TyPHoiD MaRy Location: Private booth inside the lounge. With: A new group of friends Typhoid's smile grew when the man mentioned testing his skills. It was a wide, sharp smile that one might compare to lioness that had just come upon a free meal. "Oh, don't worry..." she began, her voice a low purr. "...I'll take you up on that test soon enough. But the last time I started a fight on a business call... my boss reprimanded me. Thoroughly. All night long." Likely too much information, but it was the truth. Typhoid had a habit of making any man fall in love with her. This included the great Kingpin. It was easy enough when he had first hired her to go after Daredevil. "Besides, I can't tell you how many undercovers my boss has had show up in some costume wanting to work for him. You'll be getting one hell of a background check, as well as a few tests to make sure you're not going to get your pretty little a** kicked by Spider-Man on your first day of the job. No offense... but it's kind of the usual thing for someone wanting the work you're asking for." she added. Without turning around, or doing much to hide her next action, Typhoid slid her free hand up the front of her shirt, and started reaching for something higher up under her shirt. "But... if you're really wanting to talk... I'm sure the Kingpin could take a few minutes to hear you out..." she continued, then pulled her hand back out of her shirt and flipped a small disposable cell phone in her fingers. "Perhaps your test could even be a job for these guys.." she said, glancing over at the two other men. "We're here looking for a few people. The woman I want, the Kingpin wants alive. Your guys I don't know about though. The fat man might want to see how well you do for an outside job before deciding on bringing you into his pay roll."

"Sometimes it's good..." The sneaking suspicion Taskmaster was getting was that taking his eyes off the chick with the mismatched face would've been a considerable health hazard. Not being able to talk to his appointed benefactor was irritating enough, but the woman was obviously a few rounds short of a full cylinder. Of course... he was one to talk. Once Crazy-eyes finished her little shpeal, he rolled his shoulders slightly.
"I'll talk to yer boss." He spoke coldly, decisively. "But I ain't afraid of Spider-Man. Ain't been that weak for a long time. If kickin' in the web-head is the only qualification, then I certainly hope the job itself's more of a challenge." Slowly, his gaze slid over to the two goons in the booth who'd spoke to him earlier. "And if helpin' these fools gets business done sooner... Well, I suppose I'll have ta be more economical with my time." He returned to face Crazy-eyes, and motioned to the phone with his head. "Let's do business. Ring 'im up.""... To forget." Location: "Interior a some dumb club..." Mood: Sliding back to Business-mode. OOC:

TyPHoiD MaRy Location: Private booth inside the lounge. With: A new group of friends Typhoid grinned that sharp, dangerous smile again and flipped her cell phone open with her fingers. "You got it, babe..." she purred. With that, she pressed a single number on the small phone, then put it up to her ear. She leaned back in her seat and placed her knees up on the end of the table to make her self comfortable. The grin stayed perfectly in place, and her dark eyes never left her potential new play toy. She'd let the boys have a little chat if they wanted while she waited for the Fat Man to answer his phone. This could take just a minute or two after all... Oswald Cobblepot The PenguinLocation: In his personal office inside the Lounge. Status: Multi-tasking...Oswald, meanwhile, had become rather busy. Normally it wouldn't take him so long to simply gather some files together and get back downstairs... but he had to do a little checking on the small group downstairs. Couldn't simply hand money over to something that could prove to be nothing at all. So... background checks on them led to a few names. Those few names led to one man of interest. Following through with that led to a phone call to a certain mister Willson Fisk. That call was taking quite a few minutes to complete. Add that to the new files he was going through to try and get back to Vandal Savage just how much the Morre family had piled onto in debt to him. And... in the process of talking to the Kingpin about Typhoid Mary and the people she was looking for...... and remembering the files Vandal Savage had paid for..... a particular piece of news caught his attention. It didn't show much of course... but the batmobile slamming into the side of the hospital, along with the glimps of the woman they pulled out of the batmobile... Suddenly Oswald realized that both Vandal Savage AND Wilson Fisk might find... interest in such an event...

[enter Vandal Savage from Home Sweet Home[
The man known today as Vandal Savage burst through the door, in a hurry. He told the concierge to get Mr. Cobblepot, post haste. He needed to get more information on the whereabouts of Misty, or at least of whoever it was that dropped her off at the hospital. His face spoke of the severity of the matter. Savage noticed that there were more supers in the Lounge. Obviously not heroes; otherwise they wouldn't be here. He made no comment to either of them; he had much more important business to discuss.

