Don't you hate when someone takes over the company that a nice guy founded and it becomes some warped conglomerate with complete disregard of normal ethics.

And Thanks Gouf. To everyone in the military I really have to commend all of you that chose to go in, because believe me I know its not easy. My father has been in for almost 30 years, so I have a very good idea of how the military works.

yeah it is a chore and a half Lol nah, I carry with me all the lessons I've learned while I served. Met some great people too

The people kick a**.
Though from military brat to M. Brat. I hafta say I'm learning more about the military by being in it then I did from dad or living the brat life.

I suck at reading rank structure.
Lol I barely get base commander and that's cause there's so few people with that rank!

The Navy wanted me soooooooooo bad. Until I said I didn't want to be a Nuclear engineer on a submarine. The recruiters haven't spoken to me since. And I mean they literally stopped talking to me immediately after I said no to nuke engineer.

LOL, yeah I guess saying no to becoming a nuke would get them to stop. However that's really sad that they didn't try to offer more positions. On the other hand...they are sooo very annoying, that it's good to get them off your back.

@ Zeato: I'm sure I'd learn more if I were to go in as well. I'm just saying that there are draw backs as well, and its something to consider before entering. However there are a lot of interesting people, both good and bad rofl

Yeah, from what I know, they offer the highest retainment cap for Nukes when you re-enlist. Like a good 200k in your pocket, all tax free

Lol, the way it works here is, the recruiting officers try and fill a quota of each position dependent upon the need within the field. So when I went in, because the positions I wanted were all filled the first time I basically got offered an infantry position (which I'd already been warned I'd be getting) but I just opted to re-apply the next year, as I'd gone kind of late the first time around. So they knew I was coming the second time around, smile I just had to re-photocopy a couple things they'd lost/missed the first time around and write an essay et voila, success.

Anyway I looked up how to make onion rings! So I'm gonna go try that ^.^

Well on the annoying front, you could always do what a guy who graduated a year before me did when the Air Force would not leave him alone. They would call him day after day asking him to join or for him and his family to have dinner with the recruiter. Finally he relented on one condition, could his boy friend come too. He never heard from the recruiter ever again.

One of my best friends from school came up with another way that seemed to work really well. He would just answer the phone "Asthma", and they would immediately hang up. After a few weeks of this they stopped calling.

uhrm, Canada's just not that creepy guys o.0

We have to TRY and join the military...they don't like actively stalk people. ...like they have recruiters yes, and suck people into infantry positions I'm sure....but overall...neh.

Though! The blood bank TOTALLY does.
