Teddie smiled at Devon and Kana.
Ringo pulled Kana into a hug, smiled at Devon, then turned to Kai.
Kai nodded. "Yeah, I've been looking at this guy while we fought. See his wings? They're kinda light blueish now. Before they were purple, before that, dark blue." Kai sighed. "Every time we think we have him, they change colors and he's all fine now, then he spouts some nonsense. My guess? He changes his arcana."

"Yeah, twenty-one. One each for the arcana, minus The World." Kai looked up at Nyx. "I've thought about that and tried everything. Nothing works. Me, Teddie, and Ringo have been taking each life down one by one. So far...we've gotten 9. It's taken a while...there's 12 left, then Nyx will assume its true arcana, Death."

"Yeah. I expect death to take the longest. But, we're not without hope. Ringo found out her persona knows Agi skills, so we have all the elements. And we were given this." Kai held up a small device.
Kana looked at it. "What's that?"
"A scanner. It'll let us see the arcana of the current form, and it's strengths and weaknesses."

Kai turned it to Nyx and pressed a button, after a few moments he looked at it. "Let's see....huh, it's The Fool. No weakness, no strengths. And we were fighting it for some time now...one more hit should end this arcana." Kai picked up his Evoker and summoned Yamato. "Shall I do the honors so we can start this?"
Nyx stared at the group.

"Yamato! Final slash!" Yamato shot foward and slashed at Nyx, cutting it.
Nyx let out a soft scream and doubled over, then slowly straightened itself. It's wings turned a light shade of red. And it lifted a finger and spoke, pointing at each of the group in turn.
"The moment man devoured the fruit of knowledge, he sealed his fate...

Kai nodded. "Yeah, but we must be entering the home stretch, it had an introduction and everything. Hmm...stern will...unfailing determination..." He lifted the scanner and pressed the button. "I know some about the major arcana...just by guessing I think its..." He looked at the scanner. "Yeah! I guessed right!"
