singlikenoonecanhearyou 0-Azula-0 singlikenoonecanhearyou 0-Azula-0 You can make that extra forum to be for furture event planning! biggrin But a whole sub-forum for suggestions seems like a waste of a forum :/ that's what i thought. at the same time, i am making them neater, i just dunno what we should have for the extra one. i do kinda want the suggestions here just for easy acess Yea its easier for people if its in plain sight. :3 What do you wana do with the empty forum? no idea, whatdo yu think? I think an event planning forum would be nice. Make it private for crew only so students dont know what the plans are until its time. Or maybe we can just leave it empty until we find a good use for it.

Seeing as the Professor's Lounge is where we already do things like that creating a separate sub-forum for that is a waste. The main reason I suggested a Suggestion Box as Sing has said many times that she can get lost in the Suggestion Thread especially when a lot of chatter is going on. With a separate place to put suggestions were each person would have their own thread to flesh out the suggestions and thus not get lost in tons of chatter, would just be easier.

Sorry but don't see how creating a sub-forum for suggestions removes it from plain site. I'd rather not reinforce the lazy tendency that many users on Gaia has when it comes to the site. True chatter has slacked off, but mainly that's from people just being not as active during finals time. Please explain how its a waste of space? I was all for leaving the sucker empty, but Sing was the one who didn't like the idea of just having an empty sub-forum sitting there so that's why I suggested the idea of the suggestion box. So far besides creating basically a "duplicate" sub-forum for events no one else has come up with any other ideas for the empty sub.

Remember a little while ago when we asked for bathrooms? What if we made a sub forum for each house, and make a thread for the common room, dormitories, and bathrooms in each?
The only thing is that I'm not sure people will use them often, and this creates around two more sub forums (if you recycle the existing common rooms sub forum). It could actually lead to more clutter.

Its a waste of space because we already have an effective suggestion box just like we already have a place to plan events that I didnt even know about. I dont disagree on the suggestion forum idea, I just dont think its necessary razz . The most logical idea is we just leave the damn thing empty and be done with it. Once we get a good idea we can put the forum to good use but until then just leave it empty. Put its title to under construction or something and restrict it to crew acess only. But I still think an official event planning forum would be good. I dont care if the "Professor's Lounge" does it, I was talking to Sing about setting up a group of people to plan events and try to have one each month. It would be nice to host events that arent a ball or dance every time. If other people dont agree thats fine, its just an idea.

I dunno, part of me just wants all the ideas in one big forum, i don't mind going through them
Also, for bathrooms, maybe we could combine them with the common rooms? Just a thought =o but does everyone like how the sub-forums are now? they will probably get fine tuned and stuff, but how does it look?

I for one don't have a problem with having lots of sub-forums.
Sub-forums make organizing things MUCH MUCH easier.
As long as you keep the sub-forum types together..like all the RP/Non-RP like we have now. In each group would be a mini group like Castle/Hogs/DA/WW like we have now..I think that made sense.
With saying that I know some sections that happen to get created inside those subs would not be as active as other sections.

While you RP OC may be under the control of someone else.
Your still Captain of the guild and thus need to continue those admin responsibility's that comes with it.