The man at the door quickly pulled out a pager that was clipped to the side of the desk, and pressed a button or two. A signal to any available employees and Cobblepot that he had emergency company. A moment later, a woman wearing the signature corset and leggings that was the uniform of the Lounge came down a side hall next to the door. She walked, as fast as her heels could take her down the polished stone floor, her eyes fixed on the man standing at the desk. She glanced down at a paper in her hand, then back up at the man's face. "Mister Savage?" she asked. "Mister Cobblepot though you might stop in today. You caught him just as he was about to go to other business. He's waiting for you in his office. Follow me, you'll get there quicker this way." the woman said, then led him back down the hall she had come through. The two moved to a locked door at the end of the hall. The woman opened it, then led them through a small room with a few guns lining the wall. Clearly the guard's room when some serious help was needed. She led him through the room and to a small elevator. From there, they rode to the top floor, and exited. There were a few rooms on the top floor, but one set of doors stood out particular. The frame was made of fine wood, as well as the doors themselves. But there were some... "fixes" to the doors. A necessity from being broken down one too many times. The woman led him down the hall, knocked once on the door, then stepped to the side and opened the door for Vandal to go through. Inside was cobblepot's personal office. A large collection of bird-oriented... everything really... decorated the room. A large desk with a large chair sat at the back of the room... almost comical considering how short the man who sat there really was. And there was a large, rather impressive computer system behind the desk. Security cameras, information files, news channels... anything Oswald might need at a moment's notice. Another woman was sitting on the desk, also in Lounge getup. She looked like any other waitress that the Lounge had, but it was a fair guess that the girls who walked around this level acted as... slightly different assistants. Guards would be a fair guess.

Savage looked around the office, specifically at the multitude of bird decorations, and thought to himself, 'This certainly isn't helping get rid of his much-hated nickname, that much is certain.'
He took the first woman's hand and kissed the back, saying to her, "Thank you very much, my dear." Then, he walked into the office, towards the desk. He nodded to the other woman, showing his acknowledgement of her presence. Vandal figured that if she couldn't be trusted, Cobblepot would've had her step outside, so he wasn't too worried about breaches in confidentiality.
"Mr. Cobblepot, thank you for seeing me on such short notice," Savage said with a smile. Although the Penguin probably wouldn't realize it, the smile was due to the preposterous sight of such a short person using such a large chair, not gratitude. "I need supplementary information referencing the subjects of the news story you told me about, especially last known whereabouts."

