I'm one Nightmare...
"Foam?" Yuzuki asked, now actually curious about what Kishi's chunin exams had anything to do with foam. "I have a feeling... that your behind that foam business aren't you? The Chunin exam was eventful. We had a visit from a couple of people and the 8 tailed bull, the Otokage took care of that though. You should have seen him, Kishi - he was amazing." Kishi's praise made her blush a little bit, she looked shyly down at her feet. She cuddled her knees closer to her being as she did so. When she heard him retreave something glass. She looked over at Kishi as his movements started to excite the liquid in the bottle... not that her earlier actions wouldn't have contributed what was bound to happen. "Umm... Kishi... the bottle... maybe you shouldn't..." She started, before she ewas cut off once again with the continuation of their conversation. When he raised it to his chin she tried again. "Kishi... your shaking the...."
When the bottle cracked and the contents left with some amazing amount of pressure, Yuzuki found that she was going to be next to useless, but the time that she could get up the spray was done, leaving poor Kishi covered in carbonated tacky pop and Yuzuki unable to breath she was laughing so hard. She was the unfortunate victum of the side spray, but she got it no where near as bad as the poor man who took it in the fact. Tears bubbled out of her eyes and rolled down her cheeks. After a few more minutes of calming herself down time after time as the fresh image rolled through her head she finally took the last of her fountain of giggles and a few deep breaths later she wiped the water from around her eyes. "I'll go get you a wet cloth... to wipe your face with." Yuzuki giggled as she made the quick trip the stream and returned with something to clean his face with. Yuzuki returned with the smile still on her face as she came up to him. "Here," She said softly, a large smile still on her face. "Let me."
Yuzuki wondered if this was the time to see what his eyes looked like. She wondered... if he was in a sage mode with a scorpion and his eyes mimiced that of theirs? He did really remind her of one, he was always alone, his laughter always mimiced that which he summoned, and the fact that he did summon them, was all pointing to something like this. She started at his chin and the lower part of his cheek, just in case he didn't trust her with this. "Well... I tried to warn you about shaking that up." Yuzuki's smile faided somewhat. She wondered, what it was like to be as free as him, not surpressed by anyone or anything. "Your a lucky man to live so free, Kishi... but.. don't you ever feel lonely when your wandering around?"...you won't wake up from.

The forest was getting colder now-the countries had changed. Kiko barely noticed the borders of Wind and Fire shift under her feet; her mind was on other things. Not necessarily Ichite-ru, but he was at least one of the things that weighted heavily on her mind. The leaves had changed too-the trees smelled different and the wildlife was becoming more common. Fire Country had the most diverse fauna spectrum out of all the other countries-well, land fauna that was. Kumo was know for its air creatures more than anything. The birds that flew overhead...Tsukiko's heart fell to her stomach, and she shook it off, continuing to move through the treeline. She felt sick at heart, but it wasn't like she could just go against orders. So homeward bound they were, to the place that was hidden in the mountains-Kumokagure.Tsukiko Jounin Theme

Once again, she crossed borders, leaving Fire Country behind for the own comfort of her home in the mountains. Though, anymore it was lonesome-the one person she wanted to be near her couldn't be. But maybe that was the best way to be a shinobi-have what you love, but at the same time, not have it-perhaps it was a way to find something to believe in to stay alive. Kiko's footsteps touched down on the forest floor, feeling the dirt shift to the clay of the mountains once agian. Home at last...the majestic towers of Kumokagure stood over the clouds, and she pushed towards the village gate. (Posting at Land of Clouds Village Gate)Tsukiko Jounin Theme

Kishi's hair was, if anything, further adhered to his face from the sticky liquid and his mouth was completely inverted from its usual, proper "V" shape.
He said nothing as Yuzuki approached him with the cloth. He wasn't stupid. He knew this was a down-played attempt to get a clear look at his face, but was too busy pouting to do anything about it. It wasn't like he was purposefully hiding his face, or anything. He'd simply let his hair grow out since leaving his village. Once upon a time, he managed to convince a scorpion to trim his bangs. Never again...
