"Lemme get this straight-- You guys have... a base... in outer space?" Abby asked, amazed. "Can I go to it?!" she suddenly added in a hushed whisper, and the fear she had was replaced with excitement. "It'd be really cool to be in space!"

"Took him long enough though yeah?"
She whispered back to Dundee. Although with these very, "southern" seeming guys, whispering wasn't really whispering as she would if out on the city patrolling with Batman or Robin.
"So are we taking the truck? I don't feel like making batman upset and take one of his other vehicles..."

Dundee smirked. "Remind me t' talk to you later." he said with a wink.
Arell laughed, apparently he heard the whole thing, but was distracted by Abby. "Uh, yeah, sure! Let's take de truck." Arell said. Apparently it reminded him of something on TV and was smiling at that. Why do I have the sudden urge to call my next car the "Enterprise" or some sort? he asked as they went for the pickup truck.

Bruce looks over at Tim, Abby, Jinx, and Jack. "Why don't you four go up to the Watch Tower and see what's going on up there?" He the pushes a button on the computer console as a transporter to the Watch Tower slides out of a section of the wall that opens up. He then takes out a box of communicators marked LoSH. "Since time seems irrelevant here, hands these out to the new heroes you deem fit."
Jack sniffles a bit, holding his hands to his chest. "But, but, my car."
Bruce sighs. "You can still find it when you come back."

Tim looked among the other three that Bruce picked out for the Tower, and gave Abby a reassuring smile as he headed for the transporter.
"The Watch Tower is the best place to be once we check the systems."

Abby took one of the communicators and, blinking with confusion, moved to the transporter alongside Tim.
"So... how does this thing work?" she asked, looking at it. "Is it like that machine in The Fly? Like, it breaks a person down into atomic particles, keeps them close somehow, and sends them to another location where they get back together?"

The voice from earlier suddenly spoke again from over the com. "Hey, Batman. Annette's your problem now."
Bruce looked around the Batcave. "Who's Annette? And what do you mean she's my problem?"

Tim looked Bruce's way again, still listening to the transmission.
"I'm guessing we're about to find out."

Bruce looked at the group "Transport when you are ready. Jinx can you please go with them?" He asked the goth as kindly as Batman could ask anyone anything.

Jinx shrugged and walked over toward the others for transport giving a patented chashire cat smile, "Okay, this will be a first.. seeing the famous Watchtower and looking down at the earth from space. Sounds like fun."

Robin frowned. Maybe maintaining contact with whoever was at the base was a good thing for the group to do.
"Robin to Watchtower. Four are on our way up."
Maybe he'd get more info on 'Annette'.... honestly, they didn't have enough information on anything new around here.

Jack Firerose looked at the transporter. Jack then asked.
"Is this safe?"
As he walked over and stepped on the pad.
Bruce looked over at Jack then back to his work with a slight smirk "Maybe"
"Wai- Wha-??"
*Poof!* The four got teleported to the JLA Base.
((Exit Tim, Abby, Jack and Jinx to the JLA Base))
Batman opened a transmission up to Brigade. "According to what cars are supposed to be in my garage, number eight doesn't look right." he looked at a feed from the garage of Wayne Manor. "Bring it to the Batcave."

Brigade's reply was quick and simple: "Affirmative, Wayne-Bruce."
Meanwhile, Brenda was watching Bruce from her spot, which she still hadn't moved from, and she was smirking yet again.
"I'd ask why you haven't said anything to me or about my presence yet... but I think we both know why I don't have to," she said, in an almost lighthearted tone, while Brigade drove the specified car into the Batcave and stepped out of it.
"Here is the vehicle you requested, Wayne-Bruce," Brigade said.