TyPHoiD MaRy Location: Private booth inside the lounge. With: A new group of friends Some time had passed as the woman sat in her chair, muttering quietly into her cell phone. Enough time for Savage to enter and be led down the hall long before Typhoid had finished talking. When she was finished talking, she looked up at their new friend and grinned. "Well then... looks like you're in luck. The big man wants to talk to you." she said, then tossed the cell phone into the air for Taskmaster to catch. As he had his attention on the cell phone, Typhoid turned her attention towards the two gangsters she was with. "As for you two... after we get this whole thing settled out, the boss wants to meet with you all as well. First things first though... we need to find your little friend, and the baby-brewing bug he was with." Oswald Cobblepot The PenguinLocation: In his personal office inside the Lounge. Status: Meeting with Vandal SavageThe blonde haired attendant blinked as Savage took her hand and kissed it. Her momentary surprise made it evident that she wasn't used to such treatment from a customer, but she went back to her own business quickly enough. Carefully closing the door behind Savage as he went inside, then taking her place next to the door outside of the room. The woman who was sitting on the corner of Cobblepot's desk inside the room nodded back to Savage as he passed. She smiled lightly, brushing locks of her dark hair off of her shoulder, and repositioned her legs to make herself comfortable. An obviously flirting gesture. "I though you might stop by after my tip." Cobblepot replied. "I've been collecting what I can on the ones involved with the event in question. The reports are... sporadic at best." he said. Then he turned to his computer system and flipped one of the smaller news channels onto the large screen. "This is NBC Gotham News. As reported earlier, the man seen in the wild Batmobile chases last night has been identified as Circus employee and local musician C.J. Benoit. Benoit for reasons unknown came into the possession of the car, lost possession of such, and was last seen fleeing from it into the city limits from New York. There is still no word on who or what was responsible for the chase returning to Gotham, but we will continue to bring you the details as they become available. This is NBC news, Gotham City." "That is the closest anyone had come to identifying anyone in the incident so far this morning. The police and doctors have been keeping tight lipped about the situation as far as the woman. This man, however, crashed through the side of the hospital in the... what I am amazed is a possible genuine Batmobile." Cobblepot explained, scratching his chin thoughtfully as he looked at a surveillance recording on another channel. "But, there has been one station that has been uncovering a little more about the situation bit by bit. I believe they covered the majority of the findings earlier. That Channel 27 News I had suggested you watch." He said, then pulled something new up on a few of the screens. "I, on the other hand, did manage to piece a few more things together." he continued. A few faces, news clippings, and files popped up on the screens. "The Batmobile had chased a taxi though the streets. It lost the Taxi, and neither car was seen from again. It does appear as though the man and woman were in that taxi." he said. A few more news clippings and advertisements popped up onto the screen. "This is all I could find on the man... where he preforms at... the Circus he works at. Just so happens that his particular Circus finishing up their last shows before they leave Gotham." he said, enlarging the Circus flyer that contained the dates and locations. "I can't tell you for certain that they will be there. In a way... the Circus would be a fair way to hide and slip out of the City. On the other hand... having the world know where you work and all... I certainly wouldn't go back until the heat died down." Cobblepot said, then turned and smirked a bit at Vandal. "Though... given the show he put on with the Batmobile... it's also fair to say he isn't the most inconspicuous of men to find."Then Cobblepot turned back around in his seat. The files and faces he had on the other screens moved to the larger screen. The location of the hospital that had been the scene of the incident... a few of the doctors that had been involved with the woman along with their names and where they could be found. "Again... they've been keeping tight lipped on the woman you're interested in. I'm sure you can get someone to open up a bit more if you truely want to know what happened. But..." he said... then flipped a few more buttons. A few more faces and files popped up. One, Wilson Fisk... the nearly untouchable Kingpin of crime in New York City. And the other... one Typhoid Mary... who looked exactly like one of the women downstairs that Savage had spotted but not paid much mind too. "This is the man who was after the woman. Sapphire Spider as he called her. She had gotten into his affairs one too many times, and he had employees on the lookout for her. One of them noticed the news report last night, and went directly over to capture her. That's why the event moved to New York before returning here." Oswald continued. Another screen came up. Surveillance stills from Kingpin's cameras... whom he had sent to Penguin for help in finding the man... not to give out to others. But this was business... and the stills were rather clear images of the man Savage would want to find. "The man had somehow managed to break into Fisk's building, take out his meta-human powered guards, then rescue the woman. They escaped, and were forced to flee again." he continued. Typhoids file popped up again. "I'm sure you noticed her downstairs, along with some men I understand are after Benoit." Oswald turned and looked at Savage. "Normally... I'd have no problem with you having a talk with them outside. But... they may have some information on Batman that is very hard to come by. I'd prefer if you didn't confront them until I have the information I want. I haven't told Fisk about you being after Sapphire, and there is no need for them to know."Then he turned and flipped another file onto the large screen. The last file he had it looked like. The medical files that had been stolen from the hospital that were now in Fisks possession. Notes from the doctors, as well as a clear and... slightly alarming image of the woman's "condition". While it appeared as though she were only half way through her pregnancy physically... the unborn children looked as though they were both fully formed. Which meant... there was very little room for them... The woman's internal organs were already at risk of being damaged if she moved the wrong way or too much pressure was put on her. Any sort of pressure could injure the children. The notes made it very clear that the woman should be bedridden or have surgery as soon as possible. It would be... almost impossible for her to give birth to them naturally, or last more than another month without some kind of internal problem occurring. Of course... the doctors had no way to take in the consideration that the woman was a meta-human, and that she could possibly have the durability to last a while longer in such a condition. The extra bones in her back didn't seem to be in the doctor's notes either. Obviously they didn't notice them.

Savage noticed the slight motions that the woman on Cobblepot's desk made, and smiled slightly. As the remaining information was revealed to him, though, his face grew more and more serious. He crossed his arms in frustration, which also served to tighten the fit of his shirt, though he hadn't thought about that one way or the other.
After a moment, he began speaking. "I will need a copy of the images of her condition. Also, I believe I would like to speak to this Mr. Fisk myself. Now, before you nay-say the thought, hear me out. Contact him. Don't mention your telling me his plans. Instead, tell him that you discovered that I was also looking for Sapphire Spider, and that you thought our mutual cooperation would be beneficial to both him and myself. This way, he feels like he's getting the tip instead of me. Should he decide to contact me, I will also say nothing of your minor breach of usual protocol." An evil smile emerged on Vandal's lips. "I need him to be on the same page as me. I need those children. After that, he can do what he wishes with her."
Then, for the first time since the meeting had begun, he made eye contact with the woman, but this time he held it, staring into her eyes, as if trying to find her soul in them. "Maybe if she were as lovely as the present company, I'd try to have him spare her. But alas, few women could hope to compare." Although his feelings for Rebecca weren't false, he'd never felt the need to restrain himself when it came to women; he needed offspring to continue his immortality, and that required women wanting to be with him.