Kishi's eyes were... orange. They were a vibrant contrast to the sick-dark skin that surrounded them, but otherwise astonishingly unimpressive. He had heavy lids that created an almost perfect horizontal line over his irises. Their natural shape seemed to cement his expression in a permanent state of disapproval, but the calm aura he exuded made it clear he wasn't actually thinking such things.
It was all too easy to imagine the Kishi-before-he-was-Kishi with these eyes--surveying the world around him with this dead stare. Perhaps he did it so much, his face really did get stuck like that.
Once his mouth was no longer fused shut with syrup-water, it reverted back to its usual pointy grin and the aura around him lightened considerably. Oddly enough, his eyes never moved. Were they always like that beneath his hair?
"'Lonely' is a relative term, dear Ragamuffin!" he replied jubilantly, "Just like 'lucky.'"
It was a cryptic statement to be sure. It wasn't even clear whether he meant his isolation was a good thing or not. He likely intended for it to come across that way.
"But I suppose 'lucky' would be the right word for it. I can't say I chose to live the life I do... but I guess I did, kind of. If you look at it sideways... and squint. Hm."
Kishi's bubbly tone faded away as he was left putting legitimate thought into his existence.

I'm one Nightmare...
Yuzuki continued to get the sticky substance off his face, softly and gently as she went. Yuzuki's eye softened as he showed her a vague glimpse into himself. When the mess was cleaned up, she tossed the soiled cloth to the side with the rest of the garbage, her eyes didn't turn up to Kishi's again. Instead, her right hand was placed softly on his chest. "I don't think anyone choses to be alone. I'm not one to believe in destiny, or the concept of 'forever', but sometimes I think that there are some people who are singled out for a purpose, whether it be for good or malicious intent, and then given trials to see if they are worthy of what path they were set out for. Whether the person is up to the task or not is up to them, and how much inner strength that they have. I think... that your one of those people, Kishi. I truely believe that." She felt the same way about herself, to a lesser extent. She knew that this trial or whatever one wanted to call it was painful. She could understand why he lost his bubbly attitude with those words. She knew how agonizing it was to not have anyone to talk to, and how cramped up you could get when you had no-one to turn to. There was a solum look on her face as well, was this what it was like, to have a friend? Where every pain inflicted on them that you could understand was reopened in you? It almost felt surreal. She nibbled on her lip a little and brought a clenched fist to her sternum. What did one say in a time like this? What could one say? She didn't know what to do or say, being as socially awkward as she was, she really could relate to him being a recluse. "I think... that you have what it takes to truely walk the path that you have been chosen to do, you just need a little more time to finish searching is all. Its unfair... that people like us are the only ones who have to sacrifice their happiness for something far grandeur." Yuzuki hated the heavy atmosphere, and seeing Kishi like this, she actually liked him when he was full of happiness and joy, it made her feel like... her burdens weren't as heavy or intolerable anymore. She looked up at him and forced a bit of a smile. "Where were you from originally, Kishi? I bet because of your ability to make things simple and easy to understand, you were a teacher there."...you won't wake up from.

....One day turned into almost two, there were few stops, but none for any sort of sleep. It was a smooth trip....Only Seika was singing the WHOLE time. It would've driven anybody mad, because she didn't shut up. Only Neko-chan could stand to listen to her for two days straight. There wasn't anything wrong with her voice...it just get's tiring. Neko-chan seemed to be the only one that noticed they were approaching the gate. "Hey, Seika. We're here." Neko purred softly.
"No more poison killing my emotion. I will not be frozen, dancing is my remedy, remedy, oh~!" Ignored
".....SEIKA!"
Neko-chan's cry fell on deaf ears once more. "Stop, stop praying 'cause I'm not, not playing. I'm not frozen, dancing is my remedy, remedy, oh~!".
