xxxxxxx She wasn't surprised by her sister's bone crushing hug. By now she was used to them. But it still didn't stop the soft groan that escaped her from Aurelia's strength. The girl had only gotten stronger since they were kids. And that was saying a lot. Seeing her sisters interact brought a soft smile to Abigail's face. They were as close as ever and Abigail truly hoped that they would always be that way. Samael had always taught them to cherish family and to protect each other. Even though she could be a bit distant at times she cared deeply for her siblings. She liked to think that they knew it too. Watching Aurelia ad Auriel banter like this made her remember happy times. She began to think that she was fortunate to have led such a nice life up to now. The thought had never really occured to her before but at this moment she realized just how true it was. Not everyone was lucky enough to have a loving family, or such a simple childhood. Even though they were Nephilim Abigail often felt like Samael didn't train them as harshly as he could have. That was't to say that it was rigurous but there was never a session that she absolutely despised. Nor one that she disliked. Just sessions that frustrated her since she always felt the need to strive for perfection. With this in mind she resolved to always protect this life that she shared with her sisters. "It's much too hard to ruin such a precious moment as you lay asleep with drool running down your cheek Aurelia. So we decided to let you rest a bit longer." Abigail said to her sister with a grin as she ran her hand down the girl's cheek. Aurelia didn't really drool, but poking fun at her was too fun to pass up. "Besides, you should be able to get up of your own accord by now." she added on while avoiding Aurelia's eyes. She knew Auriel would find it amusing as Abigail was rarely playful. Usually only when they were amongst themselves and she was found without a prior engagement. Abby wasn't anti social by any means but she had a belief that if people wanted to interact with you then they would. Being a Nephilim didn't really hurt her interaction with people but it didn't exactly help it either. Most people didn't really treat her any different. A few people were intimidated by her status. And some treated her like she was better than she thought herself to be. So she decided she'd let them come to her. Unless the situation was dire then she would let people make their own decisions regarding getting to know her. Then she'd know who was genuine in their attempts to do so. And if no one ever tried then at least she had her sisters.

Off to the side, Fable gazed at the curious trio of sisters, mumbling under her breath a few, half-formed lines. The siren had little else to do at the moment but come up with a few, rather random lyrics about whatever caught her fancy. She was really just passing through the city. At least, that was her current intent, but who knew what she would do next.

Although, it wasn't like Fable had nothing to do. She had heard through the grape vine of a dragon problem in the wilderness surrounding Pronta, of hikers having to run away from a particularly aggressive dragon. The dragon was something Fable would like to tame. Although, she didn't dare venture out far enough into the wilderness to hope to encounter it. At least, not alone. Fable had heard of other rumors through the grapevine, of poltergeists and violent goblins and the ever-present CHARLIES.

Fable's eyes, after wandering off to the side, settled on the three, red-headed sisters once more. "Hello?" the Siren called out to the three as she hopped off the boulder she had been sitting on, "could I ask if you three are heading out of Pronta today? There is something I wish to look for and possibly tame but would like the safety of numbers before venturing out." She looked earnestly at each of the three, similar faces in turn, awaiting their answer and looking quite comfortable despite her odd choice of attire for the location: nothing but a bikini and jacket in the middle of the mountains.

Seeing Abigail joke and jest was a pleasant surprise to Auriel. Normally her nose was shoved so far into a book it was a wonder she noticed anything at all. A voice rang out from the distance and drew Auriel's attention. She looked directly at the very short girl with a clear question on her face. This girl was lovely to behold, the short purple hair and large eyes made her come off as adorable. But why on earth was she wearing a bikini? There weren't exactly beaches around this place to swim in. "Hello, we are the Samael sisters. I am Auriel. You certainly couldn't ask a better bunch for help." She said confidentally, looking towards her sisters and knowing they wouldn't deny this request. If there was a chance for them to remove even one more wicked being from this earth they would take it. "What exactly are you looking to tame? I'd rather not enter a battle blind." Auriel questioned, walking over to the girl before stopping. She kept a decent amount of distance between the two of them merely because she was a bit taller than her and did not want to look down on her. Most people felt uncomfortabe from such a position.