Oswald Cobblepot The PenguinLocation: In his personal office inside the Lounge. Status: Meeting with Vandal SavageCobblepot blinked and stared at Savage as he openly flirted with the woman sitting in the room. More out of curiosity since Savage had just moments ago bought off one of Oswald's other girls. And... it was for that reason that Oswald nodded towards Savage, then turned to print off the pictures that Savage had wanted. The woman, on the other hand, smiled from ear-to-ear. "Ah...a charmer..." she said to him. Her voice was low, naturally husky, and there was a hint of an accent clinging to her words. "Vee haven't had many men come up to dis level zat are charming." she purred. Then she adjusted her weight again, moving her shoulders and legs. "Most just stare or make some vrude comment.""He is also a very valued customer, Miss Ravengraves." Cobblepot said, still turned towards his computer. The woman glanced over at her boss, then smiled and moved to sit... less provocatively on the desk. "Understood..." she replied, then looked back to Savage with a lusty little grin. "I vill behave zen.""I will contact Mister Fisk now, if you would prefer. I had done so not too long ago this morning. He should still be free from business meetings for me to speak with him. Your files should be done within a few minutes." Cobblepot said to Savage. "And... I'm sure Miss Ravengraves or Miss Dew can keep you company in the meantime if you would like."

"Duh- I uh . . . " Bozo stuttered before Smitty stopped him.
"Uh-uh. We ain't his friend . . . and our boss at least has our life insurance. As for da punk, da boss wants him dead, his big Gator buddy, too . . . speakin' a which, we haven't seen him in a while. I'm gettin' nervous." Smitty said. He saw some of those goons get gunned down by Arell and C.J. . . . or punched out by Aiden . . . kunai-ed by Crystal . . . Dundee chucking a rock at 'em . . . and god knows what else. This "Fisk" guy better have their asses covered.
Of course, that didn't stop Bozo from being physically worried compared to Smitty's deadpan.

"As long as Miss Ravengraves is keeping me company, Mr. Cobblepot, feel free to take well more than a few minutes," Savage replied, his eyes still locked on hers, but now also had a smile creeping onto his face; 'behave' was the last thing he wanted her to do. In the back of his mind, the urgency of the matter was still there, but the more potential mates he had, the less worried he'd be should his whole plan go straight to Hell.
Then, he said in Russian while offering his arm to the woman, "Your command of English is too good to be northern Russia, but your accent isn't strong enough to be eastern or central, either." His head tilted upwards slightly, still maintaining eye contact, and he added in Kazakh, "In fact, I'm going to say you're actually from Kazakhstan, aren't you?"

"Of course he's not." Typhoid replied. "And if you're just wanting the guys out of the way... we shouldn't have much trouble helping you along with that." she added, leaning back in her seat again.
=======
Ravengraves smiled a wide, genuine smile. "Impressive..." she replied in Kazakh. "Very impressive. How did you know?" she asked. She was genuinely impressed with the man. She demonstrated so by sliding off of Penguin's desk and moving to wrap her arm around Vandal's.

"I've done my fair share of travelling, and I know how to listen," Savage replied in Kazakh, returning the smile. 'If she only knew...' he thought to himself.
Then, reverting to English again, he said to Penguin while reaching into his jacket, "Oh, and you will need this..." He pulled out a card with a number on it, and placed it on Cobblepot's desk. "Call that number. When asked for the password, reply 'Vandar Adg.' You will then be able to have the money I owe you from earlier today transferred as you see fit. It's a one-time passcode, just so you know. Only good for this transaction. Not that I don't trust you; I simply inform everyone of this procedure of mine the first time I do business with them, as a deterrent." He looked back at Miss Ravengraves and then added with a smile that was half-charming, and half-lust-filled, "And one more thing, Mr. Cobblepot: is there anyplace that this beautiful woman and I could sit and chat without being anywhere near in your way?"

Oswald turned back to Vandal, then took the card he had left on the desk. "Of course. There should be a few free, personal rooms just outside. Ravengraves can show you to the room. I'll have Miss Dew bring you your files when they are finished." Penguin replied.
The woman smiled and curled her arm a bit tighter around Savage's arm. "It is not too var from ze office. But it iz far enough zat you vill not bother him."
