{James : Train : Dining Car}
James turned his attention to Jenny as she asked them if they wanted anything to drink. After that fight he was definitely thirsty again.
"Sure Jenny, I'll take a glass of coke."
He said with a smile, he knew that in normal circumstances if they were outside that Coke would do the exact opposite of hydrate. But when he was inside and just relaxing he didn't really care. He then changed his attention to Jack and Kyle as the Pirate Captain asked his question and Kyle answered it and his attention turned to both James and Jenny as he asked them if Joe had mentioned anything about it. However, before the corsair could say that Joe had given him the list Jack already walked off again to go find Joe.
"The Captain's impatient as always, didn't even wait for me to say that I have the list now."
He said as he pulled the rolled up list out of his coat pocket and unrolled the parchment to find that it was still blank.
"No names have appeared yet though. Whoa!"
James had at least been able to finish his first sentence before his exclamation escaped from his mouth as the bolt of lightning came down, striking right outside of the Lounge Car. He had involuntarily jumped somewhat but when lightning was that close that also seemed to be reflex. There wasn't even a second before the huge thunder clap that he could feel inside the train. He waited to see if there was a repeat strike or a storm coming but after that it was all still.
"That was too close and sudden to be coincidence..."

[[Louis : Train : Dining Car]]
Louis continued to sit quietly as more people entered and exited the car left and right, finally as things began to calm down and Jenny made her way over to the refrigerator, he jumped out of his skin while the lighting bolt struck down outside the train. The light flooded through the windows for a split second. The initial scare caused Louis to fling his head up and bring his knee up suddenly with the rest of him, effectively smashing it into the bottom of the table.
His immediate reaction to that was to bend down and grab his now aching knee, but was once more foiled by the table as his head smacked into the top of the table. His head lifted for only a moment, then slowly dropped back down to lay flat while he massaged his knee and ignored his throbbing head.
"What the hell..." he whined in a deep moan, "Why is it always my knee..." he added on the end as he slid over onto his side taking up the whole booth in order to shift his leg up and out from under the table. Louis wasn't usually so jumpy, especially over lightning. Back home, he would sit and watch lighting storms from his bedroom window, but he never saw this one coming, resulting in his current painful yet comical position.

[Jenny :: Dining Car]
"Right!" Jenny replied enthusiastically as she raced for the refrigerator, she opened the door and reached for a bottle of water, a bottle of coke and a bottle of ginger ale. Right as she closed the door to the fridge, the entire car lit up brilliantly with the strike of lightning. A glass bottle crashed against the floor right as the sound of thunder passed through. Jenny felt her nerves shake as she stared at the mess of coke and glass littering the floor and sighed.
"I'll clean it up!" She shouted first and foremost, cracking the door open just enough to grab another coke before racing to the table and placing the drinks down. She then ran past Silver and grabbed a towel for the mess, kneeling to pick up the shards of coke bottle first. Calm... down... you big... baby. The train is safe, I dunno why you're freaking out... impulse reaction but still... Jenny muttered to herself as if trying to reason with her own brain.

[Engine Car ~ Train]
"I'm here to inquire about a certain--"
Jack jumped at the thunder clap and pressed himself up against a wall. He raised his upper lip and glanced around. "That's not normal . . ."
Peeling himself from the wall he looked to Joe and leaned backwards a little, "I hear things about a list that tells you children where to go next. I also hear you have it. What say you?"
[Lounge Car ~ Train]
Prote hardly reacted to the lightning strike. He turned his head to see if he could find where it had struck and saw a patch of ground just outside of the loung car entrance steaming slightly. After a moment he stood and walked for the door, opening it and looking down at the blackened foliage on the ground. He glanced to the sky in a puzzled way before looking back into the lounge car at Zexion and Kuja.
"Is this occurence normal?" He asked.
[Maria ~ ??? ~ Dark Tower]
Maria's eyes opened and immediately narrowed. She felt wonderful. More than wonderful, extraordinary. It was time to test a few things out.
She leaned towards Kefka and seethed with a malicious grin, "You clearly don't know the meaning of beauty sleep."

[ Kyle : Dining Car (w/Silver and Zell) ]
"Nothing ye-?" Kyle began to ask, only to suddenly tense up (not quite 'jump', but enough of a change that it was noticeable) at the crack of thunder. Immediately, he glanced out the window, only to see... pitch black. But was that because there were no stars, or because there were clouds- ah, no, there was the moon.
"Hrm," Kyle muttered, sounding almost disappointed before glancing over to Jenny. Without hesitation, he got up and rushed over to help her clean up. "No no, I got this, go sit down- pizza smells about ready."
"Olready?" Silver muttered, opening the oven- and lo, the three pizzas were perfectly cooked. Hand-tossed (aka 'thick') crust, not too crispy, not too soft, and ready.
"Oiy, Zell, round up the youngins!" Silver said toward the still-pissy conductor of the train, who merely shrugged and pressed a button on the nearby wall monitor. Suddenly, his voice filled the entire train.
"Alright kiddies, pizza's ready, first come, first serve!"
The pizzas were lined up along the counter. There was the plain pizza, the 'Meat Lovers' pizza, and a 'Supreme' pizza, with damn near everything on it, vegetables included. Silver placed a bunch of paper plates on the counter, along with napkins.