As her sisters took their small jabs at her, Aurelia, the hardiest of them all, simply gave her hearty, almost obnoxious but loveable laugh. She glided back over to her sword and shield and lifted them up. "Well some of us do more than shoot cans and sing songs during training." she joked hefting the violent looking blade onto her shoulder and then flying over a few feet away. That way she could swing her blade around and still here her sisters speak. As repitition was key she continued going over the sword and shield abilities, mastering them all to the best of her ability. The woman ducked to the left of the weapon, fluttering her wings behind her as she came into an upward slash behind it. And then, with as she came down delivered another slash to the shoulder of the poor defenseless creature.

She replicated this movement again, this time pushing up with her wings as well as jumping to send herself even higher before flying downwards again with what would have been a debilitating strike directly into the back of the dummy. She shook out her hair behind her head and then continued on with a regimine of slashes that required mobility, often not seen when one is holding a tower shield such as hers. But she is strong as they come, and not afraid of showing it by easily tossing the large shield around like a buckler. She moved on to a more complicated technique. She swung her weapon downwards at an angle, with a forward step, and then jumped back to swing it horizontally. She wasn't able to follow through.

She reset the somewhat complicated technique and then took a step forward, swinging the blade down diagnoally, and then stepped backwards again with a horizontal swing. She was ever so slightly off her mark, and missed that slash. She reset again as if she hadn't missed a beat and started again. She got the two hit combo down packed finally, which was a step in the right direction, maybe two. Her blade was literally an extension of herself, so expecting sword skills to take very long would be unreasonable. She herself accepted this as well, and intended for any who watched her train to also be aware.

So she practiced the third part separately. From about the distance she would have stepped back, she stepped inward and thrust her weapon forth, directly into the dummy. With a vicious backwards rip, she reset to the range she was standing at, and then did it again... and again... and again. She then tied all three of those movements together into a string of attacks. She began to feel as though she needed a change of pace, and decided to work on some different styles of sword techniques.

She tossed the shield aside and then held only the darkin blade, which she gripped until it extended to a whole foot longer than it's original length. With a target set, she swatted the wooden sword out of her dummy's hand and then deftly swing to the side why taking a step backwards, ripping open it's throat. Simple and clean, she moved right on with that same bleeding dummy, intending to continue beating on it until it was done. She slashed downwards, knocking another blade downward and then bringing it upwards, the hilt of the weapon knocking him off his feet.

Next she tumbled to the side and then jumped over the dummy from behind. Bringing her arms up over her head, and point the blade down, she stabbed the weapon down into the back of the dummy and stabbing directly through it. She ripped it free, utterly destroying the dummy on the entry return combo. Not one to miss a beat, she ran with three steps and thrusted the blade forward, straight tearing the dummy in half.

Allowing herself a moment to breathe, she looked around and realized that there was fluff EVERYWHERE. Had these been people, that would be blood. Or... her blade would be brimming with energy. Either way, she caught her breath and moved on. With this technique, she simply swung the blade upwards and then stabbed into the dummy. Done and done.

A gracefull step led her into her next dummy and technique. She swung straight upwards, knocking the mannequin skywards, and then made a crescent shaped swing towards the center of the now airborne dummy, cutting it in half. In a half step she was facing yet another one. This time she swung at the legs first, then as she came full circle in a spin she swung diagonally and then came full circle to slash it once more, sending the mannequin flying away.

After all of that, she needed a moment to catch her breath and noticed her sister talking to a girl who asked if they could help them. She wiped sweat away from her head with a flick of her hands and then stabbed the dark blade into the ground. As she approached she heard most of the conversation and stood beside Auriel, not speakign quite yet but fluttering her wings as she examined the girl with scrutiny in her eyes. She could see that the girl was not unholy, but she was no angel and therefore not pure. Therefore... not as good as she. Still, she'd been taught to accept everyone equally, even creatures of the night for they didn't always choose their circumstance. That never resonated well with her. Treating demons as more than animals makes them believe such stupid things. And they are NOT more than that. They are simply put on the planet to be wiped away by righteous fires. But this girl... she was okay. Not human, not evil, not holy. Just okay. So she decided to keep her mouth closed for once. An oppurtunity to go out into the field was presenting itself and regardless of her lack of a first impression she was interested. Her black wings folded themselves in around her waist and arms, almost looking like a cloak now.