"GOD DAMMIT, SHUT THE HELL UP AND PAY ATTENTION, HUMAN!"
"WAIT! ALMOST DONE..." Seika cooed.
"NO, YOU'VE BEEN AT IT FOR TWO DAYS-"
"Move while you're watching me, dance with the enemy! I've got a remedy, remedy OH~~!" Seika even stopped to do a superstar pose on one of the tree limbs.
"......"
"Okay, done."
"Unbelievable..." Neko-chan hissed and rolled her green slitted eyes.
".....Na-na-na-na~!"
"DON'T START!"
Seika giggled childishly and gave her companion a cheshire grin."...You mad, Neko-chan?" She might as well have been jabbing Neko-chan with a stick.
"YES I AM MAD, SEIKA. VERY VERY MAD!" The cat hissed angrily, her voice rattled the inside Seika's head with the force of an earthquake. It even made her shake her head a bit.
"'Kay."
Sometimes it's best to just...not even ask at this point. The two descended from the tree branches to the ground and started off to the Village gates.

Even Kishi's angular frown faded into a flat line. He was unsure of what to do with the sudden, serious atmosphere that had descended over the pair. He hadn't expected any of this to come about when he'd approached that little girl in the curiosity shop back in Cloud. Despite being, well, himself, he felt that brushing her sentiments off with an off-the-wall quip would be cruel. Unfortunately, that didn't leave a whole lot for Kishi to go on.
His hair had, for the most part, dried out, causing the sugar to cement his bangs in place away from his eyes. He felt far too open for his liking. What was this girl? Fifteen? Sixteen? There was at least an eight year age difference between the two of them. He wasn't sure if he was supposed to welcome the odd dynamic that had developed between themselves.
The entire time Yuzuki spoke, and for a few minutes afterward, Kishi said nothing. He didn't even twitch. Finally, his lips, which had been previously sealed shut, parted slightly.
"Sand," he said. "I'm from Sand Village."
He brushed himself off from his picnic and took a few steps down the road.
"Do you know what I hate?" he asked suddenly, "I hate puppets. I hate their wooden or ceramic, or worse--fleshy skin. I hate that they have eyes for no other reason than to look like they're alive, and I hate--I HATE that shinobi use them to fight in their places."
He laughed a little, but it wasn't his usual, gleefully awkward, hissing laugh. He kept his mouth closed, which forcibly strangled the familiar sound.
"If we can fight--can kill people with cheap imitations, who's to say we can't live with them? Explore our world with them? Love? All while avoiding harm to ourselves. It's perfect, right?"
There was a brief moment in which it was almost expected that Kishi would do that thing where he agreed with his own rhetorical question. He didn't.
"It's wrong," he continued with shocking sincerity, "Bestiality and homicide are less disturbing concepts. To go every day of my life watching this sort of behavior take place--be expected of not only adults, but children! Keh. Killing people by proxy; taking risks by proxy; waging wars by proxy."
Somehow along the way, Kishi had started walking down the road, though he kept his deadened gaze pinned to the treetops.
"I'm sure you can see where I'm going with this. You're a smart girl, Yuzuki, but I'm not a 'good person.' I'm not strong, I'm not kind, and I'm not special. Kees--Actually, I was a special jonin, which ironically furthers my point."
His smile was cold. Special jonin were essentially chunin with a single skill that made them useful enough to go on higher-ranked missions, but were otherwise mediocre as a whole. They were too specialized to ever function as a single unit. They were tools among tools.
"I honestly don't give a damn what becomes of this 'ninja world' we live in. Personally, I hope it burns."
Kishi's actions began to make a degree of sense now, though it utterly destroyed the sense of whimsy that used to hang around the enigmatic man. He was dead inside. He was a soulless creature spending his years desperately trying to salvage a passion for life in others that had been taken from himself at a young age. Yuzuki's words of hope had fallen on deaf ears.
