow-tie around his neck, and he stared at Regret, wide eyed. Excitement in his eyes, oh yes, he was excited! The small normal type stamped his tiny little feet on the ground, he could barely contain his excitement! Cleffa (m)