Balthazar
Paladin//Nephilhiem//Sage

Armor clanked together as the Nephilim approached. The Nephilim was fully geared in polished blackened armor, trimmed in gold and his wings of pure white. He reached up and removed his helmet. His blond hair falling free to his shoulders. He had a slight tan and fair features. He set his golden eyes upon the three female Nephilim. He bowed slightly "Greetings Sisters, I am Balthazar" he said to them and rose back up. He looked to the side at the Siren and looked back to the others "I have been assigned by King Devrin to handle the affairs of Nephilim" he said "be it disputes or sending them on jobs" he added. He reached back into one of his pouches on his belt and pulled out small pieces of paper. He fished a lead pencil from it too "for the records I need Name, Age, Rank and Profession" he said holding out the papers. He would give each girl one and let them pass the pencil around.

xxxxxxxAurelia simply smiled and laughed off all the jokes that Abby and Auriel made at her expense. She was as loud and vibrant as she had always been. Her siter took a shot at their own training regiments before heading off on her own. That was when a small girl appeared before her and Auriel. Abigail's smile dropped when heard the unfamiliar voice. What was once a jovial expression on her face was replaced by one of pure adoration. The girl that had hopped off the rock was so kawaii! Abigail took a brief moment to train her expression back to one of indifference. Her sisters would never let her hear the end of it if they ever found about her obsesion with all things adorable. Apparently the mystery girl was looking for an escort to Pronta in hopes of taming a creature. Auriel began to speak for them as she often did but Abigail didn't mind. They were always taught to help those in need and she trusted her sisters' judgment so if she wanted to help then Abby would too. Auriel inclined of the nature of the thing we would be setting out to find and it occured to Abigail that the girl hadn't mentioned it. 'What exactly would a girl like that be looking for anyway?' Abigail thought to herself. The 'safety in numbers part' made her a little weary of what would await them in Pronta, but she was confident they could handle it nonetheless. When Aurelia finally rejoined them she had a harsh look in her eyes which eventually softened. Abigail wasn't exactly sure what that was about but she took note of it anyway. She'd have to ask about it eventually. When another figure approached Abigail began to feel a bit uncomfortable. She wasn't one for large groups of people. 5 was kinda pushing it but she could brush it off unless it escalated to something outrageous like 20. This time it was another Nephelim that called for their attention. He claimed to be on official business from King Devrin but that in itself was a bit sketchy. Why would he be monitoring the actions of Nepehlim? Abby was a bit skeptical but she liked to give everyone the benefit of the doubt until they proved that it was undeserved so she took the pencil from the Nephilim who said his name was Balthazar, and began to sign it anyway.

"I've heard tell of an Adolescent Fire Dragon challenging and attacking hikers and the like that travel into its territory," Fable explained, "I seek to tame it. It would be nice to have others distract it while I play my songs, but I think I can tame it even without help. Rather, what I'm more worried of are the other creatures that could interfere, like the ever-present CHARLIES." The Siren gave Auriel more than she asked for, but even without being told explicitly, Fable knew Auriel's reason for asking was to prepare herself. It was only reasonable to answer Auriel's actual question rather than just the question she voiced.

Then others joined Auriel and Fable. Two of them, Auriel's sisters, Fable already expected. One, though, had just entered the training grounds and made a bee-line for the group. It became clear after his introduction that he came for the sisters, so Fable decided to patiently wait as he did his business. She hoped that he didn't already have a job for the three, but if he did, well, there was little that Fable could do about it.

Aurelia was mildly surprised to see another of her kind waltz over to her. She had yet to have ever seen him before then. He was clad in armor and had blonde hair on his head. No relation to the triplets aside from the obvious then. She listened to him speak and the curiosity and straight up disdain became clear in her expression. First of all, she didn't like that he was being assigned to "handle" the three of them. Auriel was probably more than he could deal with on his own, and she was just a little cotton ball compared to the hell that could be raised by Aurelia or Abigail. God help EVERYONE the day Abigail lost her temper. That would be the last day god COULD help everyone. Second of all, what kind of Nephilem cows tow to a draconian? Especially one such as he. When Abigail finished, she took the pen and paper and signed with intensity her name and rank. She had to unfold the middle pair of wings to do so, but she didn't mind that. She simply folded them back in and continued to leer at the man with a hint of disgust just barely palpable. She looked away only once to Abigail, not needing to speak to tell her that already she didn't like this man... or Devrin for that matter at the moment. But without Abigail needed to look back, or say anything the girl knew to just keep her mouth closed. Biting her tongue was NOT in her usual MO but today was just one of those days she had to bite the proverbial bullet.