"Keesee... Keeseeseesee..."
Kishi turned around to face Yuzuki. His eyes were no longer visible, leaving behind only the smile he'd begun with, but now it held a bitter aftertaste in its severe creases.
"Keesee... You admired the Otokage, did you not..? Keesee, well he's the worst, Ragamuffin. He's the worst of them all... but at the same time, he's a puppeteer, not a puppet. Perhaps you could learn a thing or two from him? You could. I wonder what you could do with such knowledge. You took scorpions and turned them into a promotion. Just what sort of magician are you, Yuzuki..?"

I'm one Nightmare...
What did she say? What did she say to make things so dark and wicked all of a sudden? She knew that she wasn't the most socailly graceful person in the world, but she never got a reaction like this before. Yuzuki's jaw clenched such as her mind took in what he had to say, her eyes became down cast and she pulled the mask over the bridge of her nose again, trying hard to hide the look of... uncertainty that passed over her face, she watched as he started to walk down the road, unsure of what she should do, if she should follow him or not. His words were almost like twisted barbs in her soul, the one person whom she actually thought of as a friend and perhaps something that could one day be more, was cutting away from her and casting her away... just like everyone else. Was there nobody in this huge, over crowded world that wanted her... that needed her in some way? Yuzuki's eyes narrowed dangerously as Kishi suddenly turned around and tried to peer into her soul, and just like so many others before him, gazed only at what they wanted to see without taking the time to actually understand her. Why should she say any different. Her face slowly twisted from one of slight hurt to something akined to a bridled rage. From under her cloak she fetched a kunai, with a quick motion the kunai landed at his feet, planted blade first into the ground.
"Facts are chains that bind perception and fetter truth, for a man can remake the world with nothing but a dream and no facts to cloud his mind. If you feel that strongly about the world, then make it burn. Sitting around on your thumb and whinning and sniveling because things have been thrown your way that you can't handle is the mentality of a child, and instead of trying to find a way to overcome you own weaknesses, you ran away from them. Am I close? What do you hope to accomplish by putting on a mask for the world to see and then wonder why the whole world is going to hell. What's the difference between what you hate and what you are now? Your being puppeted by your own misery and self pitty. To live is to Fight, Kishi, is you don't like how this world turns then fight to make things how you envision it. If you don't have that strength to fight then why not cut the threads that puppet you in this world... and take the cowards way out? I hate being caged and chained to someone just as much as you do. You came to me that day and taught me a technique that I value because I thought that the person who taught it to me cared... I honestly thought that you might be the exception to humanity that I had been looking for, that would show me that this world isn't some diseased husk that's rotting away idlely, that people use each other for some kind of hidden agenda. But you've shown me the contrary. The Otokage might be a vile man, and a malicious puppetmaster, but at least he has a vision, he has brought purpose to his life by struggling and grasping what he strived for, then found something else to achieve once he got it, giving his life a continued meaning and he is likely give purpose to other lives as well. I think that you could learn something from him. I may use Scorpions to help me achieve my objectives, but then again so do you. So where is the difference between how you abuse your summoned allys and how I use mine? Did you teach me this technique for some other reason? To help you feel less awkward about the world around you perhaps?" Yuzuki closed her eyes for a moment and turned so that she was facing the direction she needed to go in order to go back home. While her back was turned, she cast her eyes down. Why did things... never turn out the way she hoped? "When I learn from him... I am going to use it to save humanity from itself. Humankinds desires... are my desires. And I will do what it takes to help mankind get the conflict that makes them feel alive, the conflict that everyone hopes for in order to prove that they exist, the conflict that will help them realize their goals and dreams. Peace is too soon for humanity, we are neither savage nor wise, but damned in the middle. Peace is not achieved by ideals and ideals alone, and humanity hasn't realized that yet. It comes from actually wanting it, yearning for it and willing to make honest to god sacrifices for it. I will lead humanity into a new salvation, I seem to be the only one who is not ignorant of the world and what it needs. This world needs a shepard such as myself, and I will do what is needed of me in order to give birth to my brand new world."