[ Zexion ; Kuja : Lounge Car ]
"Not that I'm aware of," Zexion responded dryly, slowly standing up at the sound of the intercom; they'd only gotten 4 moves in, much to his chagrin, but it should have been expected with the Genome.
"Well, I'm sure they've annoyed plenty of people, so it's not surprising," Kuja replied, standing up and throwing his hair behind his head in a typical melodramatic fashion. "Nothing we can't handle, though- otherwise we'd have more than just flashy special effects."

[ Kefka : ??? : Dark Tower ]
"Well, when you're as gorgeous as me, you don't need it~" he responded in his normal, high pitched voice, cackling gleefully before bouncing backward, doing flips with ease before standing on his hands, glancing at the woman.
"Now, you have the fae girl's powers, yes?" he asked, his one suddenly deeper, more sinister. "All of them?"

[Lounge Car ~ Train]
"Hmm . . ."
Prote debated on joining everyone for dinner. He didn't know if it would be worth his while. He didn't eat. But then again, he was always interested in making new memories, so it might be worth it.
[Maria ~ ??? ~ Dark Tower]
"Of course." Maria sighed, pulling herself out of the barrier. Turning to look back at it she smiled, and dismissed it all together on her own. This was glorious.
"Shall we give it a spin?"

[Jenny :: Dining Car]
"It's quite alright Kyle!" The mage fretted as she sat back on her ankles, looking at the knight. She wasn't going to sit down and eat while he cleaned up, it was her fault anyways she dropped the bottle anyways. She was usually a fan of thunderstorms especially if she wasn't alone, but the fact that one struck so close to where they were, it bothered her nerves. Jenny picked up the remaining pieces of the glass and gently tossed them in the trash bin, careful not to give herself some microscopic cut of some sort.
The flutist then soaked up the soda with a dry towel, it was done twice as fast with Kyle helping her out. A quick wipe with a wet towel to avoid any sticky shoes later on... and they'd be done. Jenny sighed, reaching her hand out as if asking for the towels so she could toss them in the sink. "I forgot that pizza smells so good."

[Joe: Engine Car]
The fighter jumped and flinched at the sharp crack of lightning, whole body tensing for the impending blow that was sure to come and hit him...except it was just lighting. He hated loud noises...always managed to startle him. And apparently terrify Dawn, too.
Crouching next to Dawn and rubbing her back slowly and gently, the male looked to Jack. "Uh...I gave that to James, earlier. I currently don't have it."
Of course, with the lack of more thunder and lightning, and rain as well, something in Joe's brain nagged at him. And no, it wasn't Sylph.

[Dawn : Engine Car]
Dawn had closed her eyes and covered her ears. She was expecting more thunder or lightning but no more came. Though she grew up in a state where severe thunderstorm warnings were practically every day, mainly the late spring and early summer months. She should be used to this. But she was the exact opposite. She hated thunder and lightning. It freaked her out whenever the lightning would strike.
Her body started to relax slightly when she felt the comforting touch of Joe's hand on her back. Though Dawn was still not focused enough to considerate on the conversation between him and Jack.
Dawn swallowed loudly as she tried to get herself together.
"Can-can we... go..?" she stuttered in a very soft voice.

[Engine Car --> Dining Car ~ Train]
Jack frowned, "So . . . you gave it to him . . . and now he has it. Well then. I'll just be going now."
Jack turned and stormed towards the dining car. Cheeky little bugger, he didn't say he had it. You left before he could. Did not . . .
The pirate marched into the dining car, grabbed his chair, sat in it, threw his boots up onto the table, and leaned back on two of the chair's legs.
"'Ello gents. Apologies for interrupting, but I had a question." He said, eyes a little wild. "Hmm . . . this is odd . . . does this feel like deja vu to you?"

[Alan :: LoD :: Tea Shop]
It was a little while before Alan's ill temper abated, but abate it did - at least somewhat. Unfortunately, his encounter with other humans had been less elucidating than he had hoped, and he was still left with many, many questions - maybe even more than before. He was sure, though, that Earth had been more than just another world in the endless cosmos.
Nonetheless, Alan decided to push his bitterness aside and continue to be as polite as possible to these people. For now, he would follow them. He looked up at Jon's query from staring into the depths of his empty tea cup. "I can leave whenever," he said. "Don't let me hold you up."
He'd have to talk to Jon later, once there was no risk of braking Riku's mind or whatever. Of course, that might be difficult considering the amount of world natives the earthlings were traveling with. He wondered what their transport was like, and if it was possible to get someone alone and un-eavesdropped-upon on it.

[[Just trying to get a move on, so I'm just GMing Fuu's characters a bit.]]
[ Seymour : Forbidden City ]
As the three women (Yuffie, Maggie, and Beatrix) walked into the Tea Shop, Seymour followed, assuming Nicholas to be behind him as well. He saw, however, that quite a few of the team were missing. Namely, the people who weren't Earthlings, aside from Riku.
"It seems I've missed the chance for tea," Seymour said with what might have been considered disappoint, if only barely. "You all seem ready to go. I'd like to accompany you, to be an aid as it were, but where, pray tell, are you going?"

[ Kefka : ??? : Dark Tower ]
"Definitely~" Kefka responded with a low chuckle, disappearing before reappearing in the same spot, only on his feet instead of his hands; his fingers were sinisterly tapping one against one another in front of him. "Which did you have in mind? Shall we mess with the bratlings? Turn friends into foes? Amass an army? Come on, I'm giddy, let's just destroy something!"