Auriel was not surprised when there was no objection from her sisters. As she had suspected it would be a rare occassion that the girls turned down a job. Even if dragons were not technically unholy, they presented a threat and that was enough for them. The CHARLIEs on the other hand were down right evil. Those would be more than sufficient enough to fulfill the Nephilim's stringent need to exterminate the dark ones. Auriel felt herself grow excited but did not jump the gun. She looked to her sisters first before declaring a joint decision based off of their demeanors. "We'll help you in your quest. I just hope you are able to tame this dragon swiftly." Auriel did not want to end up a nephilim barbeque offering to the wild things out there. She was just about to suggest they head out when someone hailed the three of them. Auriel watched him carefully as he removed his helmet, a general sign of peace. An enemy did not remove pieces of their armor if they were about to attack. A apart of her relaxed but the majority of her was focusing on Aurelia's reaction to Balthazar's presence. She could already tell her sister did not like the idea of a handler constantly keeping watch on them. The gods were good today, for Aurelia chose instead to glower and glare rather than speak what was on her mind. Aureil smiled meekly at Balthazar in hopes of apologizing for Aurelia's brusque attitude and Abigail's apparent lack of care. "Hail, Balthazar. I am Auriel and these are my sisters, though it seems you are aware of that." Being known without knowing who it was exactly who knew her was unsettling, yet warranted. Nephilim always seemed to be objects of interest. Auriel accepted the paper and pencil and quickly scrawled down her name. In neat and precise writing her sheet read in order, "Auriel Samael, Twenty Years of age, Trainee, Cleric". She handed the sheet and pencil back to Balthazar and gave him an apologetic look. "You've caught us at a bad time, we've a job to perform. If you'll excuse us." Auriel nodded her head to the sage and pushed past him, motioning for the Siren and her siblings to follow. Auriel wanted to get a move on before Aurelia's momentary vow of silence ended.

Fable let herself be ferried by the nephilim, following obediently as she left for the gates. "I'll try my best," Fable offered as assurance before suggesting as she stepped out of the training grounds, "From what I've heard, the dragon has been frequenting the area around Luscious Stream recently, so we should start by heading there."

Balthazar waited as each signed the papers. He could feel the displeasure in the air. He smiled as he accepted the papers back "I apologize King Devrin knows that Nephilim must be treated differently than the common soldier so he set up a fellow to help and give the right amount of respect due to Champions of Michael" he said and took his leave. On his way out a large group of commoners approached. They carried tools and equipment. The group was made up of Humans, Draconians, Waktu and Kiranu. He smiled it was nice to see them getting along.

Castyfe Stratosyle jaunted to the mountain side, each step slow and deliberate. It was quite the abnormal place to host a place of training. He slowly glanced to the side, seeing just about no one. "Interesting." He was supposed to meet someone there. Cast sighed and looked skyward, hands stuffed within his pockets, and kept walking. Castyfe sniffed the air with his powerful senses, taking in the aromas the area had to offer. It smelled... natural. He had already reached his desired destination. Naturally, all the teen could do was wait, aimlessly wandering around the large slab of rock. Like a used towel he was hung out to dry until his instructor decided to show up. Cast's mind was a proverbial cesspool of whimsy and subtle arrogance, left to it's own devices for a short while.

Soft thuds fell against the rock face as Faith swiftly clambered up the side of the cliff. The ache in her muscles was familiar and welcomed. She reached over head and hoisted herself upward, knowing she would probably be late to this mentoring session with the new guy. When she made it to the top it took her only a second to locate him as he was the only person aside from the armored nephilim. That and Castyfe kind of had a tail. So Faith sprinted on over to him, covering the distance in a matter of seconds. She herself was also a trickster. "Hey new guy, I'm Faith. Pay attention." It wasn't only her legs that moved fast. Faith seemed to be eager to jump right into business. She took a step forward and appeared right before Castyfe, one hand reaching up to flick his kitty ears. In the next blink Faith was back in place. "That's Dash, the signature trickster trick. Good thing to know, ya know?" She said inquisitively. Not wasting any time Faith moved on, explaining more techniques for the boy to learn. "You p***y cats have a few tricks up your sleeves, we'll take it slow." Faith stopped pacing and turned to face Castyfe. "You can tap into your cat bits when you want. Use those feline eyes to stun people for a bit, its quite surprising. On top of that your claws can be quite the advantage to you. You can extend them, sharpen them, the works. Give it a go." Faith finished, standing with her arms crossed and her foot tapping against the floor rapidly as she waited for Castyfe to do the do.