Yuzuki tilted her head up, she didn't think it was worth going on much more about this, he didn't care, he didn't give two good god damns about any of this. He didn't care about her, he would never give his approval no matter how hard she worked or how much effort she put into things. He was just like the Raikage, he did something nice so that he could pat himself on the back and reward himself for what he had done. He cared little about where she took it, or how hard she worked to obtain such a prize. The end result was always the same. Arrogence and selfishness. Yuzuki couldn't lie to herself, it hurt being talked to like this, but if he thought her to be a monster like so many others then why should she try to show him differently? He would see only want he wanted to see in this world, she wanted to see his true self, but she knew that there was nothing left of him to see that he was willing to show her. Maybe this was for the best. Such a tie to anyother would only make what she needed to do far more difficult. Still, she was sad to loose the only person who she thought cared enough to be her friend. "I guess... this is good bye then, Kishi." She said a little sadly. She paused for a moment. "In the end I suppose it comes down to a simple choice, doesn't it? You either get busy living, or get busy dying. I wonder what your choice will be Kishi?" Yuzuki hesitated to leave, she wanted him to say something to her, something positive, something that nobody else would ever say to her. He was proud of her, perhaps? He wanted to see her agian, maybe? Something... anything.... She would settle for he was sorry, she just... needed something....you won't wake up from.

"Kese... Keeseesee... KESEESEESEEESEESEEE!!"
Kishi broke into a full-blown belly laugh. His spine tipped in half as he clutched his sides and the tension surrounding him shattered with it.
"Ke... Keke... Keseseeeseeeeee!!"
It took a while for him to stand up straight again, and even then, he had to hold himself up with his hands hovering against his thighs in case he toppled over again. He tilted his face up to look at Yuzuki. His eyes were still missing, but his face glittered with tears.
"You're........ Interesting."
Kishi wasn't a strong person. He wasn't particularly skilled or clever. He was anything but considerate. He got his kicks by travelling the world and interacting with it in the most inane ways he could conjure up. He was a simple man defined by his desire to show humanity what fun life could be by example. He was a missionary. He took what he wanted and ignored what he deemed boring, but was a missionary nonetheless.
Despite stubborn claims of apathy, Kishi did care what became of the world around him. He adored his summoned companions, for no other reason than they stuck with him when no one else would. He hated the ninja villages because watching his own people be warped by greed and obligation hurt too much. He let children into his world because a small part of him believed it would be worth it.
And perhaps it was.
"Do what you will, Ragamuffin--so long as it's your decision and yours alone. I trust your judgement."
And with that, Kishi dissolved into a clone made of hundreds of tiny scorpions, which in turn, reverse-summoned themselves in tiny clouds of smoke.
"Keeseeseeseeseeseesee~"

I'm one Nightmare...
Yuzuki was giving an odd look out of the corner of her eyes towards Kishi as he slowly but gradually collapsed into a fit of laughter, she didn't find any amusement in his, not sure if she was being mocked for her ambitions or if he was just... being Kishi once more. She turned to face him with a stern look on his face, waiting patiently for him to come out of his laughing fit. It only took two words for her to conferm that he was back, it was the two words that she needed to here before she left that day. 'Your...... Interesting.' She took it as though Kishi approved of her path that she was struggling to achieve, her goal that she set up for herself was something that amused Kishi. To be honest, she didn't understand such a man, but she wouldn't seek to discourage him from what he truely was -coward, wanderer, warrior or otherwise- but she decided that she didn't really care either. This may be the last time that she saw him again, and it was going to be a fond memory despite the heavy atmosphere that it had turned out to be. Yuzuki closed her eyes and smirked. Her hand was placed on her hip and her head was turned another way. There was a satisfied 'humph' that passed though her nose. "Good bye Kishi, we'll probably never see each other again. But I wish you well and I hope that you find that thing that makes you want to fight once more. Until the next life, my friend." She needed to say it, dispite the fact that he was likely long gone now. She didn't care. It was something that she wanted to say to someone that was worth saying it too. It did sadden her a little, in her heart of hearts she knew that the likelihood of seeing him ever again was slim to none, and if she did see him, there was no guarentee that he would be on friendly terms with her goals. But she needed to do soemthing. She needed to get away from the Hidden Cloud village. She wasn't going to obtain what she wanted by doing sandwich runs for her career. She made a mental note to beat the Raikage with the breifcase that she was going to bring back.
