Blossom blinked. "Huh? Whaddaya mean?" she asked. "You were playing your flute and I zoned out. Why are you crying about that? Should I have paid more attention?" Blossom put her hands on his shoulders. "Did I insult you? I shouldn't have zoned out, huh? I'm sorry! Please don't cry!" Blossom hugged Nils, trying to make him feel better.
[[Haha, she doesn't even realize what happened~ She's so thick.]]

(( Ah-ha-ha. I love you, Blossom~ 8D ))
Nils just continued to cry, shaking his head back and forth. "T-the song... cursed... didn't know... played anyways... Sorry..." His words were forced out, coming out shaky and hard to understand.

A frown spread across Blossom's round face, her blue-grey eyes puzzled. "Cursed song...? What do you mean?" She looked at the flute that Nils had dropped and allowed to roll away from him, scooping it up. She traced her fingers along the restorative song engraved on the side of the flute. "You mean when you played this, that's why I zoned out? 'Cause the flute's cursed?" Blossom looked at the flute with wide eyes.
"...Wait, why would Siegell give you a cursed flute?" she asked. She dropped the flute back on the ground, pinning it underneath one of her large boots as she hugged Nils again.

"Well one reason would be that Siegell just is the way he is. Would he really give us all gifts, like he had a personality change? If you think about it, then it makes sense."

Amelia came back into the room as NoMetal spoke up. "Would he really give us all gifts, like he had a personality change?" he said.
Amelia frowned, scratching her cheek. "What's going on? Something bad happen?" she asked, trying to mask the trepidation in her voice. "Why is... Nils crying?" Amelia's face shifted to one of concern. She looked over at NoMetal, then at Blossom and Nils, the former of whom was still hugging the little Bard and trying to make him feel better.

"It appears that the flute Siegell gave Nils was cursed, and when he played it, the people who heard it became basically statue like. It was only till a bit ago, when Nils played that last song did people regain their composers. My guess is that was what Siegell wanted to happen."

Amelia's eyes widened. "No, that's... that can't have been what happened...!" she said in astonishment. She looked over at Blossom and Nils, then back to NoMetal. "Siegell was a cruel, heartless jerk before, but he wouldn't do this on purpose!"
She thought back to the ride back to Fefga's house, after the fight with the clock tower creature. "I'm on your side now, and that's what's important, right?"
"He wouldn't do this on purpose..." Amelia started, but even as it came out, she could practically taste the irony. She sighed. "Dastard..." Amelia sank down into a sitting position on the carpet, resting her cheek on her fist, closing one eye. Liar... how could you pull this crap? This had better have been a mistake... Better have been...

Nils wiped his eyes, feeling worse and worse by the minute. "I-I don't know... I just don't know..." The bard didn't know what he didn't know, but the words came out anyways.

"Ah... my.. head." Sue looked around, now somehow regaining her mind. She had no memory of what happened at all.
"Everyone seems to be safe for now." Victoria sighed in relief. "And... did you all truly think that Siegell wasn't your enemy? I never trusted him from the start!"

"I thought we could at least trust him a little..." Amelia muttered. She ran a hand through her hair and pressed her palm against her eyes, scoffing silently. You're a real idiot, you know that? Protip: Don't try to trust men that attempted to kill you. Twice.

Ed stirred to life. She blinked away something like drowsiness, believing that she'd merely fallen asleep to Nils's song, and saw that she'd drooled a bit on her ham-hock. She resumed her gnawing activities when she realized that everyone was flocking around the bard for some reason. When the wolf lifted her head, she saw that it was because Nils had been crying.
Uh-oh. What happened? The wolf watched and listened from a distance, tilting her ears here and there. A curse? Wow. Did the wyvern rider give that flute to Nils on purpose? If he did, then he was a reeeaaal jerk.
Ed sloped her head to the side, watching the others, though she remained under the tree.

"I'm fine... Nils... just so long as everyone else is..." The nomad took a look around, sighing with relief. "Ah... no one is harmed..."
"It's a good thing too!" Victoria exclaimed. "From now on... we don't trust our enemies..."

"And I was going to tell that rider that I accept his aplogy." Melethia said gettting up. "I'm going to give that rider a piece of my mind." She walked out the door.

"He went to take care of some bandits," Amelia called after Melethia. "Probably because someone's paying him through the nose for him to do it." She again flicked her bangs out of her face, vaguely considering just chopping them off. Wonder what a boy's cut would look like...