        Techs:
        • Dash C
Description: Though the normal running of the Trickster style is fast enough to leave a trail of whatever color of clothing they have this is an improvement. This actually causes them to move so fast for a moment that they vanish and appear again. This can be combined with attacks, though there is some strange thing you only disappear for a split second the will however see you again once you are about one meter from the target. Sadly attacking using this is not recommended for you get something like tunnel vision and only see the target you are vulnerable to other people besides the target if you try attacking with this, you are also vulnerable to an attack that comes from below you, above you etc. Not even your bloodline can help. At Adept rank you may preform this in the air.

        • Cat's Eye D
Opening their feline eyes the user can cause the opponent to stop moving for one post if they gaze into their eyes. The Kiranu cannot kill their opponent when using Cat's eye.

        • Claw Enhancement D-A
By adding energy to the user’s claws, they are able to strengthen them significantly. The claws gain in strength according to how much power is put into them. The enhancement lasts until the end of the battle. Enhancements can only be done at or below your rank, meaning a C rank user cannot use B rank enhancements, but can use C and D rank.

D: Can cut through bone. Can block bronze.
C: Can cut through bronze. Can block iron.
B: Can cut through iron. Can block steel.
        A: Can cut through steel.
        S: Unattainable.

        • Claw Extension D
By adding energy to the claws, the user is able to force them to extend much longer than normal, to a maximum of two feet. Using this skill without the claw enhancement active is possible, but not recommended as they could be easily broken without it. Lasts until the end of the battle, or the user wishes to end it.

Castyfe's ears perked up, a instinctual reaction to the sound echoing from afar. His eyes flicked downwards, towards the origin of the noise. A smile tugged at the edges of his mouth. Finally, some entertainment. A yawn materialized into the plain of existence, and Cast reached up to cover his mouth. He sincerely hoped that his instructor would provide some form of merriment, for boredom wasn't an emotion he particularly enjoyed. To him, life was like a fight, in a sense. Fun and overall pleasure was like winning the fight, while apathy and boredom was like losing. Now, would you rather dish out a few good right hooks, or writhe on the ground having swallowed a pint of your own blood? The answer was clear to Castyfe and all others like him. If you can't enjoy yourself, what's the point?

A woman made an appearance, lifting herself over the horizon, and sprinting to Cast. Seeing someone have the capability be so energetic after climbing a mountain impressed Castyfe thoroughly, allowing him to put faith into his instructor with ease. Within the instant, she was at his side, flicking his feline ear. They retreated, slumping low. "I'm no p***y." He wasn't some lethargic house cat. Castyfe was prideful. But Faith must have known that all too well. They were one in the same. "You're pretty fast, I guess." According to her words, he would learn to be as well. Faith continued with her teachings, moving through things quickly, almost rushed. Every word that she uttered carried an underlying tone. Like... she already wanted to be onto the next subject, but her tongue couldn't keep up. "Alright, alright. I got it. Maybe."

He would attempt to dash first. Taking a runners pose, he'd lift his heals and run off, kicking off the ground. In a split-second, his peripheral vision ceased to exist, and all that he could see was the path and his destination. It was almost surreal, how for a fraction of a second, the wind was yawning at his face like razorblades and sandpaper, and then the next he was... there. Castyfe glanced back, giving Faith a thumb's up.

                                                [Learned - Dash]

Next, Cast would raise his left hand, and stare at it for a moment. His claws would grow, to a menacing length, that would make any many think twice about attacking. That wasn't too difficult, but Cast supposed it wasn't meant to be.

                                                [Learned - Claw Extension]

Again, this skill had to do with his claws. This time with their strength. He analyzed the ground of the rock face, scouting out victims. He picked out a black rock, and threw it in the air. Cast swung, swiping his claws through the small rock. He felt satisfied, and moved on.

                                                [Learned - Claw Enhancement]

The final skill was pertaining his eyes. Castyfe found his eyes to be the most crucial part of the body. Most of life's pleasures are meant to be beheld, to be seen. A bird flew past Cast, and they fell to the floor, having caught Castyfe's gaze. He stared at it, until it was able to move again. Again, it was free to roam the sky.

                                                [Learned - Cat's Eye]