That being said, her mission was complete... and in a way she renewed her inner strength of obtaining what she was striving for. Maybe she needed to see Kishi one more time before she made a choice to help her refocus on something that her frustrations were dragging her ambitions away from what she wanted. Yuzuki took up her breifcase and collected the garbage, she'd likely never hear the end of it if she was a 'litterbug ninja'. As if the Raikage didn't have enough to worry about then her leaving garbage where it was. Yuzuki noted that Kishi didn't take his chips with him, so she helped herself to that and began to head back home, she wondered if it was going to be alright just going to the Sound. Idlness was a path to ruination, and she hoped that she didn't miss her chance to take the Otokage up on his offer. She had some stuff to pack that she couldn't bare to leave behind. But other than that, there was nothing keeping her at the Cloud. The only thing there was atrophy of her skills and abilities, if the Raikage wasn't such a fool, he might actually realize what he lost when she was gone. It was something that she was going to value deep inside herself. She had no thoughts of staying with Sound forever, just until she was able to stand on her own two feet, once she got enough power she could fully realize her dream and save humanity form itself. Yes, perhaps it was time to move on and take the Otokage up on his offer... she just hoped that he had better things for her to do than coffee runs......you won't wake up from.

I'm one Nightmare...
Yuzuki bounded through the woods, feeling as though things were as they should be now. The odd pair left as mutual friends, and there was little more needed than that. She knew that he wouldn't be the type to try and get in her way while she was persuing ambitions just as she wouldn't do it to his. Yuzuki, though distracted slightly still kept her eyes on her surroundings, though she doubted highly that anything was going to happen between here and Cloud, she wasn't likely going to take much longer, and that meant that she was not far away from a hot bath and a good rest. She was also looking forwards to her horror-thon and then sneaking away to go and see if the position in the Sound was open for her as the Otokage offered on her scoring. It was nice to think that she was actually wanted for something revolutionary, and she was sure that she was going to be able to find an opertunity to start planting the seeds of her goals while under the Sound ninja rule. She didn't know much about the Otokage or his ambitions and goals, but if the rumours about him were true then she would likely be at home. But she wouldn't make any assumptions untils he got there and got a feel for the guy. She was actually starting to get excited about what she was invited to. Well, she would just have to wait for a day or two and recharge her batteries, she wasn't going to impress her new Kage if she was worn out and exhausted. She would be able to do her work, just not as... impressively....you won't wake up from.

I'm one Nightmare...
Yuzuki made her way to within visual range of the front gates of the Village hidden in the clouds, she was happy to be 'home' once more, and she was going to be even more relieved when she was sitting in a nice warm hotspring and relaxing for a change, then again she wasn't sure if she was going to get the chance before the Raikage bounced her off to another mission again. She was starting to get supicious that he might be onto what she was thinking and about to do. He most likely saw the invitation and he did know a little bit of her mind from her little... lapse of composure in his office when Kiko and Kazin were all hot under their collar about Kazin's family. She hoped that she could be there when the Udai council came back with the news that they couldn't convict the main branch due to lack of evidence on the part of the Cloud. Granted, she wanted war as well, but there would be a cruel satisfaction that she could look at Kiko, Kazin and the Raikage; 'Told you so.' Regardless, that was neither here nor there at the moment and she was more than happy to just get home and plot which movie she was going to watch first. Night of the Living Dead, perhaps..?...you won't wake up from. ((Posting In Cloud~!))

