As much as Yumi wanted Suigetsu to for once not be his annoying self, it just was not going to happen. Thankfully, she didn't have to put up with it for long. Sasuke snapped his fingers and Suigetsu fled like a toad after its next insect of a meal.

Sasuke's floral dark robes were a welcome sight as he strode in casually. Karin and Jugo were on either side of him for but 30 seconds before they too left the room. He took a seat beside Yumi, wrapped his arm around her shoulder and then asked her, "How was your day? So sorry that I had left you here all day with my minions, but when I have a mission as important as the one I had, I really had no choice. Sometimes those blasted Pokemon teams have got to learn to stay on their own planet instead of messing with others."

He gave Yumi a quick kiss before remaining silent, listening intently on how her day had gone.

"They weren't here exactly. They were on planet Beyblade. I was sent to deal with the executions of them and a couple of Addes members who were also a part of that investigation. What surprised me was that it was Kai Hiwatari that launched that investigation without Dee detecting it. Dee has been so busy with that renovation of hers that she hasn't had the time to do her more important job, which is investigating crimes around the galaxy."

He took a sip of the tea Karin gave to him during Yumi's response, then he added, "Learn anything interesting in those scrolls? I leave them around so that you can train on days like today.

Before listening to Yumi's response to that he added a second question, "And what is this I hear about Illiana wanting to leave?"

"I see," Sasuke replied slowly and with deep thought, "So, Iliana is ungrateful for the hospitality I gave to her. Hmm, well I will have to speak with Rock about it later then. I will have a meeting with him tomorrow afternoon then."

Looking to Karin, Sasuke nodded as if he was giving an order to her to inform Rock of this meeting. Then he asked, "I can sense there is something else on your mind. Feel free to tell me anything. Just ignore the others, they are minions of mine so to speak. If its about your father being concerned, I am doing right now all that I can to prove myself worthy, but if you feel there is something more I could be doing, then please, I am all ears."

Sasuke sighed heavily and replied, "To be the best ninja is to take on battles full on so we are not going to throw them off the trail. Since we know they are coming, we can ambush them. Pretend like the place is completely empty. Then just when they think all hope is lost, whomever they come closest to, we kill them. I want you to show me what you learned from those scrolls so that I know that I can trust you in this fight to survive. Now, before you show me, I am going to show you of what I meant by an ambush."

Turning to a nameless minion, Sasuke ordered him to get one prisoner not poisoned yet for a unique demonstration. Then Sasuke used a shadow jutsu sign to blend into the background completely like a chameleon. As soon as the prisoner was close enough, in the shadows, Sasuke did the fire lotus jutsu sign and then emerged just in time to roast the guy's head to nothing.

"That is basically my idea of what we are to do to our enemy."

"You know that we will not be able to hide it forever, but until we can get your father's complete approval over this, we cannot reveal the secret. Besides, we also have to think of those ladies who have the capability of seriously hurting you if they found out. Ino Yanamaka can use her fans to chop you into nothing or blow you far enough away that whatever you hit can result in your death. Sakura isn't just a healer, she's a well-skilled shinobi. She was able to complete this one training drill faster than me! The one where I had to control the chakra in my feet and climb a tree. She knows the body better than most doctors and if not better equal to some of the best. If she retires from being a ninja, she can work alongside Ken Masters as a back up for vital organ surgery. Then there's Karin. You know how skilled she is. I don't think I need to remind you of how dangerous she can be."

Sasuke took another sip of his tea, then said, "If the media does find out that its me and not some stranger, then all we do is confirm it and congratulate them for doing shinobi work. The one thing that does concern me though is your father reading what the newspapers say and what we already told him. If your dad believes that some stranger knocked you up instead of me like what the papers are saying, then how would he react? The more I think about it, the more I think we should tell the media about it and get it over with. But, in addition to telling them, we must also tell them that this is so that I can have a safe separation from Empress Dee without throwing the universe off balance. Divorce doesn't exist in the Renaissance Galaxy, but separation does. Seto Kaiba also has to think of the possibility of having a separation from Dee in a similar manner as I have in order to save his life. Heh, in that sense, Yumi, Seto is colder than I am."

He laughed for a few minutes dwelling over and listing of all the kings that would be colder than him, then he said, "On a more serious note, I think that in order to completely satisfy this worry your dad has, maybe we should think about marriage. I was completely serious when I said I wanted to take responsibility for what happened, but I also want to be sure that you are okay with this too. Acceptance may be difficult, but the right thing is always the easiest way to prove acceptance into any situation."

Sasuke thought for a while before replying, "Okay, then what I will do before breakfast is tell the papers about my engagement to you. Then I shall apologize to the media for keeping your pregnancy a secret and that the child is going to be half Uchiha and half Yagami. It will be at that time that I reveal the reasons for keeping the truth a secret, which should prevent any jealous ladies from attacking you. If, for whatever reason any of the ladies you and I talked about tries to attack regardless of my report to the media, you attempt one of them fire justus. No matter how weak the jutsu turns out, I will be able to be there by your side in time to defend just in case. We can discuss a date on the wedding after I have my meeting with Rock. Until then, what do you think about us going to Dee's lounge so that you can get something to eat and I can confirm with Rock on the time of my meeting with him tomorrow?"

"Great!" Sasuke replied with a smile, "Don't forget your akatsuki robes. Its a bit chilly out there at this time of night especially in that new location where we are headed."

Once Yumi got her robes on, which served as a fancy jacket, Sasuke did the hand signs for a summoning jutsu. He summoned his eagle partner and together he, Yumi and the Eagle headed for Dee's completed renovated lounge.

Meanwhile, in the Yagami castle, Iori was pacing back and forth in his medieval style room while debating what to make of what he read in the papers. Every so often, he'd glimpse at Saya hoping that she'd have some advice for him.