I'm one Nightmare...
Yuzuki followed Seika through the forests, it was going to be a relatively short trip she assumed, two days if they didn't rest. Yuzuki didn't know if she was going to be able to push for two days straight without a rest, it was a huge pain in the a** having to be bounced from one job to the next location right away. She was probably going to be irritated for a little while until she caught up on her sleep. Yuzuki's eyes traveled towards the back of Seika, she was going to be... fun... Yuzuki just had that feeling and she was unlikely to have the chance to inflict her ruthless but petty teasings on the poor girl if they were busy. She looked ahead at the cat once more, she wasn't sure if the cat was a ninja familiar or just well trained, she was assuming the sooner was the more likely senario. As they bounded through the trees and the silence enveloped them, Yuzuki decided to get a little closer, she was curious about the Otokage and who her team constisted of, she assumed that there was at least one more ninja, if the Otokage collected talent then he should have a pretty big pool of pawn under his sway. "So what is the Otokage like, Seika-chan? I only got a small glimpse of him and a small demonstration of power at the Chunin exams. I would like to learn more about him if I could, I'd rather start off on some relatively good terms with him. Also, do you know if I'll be working as a solo, or with a team of shinobi?" They were pretty common and reasonable questions in her mind, she was going to a new environment and she wanted to give herself some mental time to prepare and adjust before she arrived. She looked over at Seika once more. But said nothing more for now, she would make some more advance when they stopped for a break, she doubted that having this girl break her neck suddenly turning into a tree to avoid her would impress her new Kage. She hoped there was going to be some more commonalities between her and the Sound ninja then with her and her former team. There was nothing between them and she was hoping for some level of comradory, they didn't have to be best friends or anything... but something. Her only friend was a weirdo that wondered around with no real purpose and no real direction....you won't wake up from.

Seika had been pretty quiet since they left Cloud. She was always awkward and mean around other strangers. The only people she talked to was Shuniji, Virus and the Otokage. That was...pretty sad on her part.
Even though Yuzuki got closer, her eyes remained focused and unreadable as she hopped from one branch to another. Blank was a better word for her current attitude. Before answering, she pulled her mask down, and took in a deep breath. "Otokage-sama is....powerful in every aspect. There aren't many people who actually get an audience with him." Her answer at first was a bit typical, for Yuzuki probably assumed this. Visits to the Otokage were exclusive, but each visit always left her trembling. Such as life. At least he didn't set her on fire on a regular basis.
She blinked slowly and continued in a monotone that masked the pressure she was feeling just from talking about him. "His presence is overpowering. Especially since the meetings are in a dark room. Even if you can't see him, you know he's there...watching. He'll tell you what to do and leave, you wake up feeling as if you were in some twisted nightmare. I guess it's intriguing if you're into that sort of thing.." Seika explained with a shrug and rolled her eyes as if she were trying to think of anything else to add. Oh...right.
"There's just one rule." Seika started with a scowl, there was a sudden seriousness in her voice, a sort of caution almost. "Never....tell him that he's wrong. Don't even backtalk him. My brother once did that, He's dead now." She said, looking back at Yuzuki with a smile that would snap her face in half. Seika didn't even look bothered by the last bit... Death is a natural occurrence in the Sound Village. Though it was somewhat surprising for Seika of all people to be so insensitive. For it was her own feelings that caused her to screw up BIG time and get in-trouble.
Her smile quickly diminished into the same blank expression as she diverted her attention back ahead and pushed off of another branch."Normally he'll send two or three on a single mission. Other times it'll be solo...if he feels you can handle yourself. Though if you screw up the mission, I wouldn't bother coming back. Dying would be a better alternative." Seika chuckled coldly, slipping her mask back over her face and continued.
"It's actually not a bad deal. You do his tasks, get rewarded with something that will be useful, or make you stronger in some way. I guess you can say he's...generous in that aspect." She reasoned with another shrug and finally fell silent again. Her silence was a cue that she had nothing more to say about the subject. The rest she'd find out on her own. Though it didn't mean Seika wasn't going to answer anymore of her questions.

I'm one Nightmare...
Yuzuki listened intently to what Seika had to say about conducting herself infront of the Otokage, she nodded silently, she would make a note not to let her mouth run away with her when she was in the presence of the Otokage, she had developed a habit of that while working with the Raikage... and his choices that even she could see were half hazard and half put together. She hoped that he put far more thought into his actions than the naive Raikage of her old village. She would make a note to keep her trap shut and just say 'Yes sir/No sir' when prompted. She actually kind of liked the sounds of how this Kage operated, she would have likely ran her village in a similar way if she had both the power and village to run. The more that Seika went on, the more she was intruiged by what she was saying. Waking up from a twisted nightmare? She might have some new fuel for her genjutsus if what she said was true. Yuzuki processed this information in silence for a while. It was a high stakes gamble she seems to have gotten herself into, but at the same time, the reward might very well be what she desired. If she died doing this, then the gods had turned their gaze to someone more desirable. So that let little doubt in what she had to do. She really didn't know how to react to the news of Seika's brother either, Seika didn't seem bothered by it, and deep inside she wished that a couple of her own siblings got that treatment. They frustrated her by just being them, and no matter what she tried to do, she just could keep up. However, now she had an opertunity to make that change in her life, she would aim to become so power the Gods knew her name and the world trembled at the meer mention of it. She would give humans what they wanted, she would give them war and conflict, she would bathe them in the blood of their ambitions as reward and give their dreams fruition. She would never become arrogent enough to think herself equal to God, once she thought that she knew her ambitions would come shattering down around her. Twice she survived a tailed beast attack, and twice she was blessed with their presence. Not only that but she was now traveling down the path to things far greater than what other would ever realize.
"I admire this Otokage-sama, he seems to understand that polishing talent is pointless if it doesn't yeild results. Too bad that other Kage didn't follow his example, the last bunch that entered the Chunin exams... I don't think that I have the words to describe the... lacking... of ambiton and talent. They all seemed like clones to me; they all vomited out what others had shoved down their throats and they seemed to be rewarded for it. It's almost embarassing, really..." Yuzuki's eyes narrowed in thought. There was going to be a lot to get use to while working under this new Kage. It was going to be so much more orginization and dicipline. Genius was just a name to these people but the sounds of it, it was so refreshing. Her hard work would be recognized here where it would be shrugged of in the Village of the Clouds. Yuzuki couldn't wait to prove her worth and add to her flawless record. Yuzuki looked over at her traveling companion and new village-mate. She took the opertunity to move in closer when a few trees and their branches obscured her path, she was still behind Seika a few feet, she may know where the board was, but she had no idea where the Village hidden in the Rice Patties were, having never been there herself. The mood was tense and a little awkward, she assumed that it was because of both Yuzuki being new and Seika not sure what to make of her... or her earlier advances. She was more inclined to believe that they were both factors. "Seika-chan... there is one more thing that I need to know before we get to the Otokage... I know we're still a ways away, but its still something that I would like to know." There was a pause while she pushed off a few trees to get back on track and single file behind Seika and her cat. "How did you get such a nice firm butt? Is there a specific training regimen that you do feverously or is your tooshy naturally like that?" Oh she was going to have a lot of fun with this girl when she had the opertunities... if anything this should break some tensions... and most likely raise some paranoia. Maybe Seika will be too paranoid to sleep tonight if they rest and she could actually enjoy a full nights sleep without watches. She would also know that when they were on a mission, this sort of teasing would be non-existant. Work before pleasure, er, play....you won't wake up from.
